The result of the discussion was delete. signed, Rosguill talk 23:02, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not a prominent name for the musician. I think the one mention of it in the AfD (about a different subject by the same name) may have just been a typo. In any event, it isn't widely used for the musician and doesn't appear in the article. It would be better to delete the redirect and reduce confusion with the Wikipedia hoax better known by this name. czar 20:25, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Standard primary habitability[edit]

The result of the discussion was no consensus. There was no support for the current target, and there was a desire to target Planetary Habitability Laboratory where the mention can be added. Jay 💬 07:30, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The redirect target used to have information about this term: https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=List_of_potentially_habitable_exoplanets&action=submit

But it's since been removed. I'm not sure if it's a term from a single source and thus not notable? -- Beland (talk) 10:52, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's a habitability metric formerly(?) used by a single source, the Planetary Habitability Laboratory - [1], [2]. It could potentially be mentioned in and retargeted to that article, but shouldn't be a redirect to the current target. SevenSpheres (talk) 15:38, 1 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Relisting comment: For an opinion on the retarget suggestion. I have notified of this discussion at Talk:Planetary Habitability Laboratory as well.

The result of the discussion was delete. Jay 💬 07:26, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

King Combs is mentioned on 20 other articles on Wikipedia. There's no reason why, without an article, his name should redirect to this one song, which wouldn't even appear to be his most notable song, so delete until an article can be made. Ss112 03:50, 13 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was speedy delete. This is the result of what shows every sign of being page move vandalism, and if it isn't then it was clearly some very strange kind of mistake; either way it qualifies for speedy deletion. Either as G3 or as G6. JBW (talk) 12:19, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure what this is supposed to refer to but it definitely isn't in the page. Rusalkii (talk) 08:00, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: This was clearly created as a result of some page-move vandalism. I've now tagged this for speedy deletion per criterion WP:G3, which surely applies here. CycloneYoris talk! 09:34, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

No mention at target. Even when this was created (three days after being deleted at AFD, see Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/South Melbourne Cecil Street) there was only a passing mention, one I do not think justified a redirect. This street is mentioned in passing at South Melbourne market, and perhaps elsewhere, but I think deletion is best here. A7V2 (talk) 07:58, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. Jay 💬 03:00, 3 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The current target section no-longer exists. I'm unsure if it would be best to target to some other section, or to target to Non-synchronous transmission (the target of crash gearbox) as this specific term isn't used in either article (nor was it used when the redirect was created) and I'm not even certain what exactly it is referring to, and if it is of the same type as a crash box. So perhaps deletion would be a better option. There is some usage (unhyphenated) on wikipedia in articles for older cars such as Locomobile Sportif and Chevrolet Light Six. The result of the discussion was retarget to Tuen Mun Town Plaza. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 00:09, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in article. Appears to be an abbreviation for their album Tear Me To Pieces. Rusalkii (talk) 23:46, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Delete Not a notable acronym. I could not find any mention of the album being referred to as "TMTP" RoostTC(ping me!) 06:39, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Retarget to Parras characodon, which has a CoL identifier of TMTP, as a onwiki search reveals. (Judging from filenames, Tuen Mun Town Plaza may be a plausible target too.) Duckmather (talk) 19:44, 14 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Tuen Mun Town Plaza which appears to be what most mentions in Enwiki refer to.Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 09:50, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment to closer. TMTP was not nominated but I suggest that what applies to Tmtp should also clearly apply to TMTP. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 09:53, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep, retarget or disambiguate - Keep as a suitable acronym for album AND song with no other higher use, retarget or disambiguate. --Jax 0677 (talk) 15:43, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Id, ego and super-ego#Ego. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 00:07, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

General topic linking to specific philosopher's idea about it. Suggest delete or retarget to ego disambig page Rusalkii (talk) 00:06, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Ego.
Veverve (talk) 15:46, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • RetargetWeak retarget to Id, ego and super-ego#Ego, as that explains the psychological concept of "ego", which is clearly the primary topic. (I chose this as it's also the target of Ego (psychology).) However, "concept of" redirects tend to be kind of awkward and unnatural, so deleting this is also ok. Duckmather (talk) 21:43, 20 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Actually, now that I think of it, retargeting to Id, ego and super-ego#Ego may lend undue weight to Freudian psychoanalysis, since I think that is still pretty controversial among psychologists. Other plausible targets: Self-concept (the target of Self (psychology), as wikt:ego defines "ego" as The self, especially with a sense of self-importance), Egotism, or Egocentrism (the latter two are mentioned on the ego dabpage).
