No proof that this is used as the acronym for the country's national anthem. Peter Ormond 💬 04:39, 30 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Wikipedia has no article about any topic which verifiably uses this acronym. The sole normally-cased usage is the surname of a fictional character, which would not be a good target either. 61.239.39.90 (talk) 01:15, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Not mentioned at the target and not a common abbreviation. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 07:43, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per abovementioned findings --Lenticel (talk) 11:04, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Retarget to Hap and Leonard (TV series) # Cast and characters, where the only legit use of the word "fawst" appears (in the passing mention of the character Trudy Fawst). Duckmather (talk) 00:27, 6 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - contrary to what the nominator says, it's actually fairly standard to redirect a non-notable sports stadium to the club that plays there, and it's a common-ish outcome at AFD. GiantSnowman 11:54, 3 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. Jay (talk) 12:56, 20 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Unpopular minority" is a term of art used to refer to minority groups that face negative popular opinion. On Wikipedia, however, no single article provides a definition, and those that use it, such as Republicanism in the United States, are too specific to be good targets. I think that deletion to allow for search results is the best option available at this time. signed, Rosguill talk 18:54, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in target. Was previously a separate article with no usable references, created by User:OberRanks, who has been blocked indefinitely. 85.76.134.33 (talk) 18:29, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • This isn't a matter for RFD. Reinstate article per WP:BLAR and discuss this elsewhere. See Talk:Mail buoy for detailed discussions and earlier objections to the redirection. - Eureka Lott 18:51, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Eureka Lott: Do you mean I should tag it with the PROD template after reinstating it, or something else? I don't know the procedure exactly. --85.76.134.33 (talk) 13:34, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I think it would be worth discussing potential outcomes with subject-matter experts first. WT:MILHIST could be a good place to start. - Eureka Lott 01:49, 11 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Wrong venue. RfD is not the place to request the reversal of a page move. @Maximus2929: Please refer to WP:RM and file a move request there. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 10:45, 16 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Our Wiki page was wrongfully redirected. We do not have enough experience to have it "unredirected" and need help and/or direction to undo the redirect. Please help! — Preceding unsigned comment added by Maximus2929 (talkcontribs) 13:55, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: I took the liberty of tagging your request and merging it in with the rest on this page, since it appeared malformed and wasn't properly tagged. I hope that'll help. Regards, SONIC678 15:12, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Revert page move. This level of pro basketball is not well documented in either secondary or primary sources (believe me, I know). The Razorsharks in particular have been very lax in providing any sort of official information or documentation. But likewise I cannot find any definitive evidence that the Fast Break Fury are the same team in any meaningful sense. Neither team appears to be active in either the ABA or the PBL, if you go by those leagues' websites. Powers T 20:43, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Any help getting the RazorSharks back to a stand alone page would be appreciated. The RazorSharks web page (http://www.razorsharks.com/) still exists and is still owned by Dr. Sev Hrywnak the founder of the RazorSharks. Maximus2929 (talk) 12:34, 13 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:SIGNIFICANT[edit]

The result of the discussion was keep. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 06:31, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Significant is a word used in several guideline pages, and is a natural and useful shortcut that should help editors understand the concept. The current target had its days but is now reduced to a 3-line essay. It has a "not to be confused with" hatnote to Wikipedia:SIGNIFICANCE suggesting that significant and significance are ambiguous terms. The hatnoted target (also an essay) is more descriptive and detailed. Pointing these similarly named shortcuts to different essays is confusing. Suggest the same target WP:Credible claim of significance for both. I understand that many talk and discussion pages may need to be fixed. Jay (talk) 06:50, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep Whether something is "significant" is distinctly different from a "claim of significance". Likewise, it isn't harming anything. YMMV. Buffs (talk) 20:28, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep, especially if they are already widely in use. Shortcuts are ambiguous by nature, and the current situation seems reasonable enough not to warrant a change. — Godsy (TALKCONT) 23:04, 16 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

UCD Hockey Club[edit]

The result of the discussion was retarget to UCD Ladies' Hockey Club. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 06:32, 19 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No information about the club at the target. The ladies club has a standalone article, so I believe this can have one too. Suggest deletion. Or retarget to the ladies club as a second option. Jay (talk) 05:30, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This deletion was suggested at the RfD for UCD Olympic Handball. Pinging all participants of that RfD: Rosguill, Explicit, Shhhnotsoloud, A7V2, MBisanz. Jay (talk) 05:45, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Ignite (band). (non-admin closure) ʇsᴉuᴉɯǝⅎ (talk) Слава Україні! 12:45, 16 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This was nominated for speedy deletion a couple weeks ago as an implausible redirect, but it's been around since 2013 and doesn't meet WP:R3. Bringing it here for a full discussion. - Eureka Lott 15:57, 1 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. Not only is this not a common use, but it's ambiguous: Joe D. Foster is apparently the Joe Foster of Ignite (band) and there may be others. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 08:42, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Ignite (band) I cannot find anything really referring to her seeming to imply its implausibility; however, Joe D. Foster is a member of Ignite (band) and I can't really seem to find anyone else of any note with that name; so it seems like a retarget wouldn't cause confusion. WP:CRYSTAL. The target contains no information on a potential iPad OS 16. -- Tavix (talk) 03:57, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. WP:CRYSTAL, as noted; iPadOS says nothing about any iPadOS 16 release, as noted; and I'm sure we can all wait another month before we have an article. Guy Harris (talk) 07:33, 9 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete per Guy Harris. XtraJovial (talk) 21:21, 10 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible redirect. The New Canaan Branch is not known as the Red Line and never has been. This is a confusing and misleading redirect, and "Red Line" is not used in the target article anywhere. The same goes for:

Delete all per nom. This is a made-up term and does not seem to be based on anything other than the railway's color on a map. Epicgenius (talk) 17:42, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
