Not members of the German band Pankow. Their only mention is in the writing credits for one song on the compilation album Funky Alternatives Seven for an Italian band named Pankow [it], which has no article on English Wikipedia. Not mentioned at target. Searching indicate this is the "second level" of this video game. Without being mentioned, fails WP:ASTONISH MB 14:48, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep - Google suggests that there are no other significant uses of this phrase that aren't related to the video game. Wikipedia is not a game guide, but if readers are looking for information on an element of the video game, they won't be astonished arriving at an article about the game itself. Confusing redirect. It seems that the article Kang Ye-won was under this title for a few hours until the original author moved the article, but I don't see why someone else would make the same typo. The target looks like a WP:SURPRISE to me as a person searching for this title is more likely to be looking for someone who's called Kang Hye-won, for example ko:강혜원. • Retarget to Iz*One per Stefan2. I don't see why not. Note that Kang Hye-won (singer) already redirects there, though since she's a former member, we may need to update those if she becomes independently notable, joins another group, etc. --BDD (talk) 03:11, 30 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

PiM's is a biscuit-like cake produced by the Kraft Foods brand Lefèvre-Utile, as disambiguation page for PIMS reflects in "Other Uses". So it is proposed to retarget Pim's to Lefèvre-Utile (it is also mentioned in its lead) Jaffa Cakes. Alexcalamaro (talk) 18:41, 25 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I have created a small section in the Jaffa Cakes article to include PiM's and the Polish version (with a photo I took yesterday), so I think that the best redirect is to Jaffa Cakes article. Alexcalamaro (talk) 14:09, 27 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Redirected for years to the Salsa page, until Salsa taquera ("taco sauce") was removed from the page. Taco sauce could either refer to salsa or hot sauce. Some restaurants like Taco Bell serve hot sauce packets as their taco sauce. Keep the Salsa redirect, or retarget to Hot sauce? This term seems ambiguous. Colgatepony234 (talk) 15:02, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • I'm inclined to delete. Unlike, say, an enchilada, a taco doesn't necessarily have sauce at all, and there are plenty of sauces besides hot sauce and salsa that can be served with one. There's no mention of tacos at List of sauces, and while there's a single mention of taco sauce at Taco, the other mentions of sauce there are for a citrus/mayonnaise sauce. On the other hand, most Google results for the phrase are for hot sauces—on the other other hand, no mention at Hot sauce either. --BDD (talk) 15:51, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • I disagree with BDD. One can very clearly go to a supermarket and buy a product named "taco sauce". (At least one can here in New York.) So we need something to satisfy that search, whether it be a redirect to a DAB page or to a specific page about a particular product, or a new page about this specific product. I would prefer to see Taco sauce redirect to Hot sauce rather than just be deleted. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:07, 30 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. There is very clearly something called "Taco sauce" given that my search results for the specific term are filled with very similar recipes (principally tomato puree, water, white vinegar and cumin). One of those recipes claims that this sauce is known as "Salsa taquera" in Spanish (a redirect to Salsa (Mexican cuisine) here, but a red link on eswiki). Thryduulf (talk) 07:38, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • Comment Salsa (Mexican cuisine) is clearly different from Taco sauce. Taco sauce (as sold in my area of the United States) is a purely liquid condiment whereas salsa is comprised mostly of chunks of tomatoes and other vegetables (and sometimes fruit) with additional spices. These are two completely different products. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 12:22, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
But Salsa (Mexican cuisine) is about "a variety of sauces", probably the result of us trying to balance the word's meaning in Spanish vs. English. Now I'm leaning more keep, with a preference for expanding the target article to cover this topic. --BDD (talk) 14:35, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
