The article Greg Huegel has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Taynara Conti requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people, but it does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.  Velella  Velella Talk   23:26, 5 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

NBA trades/signings[edit]

The reason these aren't updated until reported by the teams is that the League has to review them and sometimes they don't happen (the league rejects them, somebody fails a physical, etc). Please don't update player articles until the deal is finalized (i.e. - reported by the team(s) involved). The news' job is to report signings as they happen to get the scoop. This isn't a news site, it's an encyclopedia so having these updated immediately is less important than updating them when the results are official. Thanks. Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. This is a notice to inform you that a tag has been placed on The Basketball Tournament 2017 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. ...William, is the complaint department really on the roof? 18:34, 20 July 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Shane Larkin, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Ways to improve The Basketball Tournament 2017[edit]

The article AS Bondy 93 has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NBASKETBALL.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Request reason:

I am attempting to return to my original account. I am completely aware that in 2018, I made stupid choices on this account and after 5 years of being unactive with this account and facing the risk of permanently losing my ability to edit Wikipedia in the future, I plead my case to the Wikipedia administrators. I know what I did was completely unacceptable and that asking for forgiveness is a hard task to accomplish with some people. I ask for a second chance though, because since that day, I have tried extremely hard to make Wikipedia a better place through my other accounts by editing sports and politics article, with no opinion-based edits. I love editing Wikipedia, as I'm sure most people do. A day without me editing Wikipedia and helping to make the Wikipedia community a better place is a sad sight, in my eyes. I believe heavily in second chances because people can make mistakes. But, society has taught us to be forgiving and realize that nobody is perfect. I would ask that when you make a decision, you do it honestly. I am willing to accept the fact that the administrators are very honorable in making whatever decision they choose to make and if it means I permanently lose my ability to edit Wikipedia, I guess I am willing to accept that decision. I would however like to add that the person who blocked me indefinitely on this page was also convicted of sock puppetry, which is the charge I am currently facing on many of my other pages I made in order to preserve my ability to edit Wikipedia. I know this entry proves my guilt and further conviction, but since 2018, I have helped with the creation of many sports articles and further improvements to the sports community. I am unsure of the consequences the above-mentioned editor faced, but I'm sure they were severe. I live with the guilt of my consequences and am in no ways trying to say that I am innocent. I would just like to ask for a second chance because I know deep down, someone has the ability to be a forgiving person. If this is the end, I will just have to accept it.

Decline reason:

This user was blocked for using a sockpuppet two days ago. Per WP:EVASION, users are not to edit Wikipedia on a different account while blocked. I suggest that the standard offer be used here: wait six months without editing Wikipedia, and open a new unblock request then and an admin will assess if you should be unblocked. Z1720 (talk) 21:24, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Can you please outline the other accounts that you have used on Wikipedia since the block was enacted? Z1720 (talk) 18:04, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Elirbosley118 - I was making pure sports edits with recent sports transactions, until I was permanently banned from that account on June 20, 2020 for sock puppetry by Wikipedia administrator Eagles 24/7.
KingBozzyBoz59 - I then moved to using this account by continuing to edit recent sports transactions and was recently interested in helping to expand and modernize the NFL draft pages from long ago (say, the 1980s and 1990s) until I was permanently banned from that account on August 20, 2023 for sock puppetry, once again by Wikipedia administrator Eagles 24/7. This permanently banning of my account occurred in the middle of a 48-hour ban Eagles 24/7 had put on my account. This 48-hour ban was set to expire on August 22.
In all of my accounts (Elirbosley, Elirbosley118, and KingBozzyBoz59), I have always been guilty of making edits while occasionally forgetting to properly cite my sources (using say ESPN or breaking news outlets). This was always the main proponent for any and all bans (outside of the one I incurred in 2018, for above mentioned reasons) I have received while Wikipedia since I began in 2016/17-ish.
I hope this answers your question. Eli Bosley 20:56, 22 August 2023 (UTC)

Elirbosley (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I am attempting to return to my original account. I know that in the past, I did some very immature and very stupid things. I am not here to deny that I did such things. And, I am also aware that by sockpuppeting for 5 years after the ban placed on this account, I violated many rules of Wikipedia editing. But, I was attempting to redeem myself. As the previous request states above, I was completely focused on helping to improve the sports community and was in the midst of many huge projects that involved things I was interested in with sports, such as retooling the vintage NFL draft pages to match the current draft pages. I was blocked, which I fully deserved. And I live with the guilt of that decision every day. As such, an admin told me to wait 6 months without any edits, which I have since served. During this 6-month period, waiting for the chance to be able to write this appeal, I have had a lot of time to reflect on why the admin blocked me and I fully respect their decision. But, I have changed so much since then and have tried not to get myself into trouble on the site. I know what I did was completely unprofessional, inappropriate and extremely immature. I've cleaned up my act and I've missed editing on Wikipedia. Editing Wikipedia, while not completely a privilege for people, was an integral part of my life prior to the ban in August. Without it, I've been really bored and I've missed not being able to get this part of my life back. I know that for some administrators, it will be really hard to forgive me and my previous actions. But, I know there are some empathetic people out there. I really want to continue making a positive impact to the site and to, while not completely possible, somewhat restore my tarnished image as someone of good character and positive values. I want to be able to take a second chance if I'm given one and use it to the best of my ability to make Wikipedia a better place. I hope this reaches whoever you may be well and I appreciate you taking the time to read this appeal. Eli Bosley

Accept reason:

Stat tables[edit]

Hello. First of all, thank you for the effort you're putting in to add stats tables to various player's pages. I wanted to note that we actually don't normally highlight Pro Bowl selections in career statistics tables. Some examples can be seen at Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, and Drew Brees. Pinging @Bringingthewood, as they pointed this out to me. Hey man im josh (talk) 12:17, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Elirbosley. Like @Hey man im josh mentioned above, the Pro Bowl shouldn't be highlighted, and that goes for All-Pro teams as well. I have been removing those two things from the career statistic tables. Thanks for understanding. Bringingthewood (talk) 03:52, 15 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

NCAA stat tables[edit]

Please only add to stat to stat tables if the complete season statistics are available. Both the stat tables for Alex Karaban and Donovan Clingan were not complete and therefore inaccurate. Clingan's stats were off by 5 full games. Best, GPL93 (talk) 12:56, 10 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
