The result of the discussion was delete. signed, Rosguill talk 22:16, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Former CEO of the target subject, no longer mentioned in target. This redirect has some history from 2009 but it's a stub. Suggest deletion. – Thjarkur (talk) 19:52, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. This redirect is confusing if the subject is not mentioned. No-one at Craig Smith is Craig R. Smith. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 20:09, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. There is history here, but even if updated it wouldn't be a viable article as it is borderline A7 (I wouldn't delete it as such but it wouldn't be worth DRVing if someone else did). This is without prejudice to anyone wishing to actually write an article if they think he's notable enough (he isn't the most prominent Craig R. Smith in search results so I'm not convinced my 1 minute search was representative of what is out there about him, especially if he doesn't always use his middle initial. The result of the discussion was retarget to Harriet Hall. signed, Rosguill talk 22:16, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is a redirect to a deleted section. As Wikipedia now has no section on this subject, this redirect is useless to readers. TheAwesomeHwyh 16:00, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, I just found an article on the person who originated this quote, Harriet Hall, so this should be retargeted there. TheAwesomeHwyh 16:02, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Redirect to Pseudoscience. Hall writes for among other things, SBM, see the home page on 3rd Nov, here. QED. -Roxy the inedible dog . wooF 16:17, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is this the correct place for this to redirect to? I'm not sure that this unambiguously means "rapid" transit, maybe just transport? Or trains? TheAwesomeHwyh 15:43, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Is this a phrase that's ever used? TheAwesomeHwyh 15:29, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've never heard it, and a quick Google search doesn't turn up much. So delete unless someone can find evidence that it's used. (Please ping me if you do.) —Granger (talk · contribs) 18:28, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

History of the Democrats[edit]

Hmm, this seems like a pretty broad redirect. Maybe this should be retargeted to History of democracy? TheAwesomeHwyh 15:26, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • I think this is too ambiguous for either target. I'd say retarget to Democrat (a disambiguation page) or delete. —Granger (talk · contribs) 18:31, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to history of democracy. This is what people may be looking for. --Soumya-8974 talk contribs subpages 07:42, 4 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - In English language usage it is highly unlikely someone is searching for anything else. The American party is commonly called "The Democrats" and I doubt someone would search this looking for a history of democracy itself, potentially but unlikely they may want a history of another party listed at The Democrats but I think the current target is suitable. A7V2 (talk) 01:31, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep with a hatnote {{redirect|History of the Democrats|the history of other parties|Democrat (disambiguation)}}. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 20:23, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep with a hatnote but Democratic Party (disambiguation) (also covering parties called the Democrats) is probably a better target. Thryduulf (talk) 21:22, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ai Lao[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Ailao. signed, Rosguill talk 22:10, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

"Ai Lao" is not mentioned at Laos so a redirect there is confusing. A better target might be Lao people#Names or Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture#Ailao (or possibly the disambiguation page Ailao). Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 08:30, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This redirect is linked from the two articles mentioned, and from Trần Nhân Tông, where it was originally a piped link to Laos, which I converted into this redirect. I agree that a better target would be Dehong Dai and Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture#Ailao. Colonies Chris (talk) 11:55, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Also note there is a Lao Ai so this could be a viable option depending on Eastern vs. Western naming AngusW🐶🐶F (barksniff) 23:16, 5 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

86Box[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep. (non-admin closure) feminist (talk) | Americans, unite 07:51, 10 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

The 86Box and PCem codebases have diverged enough to make this redirect misleading and a possible source of confusion. It should be deleted in order to make way for a potentional new article about 86Box. Raito wa Kira desu (talk) 00:04, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. The current target says "A fork known as 86Box is also available" which is not confusing and tells the reader what 86Box is. The presence of this redirect does not prevent it being converted into an article, or for an article to be submitted through WP:AFC. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 08:40, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep until an 86Box article is written. --Guy Macon (talk) 18:13, 3 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
