Move to Troy, NY. The typical convention is to use a comma to divide the city name and the state code. I somehow missed that Troy, NY is already a valid redirect. "[G14 applies to a] redirect that ends in "(disambiguation)" but does not redirect to a disambiguation page or a page that performs a disambiguation-like function" (i.e. G14 does not apply to a page which performs a disambiguation-like function).

The original formulation of that part of G14 was "G14 also applies to orphan "Foo (disambiguation)" redirects that target pages that are not disambiguation pages or pages that perform a disambiguation-like function (such as set index articles or lists)", added by Shhhnotsoloud following the discussion now at Wikipedia talk:Criteria for speedy deletion/Archive 74#Deletion of redundant (disambiguation) redirects. They clearly show that the intent is clearly that redirects ending in "(disambiguation)" which target pages such as lists and set indexes that perform a disambiguation-like function cannot be speedily deleted under criterion G14.     • Comment FILEREDIRECt was copied from COMMONS without considering the differences between a Wikipedia and Commons. (ie. we do not distribute files across different projects, needing to keep redirects around, so that files will still work) The Filespace instructions copied from COMMONS without considering that a Wikipedia does not distribute files across multiple projects makes fixing files problematic. That fils can be simply and easily renamed with the recent versions of MediaWiki, and have no difference in workload with renaming an article, should be put into consideration with the filespace rules when dealing with a single project's files (ie. not on COMMONS) -- 64.229.90.53 (talk) 22:34, 11 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect was tagged for speedy deletion as nonsense, which it seems to be, but since it has existed since 2008, I thought it deserved to go to RFD in case any editor could understand why it was created and has not been deleted in 13 years.
