September 2021[edit]

  1. Card games online: nominated at AfD; notified Wikkifix (talk · contribs) 14:14, 30 September 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: Unclear scope of article; currently just a WP:REPOSITORY of random non-notable sites, some Google search figures (no idea what search queries are actually being used, and doesn't really provide any useful information) and a "History" section that has nothing to do with "card games online". It links to Digital collectible card game which doesn't seem to be relevant as this article seems to discuss games with a typical deck while the other is for collectible card games. To me this looks like WP:INDISCRIMINATE.

October 2021[edit]

  1. Mary van der Valk: nominated at AfD; notified Mary van der Valk (talk · contribs) 01:56, 12 October 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: Article created by user named the same as the subject and mostly written by a single-purpose IP, mostly completely unsourced. Sources are just two book database/purchasing sites and a blogpost written by the Berlicum library. Meets no criteria of WP:NAUTHOR as I could not find any professional reviews of any of the mentioned works in English or Dutch (though it is entirely possible I missed something in Dutch) or anything about the author specifically. All of the Authority control entries have zero or very little info. I even went searching on the things mentioned on the Wikidata entry - this site which is used as a source for many of the statements contain no prose at all. The "Berlicum Children's Jury Award", mentioned in the article, is cited to the aforementioned blogpost (in Dutch which calls it "Berlicumse Kinderjury"), which states that the book was awarded it by six children from three primary schools (Google Translate) -- certainly not a significant award and indeed there is essentially no other mention of "Berlicum Children's Jury Award" or "Berlicumse Kinderjury" on the internet.

November 2021[edit]

  1. Wikipedia:Inclusion criteria: nominated at RfD; Target: Wikipedia:Notability (notified); notified Gracefool (talk · contribs) 00:39, 16 November 2021 (UTC)
    • Reason: I do not wish to delete this redirect; however I am suggesting either a retarget to Wikipedia:Stand-alone lists#Selection criteria or disambiguating to Wikipedia:Notability, Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not, and Wikipedia:Stand-alone lists#Selection criteria. My reasoning is that while it does make some sense for "inclusion criteria" to refer to "the criteria that determines what should be included in Wikipedia", based on a search it appears that the vast majority of the exact term "inclusion criteria" on Wikipedia is referring to list inclusion criteria. Indeed, I only came across this redirect when searching for WP:Inclusion criteria, looking for the specific project page regarding list inclusion criteria. My reasoning for including Wikipedia:What Wikipedia is not in the proposed dabpage is that this used to redirect there and it seems reasonable enough - I would not object to a dabpage without that on it. Best,

February 2022[edit]

  1. Template:DaftPunkTeachersLyric1: nominated at MfD; notified Copperwidth (talk · contribs) 19:44, 18 February 2022 (UTC)
  2. Template:Uw-vandal3-usernamekiran: nominated at TfD; notified Usernamekiran (talk · contribs) 02:01, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
  3. GM Card: nominated at AfD; notified B64 (talk · contribs) 03:26, 20 February 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: This article was WP:BLARed in 2019 by User:Newslinger with the rationale Redirect to General Motors. Highly promotional with no significant coverage in independent reliable sources, and several citations to sponsored content. Article was primarily written by sockpuppet of undisclosed paid editor (WP:SOCKSTRIKE), and recently WP:RfDed here, where consensus was to revert the BLAR and send to AfD. It was also previously AfDed in 2008 where the topic was determined to be non-notable. There is no reliable significant coverage at all (I actually had to delete some "secondary" sources when restoring the article as they were on the MediaWiki spam backlist), and the article is nothing short of a concealed advertisement.
  4. Template:Constellations/Polynesian: nominated at TfD; notified MadeYourReadThis (talk · contribs) 19:31, 22 February 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Only used in three articles and has no primary article. Most of the link targets are straight up wrong (19/26 blue links are not related to astronomy, most to birds), and I see some links have even already been unlinked or piped to redlinks to avoid incorrect targets. So, this will likely not help readers with navigation at all. However, more importantly, the list seems to be entirely OR and uncited as I cannot find any canonical source that specifically lists these 42 constellations; the main source for the articles that do exist, http://archive.hokulea.com/ike/hookele/hawaiian_star_lines.html, does not include some such as Hunakai, Pueo, and Palila, and indeed searching for a subset of these together such as "moli" "hunakai" "pueo" "palila" yields nothing relevant (only birds, roads, spam, or things obviously derived from Wikipedia).
  5. Newbury Medal: nominated at RfD; Target: Saul Newbury (notified); notified Wikited (talk · contribs) 12:54, 23 February 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Retarget to Newbery Medal as plausible misspellings. Google searches are mostly misspellings for Newbery Medal and I found no indication that this obscure award is ever referred to as the Newbury "Medal".
  6. Thomas Allen (divine, Thomas Allen (1608–1673))): nominated at RfD; Target: Thomas Allen (nonconformist) (notified); notified Boleyn (talk · contribs) 17:30, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: The ones with three close parentheses originate from a move that lasted less than a minute and are clearly mistaken (having mismatched parentheses); the ones with two close parentheses originate from a title that lasted for a bit over a day, but in all these are really unlikely disambiguators to be helpful given they also contain the name of the person within the disambiguator. There's also Thomas Allen (divine, (1608–1673)) and hyphen variants, but the page was at that title for a few months.

