One of the subtopics in the target article is a family with the surname Younger, but I'm not sure if that warrants this redirect targeting its current target, a novel.   • Weak disambiguate. I'm not so sure there's a primary topic between the gang and the Raisin in the Sun family. My cursory search seems to give an slight edge to Raisin. There's a section at William Younger (brewery) on a Younger family as well. “Κατάδουπα” refers not to this city but to the first cataract far downstream, or to cataracts in general. It could be retargeted to Waterfall or to Cataracts of the Nile, but as neither of those does or should mention this term, I suggest deletion. Gorobay (talk) 13:09, 28 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Cataracts of the Nile since a user's search is more likely to be for that specific use (eg from texts about the work of Herodotus) rather than catadupa or waterfalls in general. Wadi Halfa might well be the modern-day nearest populated location but the article isn't helpful. Cataracts of the Nile does say "The word cataract is a Greek word..." so I've edited it to add the Greek word. Voilà (as they say in Greece and Egypt).     • “Κατάδουπα” does not correspond to “cataract” but to “catadupa”, so that edit was wrong. In general, I think it is inappropriate to edit an article to save a redirect; edits should be made on their merits, regardless of any redirects. Gorobay (talk) 01:34, 1 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Ohhh right OK sorry. And you're right, there are two possible targets. OK, Retarget to Lily of the Valley. This is the primary subject for "Lily of the Valley" (and properly it looks like) and of the plural "Lillies of the Valley", the few instances (poem, songs, islands, egg) only the egg is bluelinked. Not a plausible search term. Was created on the assumption that a song by Chuck Girard was the same as Rock and Roll Preacher by Slade. Removal of speedy was unexplained. While redirects are cheap, this is not necessary. Walter Görlitz (talk) 01:28, 9 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

All my searches indicate that the Slade song is the primary topic for all variations of "Rock 'N' Roll Preacher", "Rock and Roll Preacher", "Rock'n'Roll Preacher", etc. when searched as an exact phrase with Wikipedia excluded.