As long as Salsa (Mexican cuisine) is expanded to cover the purely liquid concoction sold as "taco sauce" (think small packets available at outlets such as Taco Bell), then I would support that. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:38, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Taco What one thinks of "taco sauce" probably varies depending on whether you are refering to traditional tacos or hard-shell tacos. It's not always pico de gallo or a red hot sauce in a bottle or packet.—Bagumba (talk) 16:08, 2 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Overly vague, no clear destination. Better off using the search function instead.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 02:15, 7 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disambiguate between Salsa (Mexican cuisine) and Hot sauce for now. Regarding Bagumba's suggestion, we can include Taco on the first line instead of as a DAB bullet, e.g. "Taco sauce may refer to any sauce commonly used on tacos, such as:". If Salsa (Mexican cuisine) is expanded to include the various things known as "taco sauce" then it can be retargeted there. -- King of ♥ 00:17, 11 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
In the absence of a standalone taco sauce page, any interim solution is awkward, but deletion is the worst alternative. I suspect this is akin to steak sauce. Not all steaks need sauce, some people put on what is called steak sauce, while others have a sauce for steak that is different from what is called steak sauce i.e. Steak#Sauces and condiments.—Bagumba (talk) 07:39, 13 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment @CycloneYoris: Three relistings is unusual. Per WP:RELIST, relisting should not be a substitute for a "no consensus" closure.Bagumba (talk) 06:25, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Bagumba: And that's precisely why I wrote a short explanation, as also stated at WP:RELIST: Users relisting a debate for a third (or further) time, or relisting a debate with a substantial number of commenters, should write a short explanation either within the relist template, or in addition to it. CycloneYoris talk! 06:56, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete in favour of search results. "Taco sauce" is not a specific variety of sauce, it's any sauce someone puts on a taco. Salsa, hot sauce, chimichurri, mayonnaise, salad dressing, cranberry sauce, corn relish, guacamole, sweet onion sauce, sour cream or creme fraiche, barbecue sauce, gravy ... a list of all the things one might put on a taco would not be a disambiguation page, it would be an unencyclopedic and never-finished set index full of editors' preferences and opinions. I'm sure there's a Mexican cuisine Wikia out there that this could be added to. Ivanvector's squirrel (trees/nuts) 13:24, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Scratch that; retarget to taco. The article about the food already does a good job of explaining different things one might put on a taco, including various sauces. Ivanvector's squirrel (trees/nuts) 13:26, 2 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Comment I see very little in Taco about sauces. There was one mention of "taco sauce" there which was not defined any further. I went ahead a linked that so it will go to Salsa roja (see below). MB 00:36, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
There are three mentions of sauce, and there are links to pico de gallo and Salsa (Mexican cuisine). Ideally there should be a standalone article for taco sauce, and the taco page can also be enhanced. However, taco as a target might just be the best general coverage that we have for now.—Bagumba (talk) 01:51, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
A standalone article (or a set index even) for taco sauce would be ideal, if we could agree that taco sauce was a specific thing. By that I mean marinara sauce is a thing, as are hollandaise, chimichurri, and maple syrup - they're all specific formulations where we can definitely say that "this concoction is maple syrup", or that it's not. It has a fairly narrow definition. Maple syrup is a specific reduction of maple sap; you can't make maple syrup any other way, and it's not just any syrup you put on pancakes (although pancake syrup is redirect back to maple syrup, maybe that's a bad example, but say you live with someone who insists that mint jelly goes on pancakes, or some other kind of fruit jam). Taco sauce is more like pancake syrup than marinara, I guess is my point: it's more of a category of condiments than a well-defined type of sauce. I agree (as I said already) that the best way to handle this is to cover it in the taco article, and have "taco sauce" redirect there. Ivanvector's squirrel (trees/nuts) 20:38, 9 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The case of taco sauce is probably similar to steak sauce, but tacos are slightly less prominent than steak being an "ethnic food".—Bagumba (talk) 04:47, 10 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Redirect to Salsa roja which now mentions it by name and seemed to be the most appropriate description of the product we already had. MB 00:36, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@MB: While salsa roja translates to red sauce, it is not the same as taco sauce. I have removed your change from salsa roja. Regards.—Bagumba (talk) 01:43, 5 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