March 2022[edit]

  1. Unused Templates Task Force: nominated at RfD; Target: Wikipedia:WikiProject Templates/Unused Templates Task Force (notified); notified WikiCleanerMan (talk · contribs) 00:12, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Unused cross-namespace redirect that was recently created, rarely viewed, and likely too obscure to be helpful to any readers. Anyone who stumbles upon a mention of this somewhere in projectspace/talkspace/etc likely knows to look for it in projectspace.
  2. `Id kull-il-Qiddisin: nominated at RfD; Target: All Saints (notified) 03:45, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Seems to be a transliteration of a direct translation of "All Saints' Day" from Arabic or some other Semitic language (WP:RLOTE). Online searches show no use of this transliteration online anywhere except from websites deriving data from WP.
  3. Bogengrad: nominated at RfD; Target: Degree (angle) (notified); notified Matthiaspaul (talk · contribs) 04:01, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: German translation with no mention or justification in article; delete per WP:RLOTE.
  4. Brageirac (vila): nominated at RfD; Target: Bergerac, Dordogne (notified); notified L293D (talk · contribs) 04:10, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: While the name of the commune is in the native Occitan, the disambiguator "vila" does not appear to be in English, French, or Occitan (rather Portuguese/Galician/Catalan), so is inappropriate for a redirect. This redirect was created at AFC with the simple reason "native name", which does not explain the disambiguator.
  5. Altgrad: nominated at RfD; Target: Degree (angle) (notified); notified Matthiaspaul (talk · contribs) 04:12, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Same as Bogengrad below: unnecessary WP:RLOTE from German.
  6. Computerwoche (0170-5121): nominated at RfD; Target: Computerworld (notified); notified Matthiaspaul (talk · contribs) 04:19, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: No reason to have an ISSN in redirect titles (implausible and unnecessary disambiguation), especially as the publication in question does not have a standalone enwiki page.
  7. Dongbien: nominated at RfD; Target: South China Sea (notified); notified Joshua Issac (talk · contribs) 04:25, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: This title seems highly implausible as a search term. From doing some research it seems that it can only come from a corruption of the Vietnamese name, Biển Đông (lit. "Sea" and "East"), that has switched the words, removed the space between them, and removed all of the diacritics. In addition, according to Wiktionary, "Biển" should always be capitalized anyway. Unsurprisingly, Google results are completely unrelated.
  8. Doublé: nominated at RfD; Target: Double (band) (notified); notified Vegaswikian (talk · contribs) 04:28, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Can't find any indication that this band ever had an acute accent on the e. Suggest retarget to Glossary of fencing#D where the term is mentioned.
  9. Drawsko (jezioro): nominated at RfD; Target: Drawsko Lake (notified); notified D6 (talk · contribs) 04:34, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: These redirect pages have the parenthetical disambiguator "jezioro" (Polish for lake). While they do lead to lakes in Poland, I do not think a disambiguator in a foreign language will be a common search term for readers of the English Wikipedia, and indeed these largely have few pageviews.
  10. Meanings of asteroid names (9001-1000): nominated at RfD; Target: Meanings of minor planet names: 9001–10000 (notified); notified Urhixidur (talk · contribs) 16:54, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Not sure if this redirect is a plausible typo; it gets very few pageviews and is several modifications away from the canonical article title ("asteroid" vs "minor planet", parentheses vs colon, hyphen vs dash).
  11. Decke: nominated at RfD; Target: Sound board (music) (notified); notified Rigadoun (talk · contribs) 23:40, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
