Not mentioned in the target; if I can guess correctly, the artist this redirect refers to does not have enough notability for an article. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 22:26, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete both as non-notable bands, stereotechnique would mess up natural searches for stereo technique, of which there are some PTMs that the general search would be better for displaying. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 19:04, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Stereotechnique in regards of its target is actually an implausible misspelling of the true artist's alias, Stereotronique. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 01:40, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Rundfunk[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.

Ambiguous redirect; current target refers to a former member of the label who is not mentioned in the current revision. The artist today is working as part of Televisor (duo), which is also a redirect due to lack of notability. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 22:25, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Wiktionarize or create a disambiguation/name list for the Rundfunk surname. — Zawl 05:44, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment Is Rundfunk really a surname? I don't see anyone in Wikipedia with that name. All the cases where it appears in an article title are WP:PTMs for broadcasters. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 06:08, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Rundfunk translates to broadcast. Should this be a SIA? Or let search do its job? It's certainly not exclusive to an artist. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 14:33, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: "Rundfunk" is a prominent element in a number of German-language broadcast entities, which typing it into the WP search function will illustrate. Definitely fails WP:XY. Ravenswing 19:25, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. -- Tavix (talk) 01:51, 13 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ambiguous redirect; current redirect refers to a former artist on the label which is not mentioned in the current revision. Name could also refer to the subtitle of a Sims expansion pack. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 22:23, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to the Sims expansion pack or wiktionarize. — Zawl 05:45, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Artist no longer appears on the Soundcloud-like roster and is not mentioned in the article so no lasting notability. If you want it to redirect to The Sims, then move without leaving a redirect it to "Hot Date" without the exclamation point. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 14:25, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Fullnight is not an appropriate term Redgro (talk) 17:25, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. No notable media with such a title, and no nearby articles to match to (closest was Fulbright). AngusWOOF (barksniff) 18:22, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: Setting aside the fact that the creator of this redirect is indeffed for attacks, the redirect itself is implausible. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 04:47, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

William Edward Haesche[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep. (non-admin closure)Uanfala 11:28, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No indication of why this would be a plausible search term. It's be like redirecting Donald James Trump to Donald John Trump. DrStrauss talk 16:36, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep Incorrect names which have appeared in printed WP:RS are generally plausible search terms (see Google Books). Tag it as {{R from incorrect name}}. The article existed for nearly 10 years before someone noticed "Edward" was wrong (fortunately, all the printed usages seem to pre-date Wikipedia, so they're not our fault.) 59.149.124.29 (talk) 17:05, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Example books using Edward dated 2008 dated 1999 although the Yale directory also mentions a William Edwin Haesche (pot pourri vol. 41, 1906) [1] and another Yale one mentions a William Edward Haesche (banner and potpurri vol. 7, 1915) [2] He was a prominent professor there. Same person? Seems so. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 15:03, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I don't understand what is being questioned here. I moved the article from Edward to Edwin because all the sources I can find say Edwin. I assume the original article creator probably made a mistake in using "Edward." Even if not, the preponderance of Edwin would indicate poor preparation prior to article creation. - 12:34, 3 October 2017 (UTC)
  • Keep as likely typo as the above sources show, especially the Yale Banner and Pot Purri print. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 15:06, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep and tag as {{R from incorrect name}} per above. Nomination appears to be another WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS argument. jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 04:52, 4 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

AfDed as a standalone article in 2013 for being an unsourced neologism, and subsequently set up as a redirect. This fails WP:XY, though; there is nothing about the phrase that automatically pertains to the National Hockey League specifically or ice hockey generally, and the top Google hits include one to a Madden NFL YouTube clip, a TripAdvisor restaurant review, a since-expired saddlery's sale, a book on department stores ... Ravenswing 11:46, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete: this could be used in so many different contexts. If someone wants to turn it into a disambiguation page that's fine but for such a vague term to be redirected to one of many possible articles is incorrect. DrStrauss talk 16:38, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete vague term, not mentioned in target article. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 18:24, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

No Hindus known or mentioned in country. Legacypac (talk) 08:36, 18 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Retarget to Religion in Angola#Hinduism since Patar knight has found and added some information. Good work! -- Tavix (talk) 12:10, 27 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, jd22292 (Jalen D. Folf) (talk) 05:16, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep and refine after Patar knight's addition. – Uanfala 18:20, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep and refine target. Nice work! That's the kind of entry that would justify the redirect. Whether it needs its own section or just a paragraph under "other religions" can be discussed later. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 18:27, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

WP:REDLINK this was the result of a move (there are no links to it outside RFD), but they do not mean the exact same thing, also this title suggests a general topic and not a list, hence it is misleading. - CHAMPION (talk) (contributions) (logs) 05:13, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Conservatism in the United States isn't the same as Republican, and there's no mention of Hispanic Conservatism in the Conservatism article either. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 18:40, 2 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per AngusWOOF. I have no problem redirecting this title to a list in general, but only if the list was of things (people or parties most probably) related to Hispanic Conservatism in the United States. That is not the topic of the target list though, so it does not make a good target. Thryduulf (talk) 11:58, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
