February 2018[edit]

Information icon Hello, I'm IagoQnsi. I noticed that you made an edit concerning content related to a living (or recently deceased) person on Todd Rogers (video game player), but you didn't support your changes with a citation to a reliable source, so I removed it. Wikipedia has a very strict policy concerning how we write about living people, so please help us keep such articles accurate and clear. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Some random YouTuber making a video saying "someone told me this" is not sufficient evidence, especially for a potentially-defamatory claim. IagoQnsi (talk) 19:57, 5 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

March 2019[edit]

Information icon Please do not add or change content, as you did at Doom metal, without citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article. Thank you. Robvanvee 05:46, 28 March 2019 (UTC)[reply]

August 2019[edit]

Warning icon Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to change genres without discussion or sources, as you did at Narita (album), you may be blocked from editing. Robvanvee 05:33, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The AllMusic page for the album lists progressive metal as one of the album's genres. Is the AllMusic genre listing not considered reliable? CJ-Moki (talk) 06:44, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Only the prose is considered reliable, not the sidebar as per this. Robvanvee 06:57, 2 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Introduction to contentious topics[edit]

You have recently been editing Eastern Europe or the Balkans, which has been designated a contentious topic. This standard message is designed as an introduction to contentious topics and does not imply that there are any issues with your editing.

A special set of rules applies to certain topic areas, which are referred to as contentious topics. These are specially-designated topics that tend to attract more persistent disruptive editing than the rest of the project and have been designated as contentious topics by the Arbitration Committee. When editing a contentious topic, Wikipedia’s norms and policies are more strictly enforced and Wikipedia administrators have special powers in order to reduce disruption to the project.

Within contentious topics, editors should edit carefully and constructively, refrain from disrupting the encyclopedia, and:

adhere to the purposes of Wikipedia;
comply with all applicable policies and guidelines;
follow editorial and behavioural best practice;
comply with any page restrictions in force within the area of conflict; and
refrain from gaming the system.

Editors are advised to err on the side of caution if unsure whether making a particular edit is consistent with these expectations. If you have any questions about contentious topics procedures you may ask them at the arbitration clerks' noticeboard or you may learn more about this contentious topic here. You may also choose to note which contentious topics you know about by using the {{Ctopics/aware}} template.

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in Russo-Ukrainian war. Due to past disruption in this topic area, the community has authorised uninvolved administrators to impose contentious topics restrictions—such as editing restrictions, bans, or blocks—on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, expected standards of behaviour, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on these sanctions. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

DYK for Pinky & Pepper Forever[edit]

On 23 March 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Pinky & Pepper Forever, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Pinky & Pepper Forever is a graphic novel that follows two anthropomorphic dog girlfriends through hell? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Pinky & Pepper Forever. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Pinky & Pepper Forever), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Vylet Pony moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Vylet Pony, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more in-depth coverage about the subject itself, with citations from reliable, independent sources in order to show it meets WP:GNG. It should have at least three, to be safe. And please remember that interviews, as primary sources, do not count towards GNG.(?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page.Onel5969 TT me 11:11, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Notice

The article Snoot Game has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

I believe this article does not meet the requirements of notability to justify its existence, this can be seen in all four provided references (and all sources available on the internet, for that matter) as none of them talk directly about Snoot Game, but rather talk about it in the context of its criticism towards [. Therefore I believe that keeping this topic as just a mention in GVH's article is enough.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Snoot Game article improvement[edit]

Hello CJ-Moki. We are both working to edit the page for Snoot Game. I'd be happy to collaborate with you to improve the article and provide an unbiased, accurate article for this page. Please let me know how we can proceed together to make an accurate and good faith article! StarmanSuper (talk) 16:39, 11 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello StarmanSuper: With regard to making an accurate and good-faith article, the most pressing matter is following what the reliable secondary sources say about the game (see this discussion on the article's talk page). While sourcing requirements are looser for plot summaries (see MOS:PLOTSOURCE), the reliable secondary sources still have the last word in effect on what the article says about Snoot Game, its content, and its reception. Nomination of Snoot Game for deletion[edit]

A discussion is taking place as to whether the article Snoot Game is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia according to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines or whether it should be deleted.

The nomination will explain the policies and guidelines which are of concern. The discussion focuses on high-quality evidence and our policies and guidelines.

Users may edit the article during the discussion, including to improve the article to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion notice from the top of the article until the discussion has finished.

Disputed non-free use rationale for File:Behind Closed Doors Mr. Krabs fellatio.png[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Behind Closed Doors Mr. Krabs fellatio.png. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this file on Wikipedia may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the file description page and adding or clarifying the reason why the file qualifies under this policy. Adding and completing one of the templates available from Wikipedia:Non-free use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your file is in compliance with Wikipedia policy. Please be aware that a non-free use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for files used under the non-free content policy require both a copyright tag and a non-free use rationale.

If it is determined that the file does not qualify under the non-free content policy, it might be deleted by an administrator seven days after the file was tagged in accordance with section F7 of the criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. — Ирука13 09:06, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

A tag has been placed on Category:2024 documents indicating that it is currently empty, and is not a disambiguation category, a category redirect, a featured topics category, under discussion at Categories for discussion, or a project category that by its nature may become empty on occasion. If it remains empty for seven days or more, it may be deleted under section C1 of the criteria for speedy deletion.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and removing the speedy deletion tag. Liz Read! Talk! 01:09, 25 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