  12. Ćajtanja: nominated at RfD; Target: Chaitanya Mahaprabhu (notified); notified Visor (talk · contribs) 23:41, 5 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: WP:RLOTE apparently from Polish, which has no connection to the target.
  13. Ajedrez: nominated at RfD; Target: Chess (notified); notified Sun Creator (talk · contribs) 00:08, 6 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Whole load of WP:RLOTEs to Chess (Spanish, French, Portuguese, Turkish, Russian, Arabic, Afrikaans, Breton, Kazakh, Catalan, Czech, Danish, Esperanto, Icelandic, Latvian, Lithuanian, Latin, Mongolian, Norwegian, Turkish (for "check"/"king"), Czech/Slovak, Tagalog/Cebuano, Ukranian, Vietnamese, Hindi, Irish, Volapük, and Punjabi). Some are mentioned in the body of Chess, some in the body of History of Chess, but I don't believe any are particularly connected to chess (besides being spoken in Eurasia as the game spread). My suggestion is Retarget شطرنج to Shatranj and delete all others.
  14. Enui: nominated at RfD; Target: Ennui (sonnet) (notified); notified BenFrantzDale (talk · contribs) 00:25, 6 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Due to some double-redirects, this has ended up redirecting to Ennui (sonnet), which as far as I can tell is never spelled with one n. This seems to be a common-enough misspelling to have a significant number of pageviews, so suggest Retarget to Boredom, which ennui redirects to.
  15. Beffroi: nominated at RfD; Target: Belfry (notified); notified Olivier (talk · contribs) 04:10, 6 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Unnecessary WP:RLOTE from French; either delete or possibly redirect to Belfries of Belgium and France (the only term on the dab page relevant to the Francosphere), though the latter does not list the French name of the site at all in prose.
  16. Cyclus (geometry): nominated at RfD; Target: Turn (angle) (notified); notified Matthiaspaul (talk · contribs) 04:24, 6 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: I'm a bit confused here. I can't find any instances of the term "cyclus" being used in geometry in any language, at least from Google Books and other sources. There's this etymological dictionary that indicates a circle or the revolution of a celestial object, which is I guess is similar to "turn" but seems really obscure/archaic and is likely more astronomy-related than geometry. There's also this, which uses it in a German quote that seems to mean something like "the [cycle] of my work in the field of analytical geometry is complete", not related to angles at all. Of note is that the dab page Cyclus does not mention this either, nor does the Turn (angle) article in all of the languages I checked.
  17. Congean: nominated at RfD; Target: Otitis media (notified); notified Jeromi Mikhael (talk · contribs) 04:37, 6 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Can't find anything conclusive in searches; possibly means the target in Malay or Indonesian (cf wikt:congek). WP:RLOTE applies.
  18. Fifre: nominated at RfD; Target: Fife (instrument) (notified); notified Rigadoun (talk · contribs) 04:49, 6 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: French and Italian WP:RLOTE; can't find a particular connection with the target.
  19. Lifeformed: nominated at RfD; Target: Dustforce (notified); notified Periaster (talk · contribs) 00:55, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: An {{R with possibilities}} that could equally point towards either Dustforce or Tunic (video game) (Lifeformed composed the soundtrack for both; neither articles have any information about him), so suggest deletion to encourage article creation and to avoid confusion for readers.
  20. Civil Court: nominated at RfD; Target: Lawsuit (notified); notified UtherSRG (talk · contribs) 17:25, 30 March 2022 (UTC)
  21. Greenlandic Dannebrog: nominated at RfD; Target: Flag of Greenland (notified); notified Kxeon (talk · contribs) 00:51, 31 March 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Doesn't make sense. Dannebrog is specifically the word for the red-white-Nordic-cross flag of Denmark (not flags in general), so "Greenlandic Dannebrog" is meaningless ("Greenlandic [Danish flag]"?). It's almost like an WP:XY situation. In any case, there are no results of this phrase anywhere on the Internet so delete.

