This probably should be disambiguated if not deleted since it could very much target {{R from book}}, {{R from journal}}, and {{R from creator}}. –MJLTalk 05:29, 5 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I've seen messages on other templates which suggest more specific templates. That would be appropriate here. I don't understand why you think {{R from creator}} is a possibility however.
Deleting a template that has more specific other templates would be inappropriate however. Invasive Spices (talk) 5 December 2022 (UTC)

  • Delete - As a Futurama geek, I have voted in a few other recent RfD discussions based on my obsessive knowledge. But in this case I can't remember "Blue Munda" being mentioned anytime in the series at all. Perhaps the fan community remembers better, but the chances of a search term here are microscopic. Medulla (Bjoerk album)[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. Additional redirects that were mentioned but not tagged for RfD were not considered as part of this close. signed, Rosguill talk 22:54, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

For housekeeping purposes, recommend deletion as an unlikely search term that misspells the musician's name (Björk). ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 18:32, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Update - Per the discussion that developed below, I also propose the following additional redirects as part of this deletion nomination: List of Bjoerk tours / Debut (Bjoerk) / Wanderlust (Bjoerk) / Hunter (Bjoerk song) / I Miss You (Bjoerk song) / Family Tree (Bjoerk album) / Who is It (Bjoerk song) / Inside Bjoerk / Vessel (Bjoerk DVD) / Bjoerk discography / Discography of Bjoerk / Bjoerk's Greatest Hits / Bjoerk (book). There might be more out there but this is already a pretty big project. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 15:53, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I believe I made that based on the existence of Bjoerk which redirects to the artist. No articles link to that either but I must've assumed it was a valid alternate spelling; can't imagine why that would exist otherwise. If this one goes then I'd recommend checking for more and clearing them all out. QuietHere (talk) 19:11, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Now we need some admin/expert help. After I completed this nomination, I investigated further and found several other redirects to Björk-related articles that use "Bjoerk", perhaps because someone once decided that it is a likely misspelling. Most were created by someone named Eubot in 2008. The pattern is applied inconsistently and some are incorrect per naming conventions even if they were legit. This one on the Medulla album created by QuietHere is recent. I am not convinced that the misspelling is likely and requires so many preventive redirects. Acting upon this one for Medulla would leave all the others behind, so I request assistance on whether tackling the group can be done through a series of connected nominations here, or if some other process would be better. Thanks. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 19:27, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Eubot indiscriminately created oe and o redirects for every single article whose title contained a ö character. The community is still cleaning up after it over a decade later. I have no opinion on the merits of this discussion, although I note Bjoerk survived a past RfD in 2017 * Pppery * it has begun... 19:55, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
That 2017 discussion was very bureaucratic, with a lot of "what if" ideas about preventing hypothetical future confusion instead of hunkering down and cleaning up an unnecessary old mess. If it looks like we're heading in that direction again, perhaps I will withdraw this particular nomination about the Medulla album. But where to discuss that bigger mess? ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 14:54, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I created a full list of the relevant redirects (at least those that I could find) here: User:Doomsdayer520/sandbox#Björk/Bjoerk redirects. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 19:29, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@Doomsdayer520: I think it would be helpful if all of those redirects bar Bjoerk were bundled with this RfD.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Shhhnotsoloud (talkcontribs) 20 December 2022 (UTC)
  • Delete this and any other Bjoerk-related redirects, with the exception of Bjoerk, which might be helpful. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 15:43, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Now this I will directly object to. If one redirect is at all useful then they're all equally useful because they all serve the same purpose of directing people who search with an alternate spelling of the artist's name. If you're keeping one then you ought to keep the lot. Not that I'm decided on whether they should stay or not, just that it should definitely be all or nothing. QuietHere (talk) 21:56, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I too find "Bjoerk" to be an unlikely misspelling of the famous musician's name, as anyone unaware of the correct spelling might screw up the Icelandic ö but not multiple vowels. I don't think that redirect is necessary either. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 00:17, 21 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

More than one station known as "Ostbanhof" as this is a generic term for "east station". Apart from Berlin Ostbahnhof, there is Berlin Old Ostbahnhof, Munich East station (known in Germany as Munich Ostbahnhof) and Frankfurt (Main) Ost station (again Ostbahnhof is in common German name). DAB page is invariably better for readers, as we shouldn't assume they're looking for the Berlin station Joseph2302 (talk) 16:05, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Adriano#Brazilian footballers. signed, Rosguill talk 22:53, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This is a result of a move by MB a year ago, on the basis that Adriano (footballer, born January 1982) and Adriano (footballer, born April 1982) both exist. I was going to retarget this to Adriano § Brazilian footballers, as I usually do when someone has moved a page for ambiguity but not retargeted the redirect, but couldn't help but notice the massive pageview disparity between the February Adriano and the January and April ones. WP:INCOMPDAB says In individual cases consensus may determine that a parenthetically disambiguated title that is still ambiguous has a primary topic, but the threshold for identifying a primary topic for such titles is higher than for a title without parenthetical disambiguation. Is this such a case? If so, the move should be reversed. If not, the redirect should be retargeted to the DAB section. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 10:17, 5 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to disambiguation page. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 15:52, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Adriano per Shhhnotsoloud. I'm not sure why it should favor this footballer over others born in the same year. Regards, SONIC678 04:20, 22 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as February Adriano, primary topic by several orders of magnitude (61,763 this month over the low 300s for the two combined). Rusalkii (talk) 19:55, 22 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Adriano#Brazilian footballers per nom, but regardless of a primary topic. The quoted text in the nomination starts with In individual cases and I think this is a case where we need not go by the primary topic rule. Readers do not remember or go by month and year of birth, or even year of birth for that matter. If the disambiguator was a club name or some other easily identifiable fact about the subject, I would argue that primary matters. Here, looking at number of entries at Adriano#Brazilian footballers, the logic I see for the birth-based disambiguators is a technical convenience to differentiate similarly titled articles. Adriano (footballer, born 1974) and Adriano (footballer, born 1985) also go the dab page. Jay 💬 13:25, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
However, the move made by Ortizesp can be reversed. Adriano (footballer, born 1994) was moved to Adriano (footballer, born February 1994) even though there is only one entry for 1994. Jay 💬 13:31, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Seemingly a misreported name for Caprisongs; see e.g. [3]. As the misnomer is not mentioned at any article, should be deleted. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 09:32, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete as unlikely typo. Defo not a notable misnomer. Carpimaps (talk) 11:53, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete: There were apparently rumors prior to the project's announcement that that would be the title, but without much to subtantiate them. If there were mention of that in Caprisongs then it would be an obvious retarget but since there's not, be rid of it. QuietHere (talk) 19:16, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - This was an early misperception about the title of the album that ultimately became Caprisongs. Delete as irrelevant for what happened in reality, because searching under this title is highly unlikely. ---DOOMSDAYER520 (TALK|CONTRIBS) 19:42, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
