Unexplained changes to Formula One articles[edit]

Please stop making changes to Formula One articles, particularly your apparent changes of race positions to conform to current practice, without leaving an Edit summary to give your reasons for such changes. Britmax (talk) 08:15, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I have reverted those of your recent changes which seemed to apply current rules of non classification to former races. Races are recorded according to the rules applicable at the time, not at some other time. It would be helpful if you would leave an Edit summary when making changes so that other editors can see what your reasons are. Britmax (talk) 11:22, 14 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Taxicab vehicles[edit]

Hello, I've seen you use the taxicab vehicles category in many automobile articles. Please note that the category is only used in automobile articles specifically built as a taxi, such as Toyota Limo, Toyota Comfort and Toyota JPN Taxi. I've reverted all of your edits. Thank you. 103.84.7.73 (talk) 05:08, 7 October 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. An automated process has detected that when you recently edited Cewe, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Eschbach (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are usually incorrect, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of unrelated topics with similar titles. (Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.)

GMN TV moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, GMN TV, does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Information icon Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you copied or moved text from one or more pages into another page. While you are welcome to re-use Wikipedia's content, here or elsewhere, Wikipedia's licensing does require that you provide attribution to the original contributor(s). When copying within Wikipedia, this is supplied at minimum in an edit summary at the page into which you've copied content, disclosing the copying and linking to the copied page, e.g., copied content from [[page name]]; see that page's history for attribution. It is good practice, especially if copying is extensive, to also place a properly formatted {{copied}} template on the talk pages of the source and destination. Please provide attribution for this duplication if it has not already been supplied by another editor, and if you have copied material between pages before, even if it was a long time ago, you should provide attribution for that also. The subject cannot be generally notable when it's still several years away from happening.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Information icon Hello, I'm Perfect4th. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Erling Haaland, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Perfect4th (talk) 03:51, 16 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Philippe Hinschberger, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. GiantSnowman 10:00, 27 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
In particular, Viktor Lazlo is a stage name, not a family name. You looking at article names of BLPs and deciding their origins in the absence of any reliable sources is very concerning. GiantSnowman 17:38, 27 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Ghjuvanni Quilichini[edit]

Hello Maciej Mucharski,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Ghjuvanni Quilichini for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly indicate why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

Hello, Maciej Mucharski. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "2031 United Nations Security Council election".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been deleted. When you plan on working on it further and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. Liz Read! Talk! 17:47, 23 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Nova (tabloid) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Nova (tabloid), is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. Disambiguation pages[edit]

Please note that disambiguation pages like Gamma and Tiara are meant to help readers find a specific existing article quickly and easily. For that reason, they have guidelines that are different from articles. From the Wikipedia:Disambiguation dos and don'ts you should:

  • Only list articles that readers might reasonably be looking for
  • Use short sentence fragment descriptions, with no punctuation at the end
  • Use exactly one navigable link ("blue link") in each entry that mentions the title being disambiguated
  • Only add a "red link" if used in existing articles, and include a "blue link" to an appropriate article
  • Do not pipe links (unless style requires it) – keep the full title of the article visible
  • Do not insert external links or references - Wikipedia is not a business directory

Ways to improve Italy at the 2026 Winter Olympics[edit]

Hello, Maciej Mucharski,

Thank you for creating Italy at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

I have tagged the page as having some issues to fix, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Please remember to add redirect tags per WP:RCAT when creating redirects.

The tags can be removed by you or another editor once the issues they mention are addressed. If you have questions, leave a comment here and begin it with {{Re|Voorts}}. Remember to sign your reply with ~~~~. For broader editing help, please visit the Teahouse.

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on United States at the 2028 Summer Olympics requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion discussion, at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2022 February 21#United States at the 2028 Summer Olympics. When a page has substantially identical content to that of a page deleted after a discussion, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. voorts (talk/contributions) 22:40, 6 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Italy at the 2026 Winter Olympics[edit]

Hello, Maciej Mucharski,

Welcome to Wikipedia! I edit here too, under the username Voorts and I thank you for your contributions.

I wanted to let you know, however, that I have tagged an article that you started, Italy at the 2026 Winter Olympics, for deletion, because a consensus decision previously decided that it wasn't suitable for inclusion in the encyclopedia. If you wish to restore a page deleted via a deletion discussion, please use the deletion review process instead, rather than reposting the content of the page.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top. If the page is already deleted by the time you come across this message and you wish to retrieve the deleted material, please contact the deleting administrator.

For any further query, please leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Voorts}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ . Thanks!

October 2023[edit]

Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits to UEFA Euro 2028, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. There are no sources that explicitly say that the 5 hosts qualify for this event. A source that's an invitation for people to bid from 2021 does not verify this assertion. I am marking this one reviewed, but I think it unlikely to be independently notable. You've not cited anything that shows in-depth or sustained discussion on it. Standalone articles on individual resolutions that don't get discussed beyond routine reporting and mentions may not be the best use of your time as they are likely to get deleted or merged in the future.