May 2022[edit]

  1. Allegheny County: nominated at RfD; Target: Alleghany County (notified); notified Stan Shebs (talk · contribs) 13:42, 16 May 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Suggest a retarget to Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, the original target, with a hatnote to the dab page. It was changed to its current target by Nyttend in 2013 with the rationale Change target; yes, it's the only one with this spelling, but it could easily mean one of the others with similar spellings and identical pronunciations, but WP:MINORDETAILS exists, and in addition to being the only one with this specific spelling, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania is the most prominent county on the dabpage by far (by population, pageviews, etc; certainly a primary topic for its, again, unique spelling).
  2. Pilot (The Gifted): nominated at RfD; Target: Gifted (disambiguation) (notified); notified Adamstom.97 (talk · contribs) 23:59, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: This redirect initially pointed to The Gifted (TV series)#ep1 (now The Gifted (American TV series)) which listed the first episode as being called "Pilot" at the time (permalink). However, this seems untrue; the cited source said it would be a television pilot but not specifically entitled "Pilot" ([1]). Indeed, when the episode was released, it was called eXposed. My inclination is to delete this redirect, as the title was never real, but I'm not sure if precedent for TV series is to redirect "Pilot ([show name])" to the actual pilot episode even if it was titled differently, so I'll leave my thoughts as weak and let others more familiar with the matter discuss.

June 2022[edit]

  1. Joey's: nominated at RfD; Target: Joey Gosiengfiao (notified); notified Joe Decker (talk · contribs) 00:02, 24 June 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: This is a redirect from move of an article, Joey Gosiengfiao, from an obviously malformed title. It was previously a redirect to 26th Milestone, Isle of Man before the article was created, and it only lasted as an article at this title for two days. IMO this should be redirected to Joey as ambiguous or straight up deleted.

July 2022[edit]

  1. LGBT culture in Connecticut: nominated at RfD; Target: LGBT culture in New York City (notified); notified Castncoot (talk · contribs) 00:49, 12 July 2022 (UTC)

September 2022[edit]

  1. 2012 Utah State House of Representatives District 53 election: nominated at AfD; notified Votegoode123 (talk · contribs) 21:07, 17 September 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Only WP:ROUTINE coverage for this typical, non-notable state house election. I was going to WP:BLAR this to a parent article about the 2012 Utah state house elections in general but it turns out even that doesn't exist, so delete.
  2. Portobello FC: nominated at AfD; notified Till3pm (talk · contribs) 02:09, 21 September 2022 (UTC)
  3. Forbes Haiti: nominated at AfD; notified MJ.edit (talk · contribs) 23:17, 22 September 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: The actual thing that this article is referring to is a non-notable WordPress blog[2][3][4][5] all of these links are clearly not RSes but share the detail of being founded on Sep 19 which appears completely unaffiliated from the real Forbes. The sources are some apparently irrelevant IMF report and two Forbes pages that just happen to be about Haiti, nothing related to this blog.
  4. Aerial arts: nominated at RfD; Target: Aerial dance (notified); notified Jiaminglimjm (talk · contribs) 15:07, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: These redirects should probably point to the same article; my preference is Acrobatics.
  5. Aerial circus arts: nominated at RfD; Target: Acrobatics (notified); notified AtticusX (talk · contribs) 15:07, 23 September 2022 (UTC)

  6. Aerial art: nominated at RfD; Target: Trapeze (notified); notified MarylandArtLover (talk · contribs) 15:08, 23 September 2022 (UTC)

November 2022[edit]

  1. Egg Custard: nominated at RfD; Target: Custard tart (notified); notified Deb (talk · contribs) 16:27, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: These two redirects should point to the same article. In addition to their current targets, there is also egg tart as a possible target.
  2. Egg custard: nominated at RfD; Target: Custard (notified); notified Rakista (talk · contribs) 16:27, 28 November 2022 (UTC)
    • Reason: Bundling with below nomination
