The result of the discussion was delete. Unopposed, BDD's terrible humor aside. ~ Amory (utc) 11:09, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The word "Czech" is not present in the target article. Steel1943 (talk) 19:50, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • N.b., Czech cuisine mentions a few dishes that include mustard, but gives no indication of a specific variety that would be called this. Given the country's history, I also checked Slovak cuisine, which has no mention of mustard at all. Central European cuisine mostly just links out to individual countries' cuisine articles. Mustering (ahem) what little foreign language skills I have, I checked de:Senf, whose only mention of the Czech Republic is about the use of a certain German mustard used there. --BDD (talk) 21:23, 5 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Saul Paul[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was withdrawn and retargeted to Paul the Apostle. -- Tavix (talk) 20:22, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

No results at all stating Sean Paul went/goes by "Saul Paul", "Saul Paul" seems to be some sort of non-notable singer but as far as I can see is unrelated to Sean, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 19:21, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Paul the Apostle who was known as both "Saul" and "Paul". I can see someone trying this that knows both names are ambiguous and not knowing how else to try to find that Paul. -- Tavix (talk) 19:48, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Ah that explains why he comes up when searching "Saul Paul" - Agreed retargetting seems a better idea, No objections Tavix if you want to close and retarget - Shan't attempt myself as I'd screw it up, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 20:06, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Sure, I can do that for you. I recommend giving WP:XFDC a try if you haven't already; it makes closing XfDs very easy and almost impossible to screw up! -- Tavix (talk) 20:21, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Post close comment - Thanks so much!, Where I'm so used to the old RFD closes I seem to forget that that tool works here too now, Anyway thanks Tavix, –Davey2010Talk 22:17, 5 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Useless redirect - Move Your Body (Sean Paul Song) currently exists, The creator had created this redirect after "Move Your Body (Sean Paul Song)" so I assume it was accidental ?, No idea but anyway not needed, Thanks, –Davey2010Talk 19:12, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Unclear how this term (the redirect) refers to its target. The precise use of "architectural" is unclear, and could vaguely refer to Steel itself. Steel1943 (talk) 18:29, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete. It's a term that would be used to contrast with structural steel, but there's nothing to actually say about it. Certainly not in the target article. —Xezbeth (talk) 06:12, 5 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete I don't really understand Rich's argument, but this is just a common word, no need to redirect. Don't think wiktionary soft redirect is helpful either. ~ Amory (utc) 11:50, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Redirect to Date and time notation which discusses these topics together and describes how they are written. Mind you, the article needs work, but it seems to me to be what people are looking for. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 03:51, 7 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was keep. ~ Amory (utc) 11:12, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The connection between the redirect and its target is unclear. The redirect is not mentioned in the target article, and results on third-party search engines seem to return no results for any connection between the redirect and the target. Steel1943 (talk) 12:04, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • zsye (ZSYE) is the ISO 15924 script code for emoticons and emoji symbols. Nicole Sharp (talk) 12:16, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • From my understanding, the precedence for using ISO code-related redirects is exclusive to using an "ISO" prefix, such as ISO 15924:ZSYE or ISO 15924:Zsye. (Hmm, the latter exists.) I still question the usefulness of this without the "ISO" prefix, so I'll leave this nomination up for the time being. Steel1943 (talk) 12:22, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
      • Many other ISO language and script codes have their own redirects. You either have to keep them all or delete them all for consistency. It is much easier for people looking up ISO 15924 codes though if they can just type in the code into search without needing to prefix, for those code names that are not taken by another article already (e.g. Arab vs. ARAB). Nicole Sharp (talk) 12:30, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
    • I have updated the article for emoji to include the ISO 15924 code. The script code is important since multilingual font families will sometimes include a separate font for the zsye script. For use in HTML and CSS, the capitalization is flexible and can be spelled Zsye (Zsye) or zsye (ZSYE). Nicole Sharp (talk) 12:30, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. -- Tavix (talk) 18:39, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The connection between the redirect and the target is unclear. Perbthird party search engines, the term "short talk" refers to a "long abstract", and it's not clear what that means either. Steel1943 (talk) 11:57, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete clearly not the target. A "short talk" is a type of public address. Legacypac (talk) 18:58, 5 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete sounds like a neologism. [3] as almost all other news articles discuss giving a speech that is short. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 22:55, 5 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete (or dab to other senses) unless new info comes to light - this looks like a misunderstanding - to be "short" with someone is to be curt, and potentially rude, but does not combine with "talk" in this sense in any variety of English I am familar with. • Blue words is a circumlocution for profane language, blue is in the sense of blue laws and blue jokes. There may be other meanings to be considered. All the best: Rich Farmbrough, 07:54, 5 April 2018 (UTC).[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Teenage Angst. (non-admin closure) feminist (talk) 02:31, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The word "teen" or variants is nowhere in the target article. (However, this redirect is a {{R with history}} that looks like it was subject to a WP:BLANKANDREDIRECT in December 2005.) Steel1943 (talk) 11:44, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Keep because the redirect has so much history; I also tagged it {{R with possibilities}}. UnitedStatesian (talk) 16:42, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • The amount of history this redirect may have in no way assesses its usefulness as a redirect search term. In fact, considering that this redirect was WP:BLANKANDREDIRECT-ed over 12 years ago, I'd argue that the {{R with possibilities}} tag placed on this redirect is invalid, and a WP:REDLINK deletion may be more applicable. At the best, this content at this redirect should be restored and then the article sent to WP:AFD; the history of this redirect may be eligible for some WP:TNT. Not sure how/why these are helpful, considering that their respective times aren't described in detail in the target article. In addition, other times such as 1:01, 1:02 ... don't exist. Steel1943 (talk) 02:23, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment 24-hour clock, maybe? It has a brief table explaining all of these (whether the reader meant them as 12-hour or 24-hour times), and more generally has some discussion on the history of dividing time into hours. Can't find anything else to which these terms could refer, it's all WP:PTMs or not-quite-matches like 9 A.M. and 11 A.M. (disambiguations), 12:00 a.m. – 1:00 a.m. (an episode of 24), UTC+02:00 and UTC−02:00 (time zones), etc. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 05:47, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete These redirects were created en masse in November 2017, and haven't been used in any useful links. 24-hour clock would be more for searches for "01:00" or "15:00" and hours with a leading zero for hours under 10. If the redirects mentioned am or pm then 12-hour clock would be more appropriate. Time, Clock, Hour seem too vague but at least 12-hour and 24-hour clock articles show this kind of notation. And sending them off to Date and time notation would be a surprise. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 15:48, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete useless and pointless. If you know how to ise a clock you don't need the redirect. Legacypac (talk) 01:06, 8 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. I agree with the reasons above. Sxg169 (talk) 11:19, 11 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Numeral system. ~ Amory (utc) 03:13, 13 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Delete per WP:XY; Numeral is not a redirect towards Number, and thus represents different subjects. Steel1943 (talk) 02:17, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Numeral system, as this article explains the (somewhat intricate) relationship between the two concepts. All the best: Rich Farmbrough, 08:30, 5 April 2018 (UTC).[reply]

Delete. Do we really have redirects from reality show contestants to the reality show on which they competed? VERY unlikely search term. UnitedStatesian (talk) 01:29, 4 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
