Kelmitt not mentioned in this article at all. There might have been some cooperation between Kelmitt and Bad Bunny which was removed, but even if there was, there are many other artists they cooperated with which this redirect hides e.g. Farruko, Arcángel etc. Muhandes (talk) 21:04, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Thomas Allen (divine, Thomas Allen (1608–1673)))[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete. plicit 02:34, 7 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Delete all. The ones with three close parentheses originate from a move that lasted less than a minute and are clearly mistaken (having mismatched parentheses); the ones with two close parentheses originate from a title that lasted for a bit over a day. Overall, these disambiguators are unlikely to be helpful given that they also contain the name of the person. There's also Thomas Allen (divine, (1608–1673)) and a hyphen variant, but the page was at that title for a few months. eviolite (talk) 17:30, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete all per nom. We don't need repetitive titles here, much less in the disambiguator. Those are just unlikely to be searched for. Regards, SONIC678 20:48, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete all per nomination. I suggest to also delete Thomas Allen (divine, (1608–1673)), the title is non-standard and very unlikely to be searched for either, because of all the brackets, the comma & ndash. ---CX Zoom(he/him) (let's talk|contribs) 09:54, 28 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - There is no evidence that it is a commonly used abbreviation for Aperture Science, and was created unilaterally by a now-banned user. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 14:42, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Subtitles. Jay (talk) 06:44, 5 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This was moved to Video captures two days after creation, which was later merged as a duplicate article. It looks like this would be better as a redirect to subtitles, of which "captions" is usually a synonym. ~~~~

  • Delete: WP:REDYES. Also, subtitles are not captions and the synonymity is unfortunate. Veverve (talk) 15:09, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete simply does not make sense. Capture, captions, and subtitles are three different things. If we don't have an content on captions this shouldn't exist. Beeblebrox (talk) 23:57, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Holy building[edit]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Place of worship. plicit 12:39, 6 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think that someone searching for this is far more likley to be looking for information on religious buildings than misspelling "Holey building" (nominated below). I don't know what would be the best target for this though, Sacral architecture? Place of worship? Something else entireley? 192.76.8.77 (talk) 12:22, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The target here is not the only building with a hole in it and does not appear to be widely referred to by this name. The HTML comment left by the creator this is that French building with a huge hole in it, hence holey building suggests to me that this is a name that was made-up by the editor. 192.76.8.77 (talk) 12:18, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete As vague and unclear whether it's a misspelling or referring to buildings with literal holes in them. Search function would be more helpful in this case. ᴢxᴄᴠʙɴᴍ () 14:47, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, too vague. When I saw this title, I thought of the CCTV Headquarters building in Beijing, and there are surely many others that it could describe. —Mx. Granger (talk · contribs) 19:39, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Would this be more useful if retargeted to Malignancy? (WP:PLURALPT: "Because most articles ... have singular titles, the normal situation is that a plural redirects to its singular") Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 09:42, 27 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Orange ball[edit]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Orange Ball. Liz Read! Talk! 02:15, 6 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Descriptive, but hopeless ambiguous. This does not seem to be the primary topic for "orange ball" Hog Farm Talk 01:26, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Wondering what on Earth it could redirect to, I looked to see what the world outwith Wikipedia thought. And I learned that an orange ball (association football) used to be used when playing in the snow. But our article doesn't mention that. Uncle G (talk) 03:49, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • A gas station, an album or a plant perhaps? Other sport articles that mention an orange ball include street hockey, snooker, golf, football, and putt-putt. -- Tavix (talk) 04:42, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
      • Well, no. Because (apart from the two that actually have names that match, one of which the search would go to anyway, as observed by A7V2) the rest are balls that are orange in a purely descriptive fashion. Hence why I wondered what on Earth it could redirect to that was specifically, in some way, an "orange ball" of some significance rather than just a ball that was orange. (A white horse isn't just a horse that is white.) There's the occasional special use as a sign for ships, but that doesn't appear to be an actual widespread rule anywhere that I could find. Uncle G (talk) 05:11, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: way too vague. Veverve (talk) 07:58, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Ambiguous and may cause confusion. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 13:03, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disambiguate Comment - if deleted, then searching this will (unless I'm mistaken) automatically take you to Orange Ball, so perhaps a DAB would be a better option since there appears to be several terms which can and are referred to in this way. A7V2 (talk) 22:48, 20 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • Amongst what? Buddleja globosa has the alternative name orange ball tree, not orange ball. (It is ironic that we do not even redirect that alternative title.) What could a disambiguation article list? What are the multiple overlapping redirects from alternative titles that need disambiguating here? What on Earth can this redirect to? Uncle G (talk) 05:11, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
      • All the !votes so far apart from mine are to delete for some variation of this being ambiguous. If that is the case (that this is ambiguous), deletion will not fix the problem since searching this will not bring up search, but instead take you to the article Orange Ball (if this is deleted). There are numerous possibilities of what this could be consisdered ambiguous with. Most of them aren't particularly convincing but together I think perhaps enough to justify a DAB rather than retarget to Orange Ball (which is almost the effect of deletion as far as search is concerned. I was initially going to put "comment" instead of "disambiguate" as I'm not necessarily advocating this, more that I think deletion (as opposed to retargeting or creating a DAB) won't solve the problems raised. A7V2 (talk) 22:15, 22 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
        • I have changed my !vote to simply a comment as I had originally intended. I still believe that deletion is not the right option as it won't fix the issues raised by delete !voters. A7V2 (talk) 00:42, 2 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete the Sun is referred to as an "orange ball" in many a work. And then there's the orange, a fruit shaped like a ball, or the grapefruit -- 65.92.246.142 (talk) 05:53, 21 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Orange Ball as a {{R from incorrect capitalisation}}. Thryduulf (talk) 22:44, 26 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
