The result of the discussion was chemindexify. 1% because there's a clear consensus, 99% because it's a fun word. /j (non-admin closure) -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 22:42, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Looks like disambiguating with Americium(III) oxide would be helpful. ~~~~

Not mentioned at the target, this appears to be the name of a genre coined by Spotify [1] [2] that seems to be on the borderline of meeting notability itself. In the absence of a DUE description anywhere on Wikipedia, however, the redirect should probably be deleted for now. signed, Rosguill talk 21:12, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Phenyl group#Nomenclature. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 06:19, 8 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The pentafluorophenyl group is better described at Phenyl group#Nomenclature. ~~~~

  • I don't mind if you change the redirect to that target. In the longer term I think it should have an article written on the group. Graeme Bartlett (talk) 20:25, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to Phenyl group#Nomenclature per the above. The phenol is too specific an example. Mdewman6 (talk) 18:27, 31 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • The proposed target mentions C6H5, but not C6F5. If there is a mention of C6F5, then retarget. The average reader will not know that C6F5 is related to the pentafluorophenyl group. Jay (talk) 04:18, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I have revised Phenyl group#Nomenclature to include C6F5. It was previously written as F5C6, which is an uncommon way to write it. Mdewman6 (talk) 22:43, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. As unopposed deletion nomination. Jay (talk) 04:09, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

This journal isn't mentioned in the target or discussed in any other article (articles in the journal are cited in a few articles, but none of those would make a useful target). Discussion at the target talk page hasn't indicated any interest in adding a mention to the target. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 14:47, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Have not seen "Sengkang Pungool" refer to Hougang United FC. No results for that either on Google too Nigos (talk | contribs) 06:38, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Relisting comment: Note there is a hyphenated Sengkang-Punggol redirect too.

Carbon gas[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was procedural keep. Nominator appears to have socked to skew discussion and/or simply disrupt, to a sufficient extent that I don't think it would be a fair reading of consensus just to count those left over. After all, people may choose not to participate in a discussion where it appears consensus is already forming. As evidence, note the three !votes here by Thai IPs: the nominator and the two 2405:9800s. The 2405:9800s did a similar thing at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2021 December 31 § Armenians and Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2021 December 13 § Cyclon. While it's possible that the nominator is innocently caught up in abuse perpetrated by a fellow-countryperson (given that they don't geolocate perfectly together), I see that as an unlikely coincidence given their !vote after three(!) 2405:9800 !votes at the Cyclon RfD. @65.92 and @Mdewman6: Feel free to re-nominate this. (non-admin closure) -- Tamzin[cetacean needed] (she/they) 23:09, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Retarget to Carbon, as there are many forms of carbon that are gaseous, or maybe Carbon cycle. 223.207.113.226 (talk) 07:36, 23 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

But all of those are gases in their elemental state (except for iodine). There is no allotrope of carbon that is a gas. The term "carbon gas" more likely would refer to a gas containing carbon, of which there are many possibilities (see List of gases). Mdewman6 (talk) 22:18, 26 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
There is plenty of gaseous carbon in the universe. Stellar spectrums show that stars have it is plasma state of gas -- 65.92.246.142 (talk) 22:30, 26 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Zombie Jesus Day[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. plicit 11:49, 6 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

In the previous discussion, Benjamin Mako Hill added Zombie Jesus and Zombie Jesus Day to the List of Internet phenomena page. As long as that portion of the page survives, retargetting there seems like the best option. It has not survived – Master Deusoma removed it less than a year later, rendering the redirect useless. Given that nothing links to the page, and the meme is by now rather outdated as far as I’m aware, i think it should be okay to delete the redirect. (Ping A. Parrot, who also participated in the previous discussion and is still active.) Galaktos (talk) 10:06, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. I don't remember making the original nomination, even after reading the discussion, but as long as there's no redirect target, there's no point in having a redirect. A. Parrot (talk) 20:37, 30 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

    • Delete it. There is no need for the lemma with the () Arved (talk) 09:27, 7 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
