The result of the discussion was no consensus. Editors remain split between keep and setindexify after three relists. signed, Rosguill talk 22:50, 27 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Propose converting to a DAB page, as there are 3 valid targets for this name: Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Tagenarine Chanderpaul and Chanderpaul Hemraj (an alternate spelling for Chandrapaul Hemraj). Whilst Shiv got the most views historically, more and more people will be looking for his son, who is an active cricketer at almost international level. Pageviews: [1], Tagenarine is getting about 1/2 the views that his father is, compared to about 10% a year ago. Joseph2302 (talk) 14:22, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep as is for the time being. Obviously we can re-evaluate if the younger Chanderpaul gains more recognition, but for now he's uncapped and a clear second on long-term significance, which is all the more obvious when you factor in WP:RECENTISM in that he plays now, yet he still lags his father by 50%.  — Amakuru (talk) 14:50, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • SetIndexify: Even with the father being more notable for cricket and definitely having more accolades than his son, being an active player referred to by that name would mean a reasonable number of people, even if only at a 1:2 ratio, are looking for him when searching for Chanderpaul makes me think there isn't a strong WP:PTOPIC here, but that's admittedly in my interpreting a 1:2 ratio as not fulfilling much more likely than any other single topic, but that's definitely subjective. I then would argue this can't be resolved with WP:TWODABS necessitating an SIA. TartarTorte 15:02, 25 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect from a magazine covering a city to the city itself; the magazine evidently merited a sentence in 2006, but now there are zero mentions outside a citation. I suggest deletion. Vahurzpu (talk) 21:16, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Unhelpful due to the capitalisation. I recommend deletion. Jesus Christ, our savior and lord also exists, I do not know if its validity should also be questioned. Veverve (talk) 19:33, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • This is certainly a phrase that is used quite a bit, but someone entering it with the "Amen" would probably be expecting to find an article on a particular prayer containing this phrase, not Jesus himself. (For that they would search just "Jesus Christ, our lord and savior" [thus I'm fine keeping that] or, ya know, just "Jesus Christ" or "Jesus".) But there doesn't seem to be any one article on any particular liturgical topic to point to, so delete. -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she|they|xe) 11:25, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete due to several miscaps. The phrase seems to be part of a prayer from the Book of Worship for Church and Home (1965) --Lenticel (talk) 12:00, 19 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Recently created cross-name space redirect to a template that has one transclusion on the creator's user page. Not useful. Whpq (talk) 19:13, 18 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Sun gun. This is the name of a non-notable trophy without a mention in the current target article. Pointing this redirect to my proposed target would serve a more useful purpose. Dsuke1998AEOS (talk) 22:28, 11 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Retarget to either Sun gun (as already explained) or to Boktai: The Sun Is in Your Hand. For Boktai, the protagonist of the series uses the Solar Gun as part of the story, which apparently MGS4 references. --Super Goku V (talk) 08:57, 12 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Duluoz Legend[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Jack Kerouac bibliography. Restored previous target. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 01:37, 26 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Duluoz Legend" is a term used by Jack Kerouac to refer to his collected semi-autobiographical prose works. This was an article until 2013, when I redirected it to Jack Kerouac bibliography, on the basis that the categorisation is unlikely to be notable and the article giving an overview of Kerouac's work is the closest topic. Two weeks ago Gnominist retargeted it to Vanity of Duluoz, one of the novels that make up the "legend". As the name isn't used in either of those articles, or discussed in much depth in any other article, there's a case to be made for deleting this. On the other hand, if we do want to keep it, the previous target seems preferable to the current one. There may also be an argument for restoring the article and sending it to AfD, though no one's expressed any support for an article on the subject in the last nine years. I'd be interested to know what others think. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 19:53, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Belle France[edit]

The result of the discussion was keep. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 10:53, 25 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in the target article, leaving it unclear why this redirect targets its target. Also, using this term on third-party search engines using this term return primarily results for a clothing company and nothing about the country. Steel1943 (talk) 21:34, 3 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep; [2] [3] [4] looking a bit harder this seems a common synonym. I'm of the opinion that a synonym redirect needs no mention to be helpful as its very redirection is all the information the reader needs as to the term's meaning. Or the reader simply wants the France article; it works both ways. J947edits 22:13, 7 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Those links make it seem as though the synonym is "La Belle France" with the "La" included. The Australian article makes it seem as though the editor who wrote the headline decided to use a made-up, WP:OR-ish title to make the title sound great without providing any evidence the phrase without "La" refers to France. Also, the "stackexchange" link's text reads as though "Belle France" without "La" is erroneous/improper as well. With all that being said, third party search results for the phrase "Belle France" still tend to bring up results for the clothing company, meaning there's a good chance readers of English are not looking for the country when searching "Belle France".
