Considering a redirect and/or disambiguation[edit]

I think it would be helpful if Boys, be ambitious or some variation of it redirected to William S. Clark. He is the source of the motto, which is known throughout Japan, and I've often seen it quoted in Japanese media without further attribution. It took me more than a few roundabout clicks to find the article explaining it. I know there's enough precedent for famous sayings redirecting to their source. However, what's stopping me from just creating the redirect right now is the existing article for Boys Be Ambitious, a 1996 movie named after that exact motto - and the possibility other readers wouldn't use it. How would I phrase any hatnotes on the pages in question, if the redirect does belong? Airbag190 (talk) 00:55, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

How to make red links for new entries which will require disambiguation[edit]

I'm proposing a new article about Adam Lowe, a significant figure in the art/digital technology world. Lowe is already mentioned in a couple of places on wikipedia, but the mentions had been mistakenly linked to an article about another Adam Lowe (a writer, performer and publisher). I have deleted these incorrect links, and am preparing a disambiguation page alongside the biography page, but was wondering if someone could tell me how to make a new red link for the new Adam Lowe. @Anachorism: You make a redlink the same way you make a bluelink: with brackets. I suggest you use a redlink that would match the new article name, like Adam Lowe (artist) (although you would probably use the pipe character like [[Adam Lowe (artist)|Adam Lowe]], so it would look like Adam Lowe). Redirecting[edit]

Hello. I have moved a draft to mainspace. However in the title the surname of the person which the article was about was spelt incorrectly. The only way I could find to change the title was by redirecting. This worked to change the surname in the title. However now the article will only appear if you type in the incorrect name, it directs to the correctly titled page. So if someone searched for the article by searching for name as it should be spelt it doesn't show show. It only shows if you type in the incorrect name, then redirects to the right page. I hope that makes sense.

How will I be able to make it that the correct name shows the actual(and correct) article?

Typing in "Adam Dillon" offers the correct article name - it may have not done so immediately after the move. Having said that, i'm not at all clear on the notability of the subject of the article. The sourcing looks insufficient. Mikenorton (talk) 16:26, 13 April 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Please Create Section for Pandemic Unemployment Benefits "PUA" in the USA[edit]

Please add a section on Pandemic Unemployment Benefits to the existing https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Unemployment_benefits_in_the_United_States and I will help with primary and secondary sourcing. A table for each state's status and website might be in order.

Problem Creating A Page[edit]

Wikipert22 Hello; as you were told by reviewers, the player does not seem to meet Wikipedia's special definition of a notable soccer/football player, written at WP:NFOOTY- or the more general general notability guideline. There also seems to be some question as to whether the league this player is in is fully professional, and you were advised to consult the Football WikiProject for advice. How to add summary under search term[edit]

Hi wiki-friends!

I noticed that most articles have a short summary in the search box while typing. For example if you type William Shakespeare in the search box, the caption "English playwrite and poet (1564 -1616)" shows up under his name in the search. But none of the articles I have written have one. Do I need to do something special to have one added?
