The result of the discussion was retarget Polonium 218 to Isotopes of polonium, delete Poloium 210. -- Tavix (talk) 20:08, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Should Redirect to the more specific Isotopes of polonium. The second, however, is misspelled, and Poloium does not exist. 165.91.13.60 (talk) 23:45, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Super calloused fragile mystic hexed by halitosis[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep first, delete second. -- Tavix (talk) 19:58, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The first is one of those bizarre phonetic redirects, like Toe Knee Gore Don. I might send this to WP:DAFT if deleted. The second is the only redirect to Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious in all caps, and it’s misspelled. See also Special:WhatLinksHere/Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis, which has a correctly spelled all-caps redirect:
Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious
SUPERCALAFRAGILISTICEXPIALADOCIOUS

Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis
PNEUMONOULTRAMICROSCOPICSILICOVOLCANOCONIOSIS
A lot of the other redirects to this article and Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis are sometimes questionable misspellings of the full words, and similar redirects exist at other articles about long words. You may nominate those here or separately. 165.91.13.60 (talk) 23:23, 13 December 2017 (UTC)}[reply]

The second misspelled SUPERCALI can be deleted, but the first one isn't just a bizarre phonetic thing, it's a reference to a joke in which that's the punchline. I wouldn't delete the first "Super calloused" one. Paintspot Infez (talk) 23:31, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep first, delete second, pun is explained in the article. All caps version is not useful, especially if spelled incorrectly. AngusWOOF (barksniff) 02:50, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Not a plausible typo for WP:SPAMHOLE. 165.91.13.60 (talk) 22:28, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. No prejudice against recreation if the section CWM described is created. -- Tavix (talk) 19:41, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

A redirect to a DAB page with no relevant entry. Propose deletion to encourage article creation. Narky Blert (talk) 18:23, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment - A 'powerpack assembly' might be a topic that's best discussed in a section within a broader article. Maybe the information belongs somewhere in Rocket_engine#Principle_of_operation? The term appears to be just "a subset of the total engine: [s]pecifically, it is the engine minus the thrust chamber assembly (i.e., the main injector, main combustion chamber, and nozzle/nozzle extension)." CoffeeWithMarkets (talk) 02:18, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
{{R to section}} would certainly work for me if someone feels like writing such a section. It's a topic I know nothing about, Narky Blert (talk) 20:26, 17 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Marcus Belby[edit]

The result of the discussion was delete. -- Tavix (talk) 19:40, 23 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Redirect was CSD'ed by 95.234.102.81 because it redirects to the "B" section of the list of Harry Potter characters where this character is not even mentioned, which is not a valid CSD criteria but I'm sending it to RfD instead. Ben · Salvidrim!  17:03, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, now that it is pointed out, an appropriate entry for the target might be created. However, Marcus Belby is a very minor character in the Harry Potter series, and may or may not be worthy of inclusion in the list of hp characters. I'd be interested to see what comes out of it, one way or another. 95.234.102.81 (talk) 13:21, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Las Vegas Aces (basketball)[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep , noting that the redirect has already been retargeted to Las Vegas Aces, the WNBA team. (non-admin closure) feminist (talk) 03:46, 22 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The redirect should be deleted as the disambiguator is too non-specific with the recent creation of the WNBA's Las Vegas Aces (WNBA), which is also a basketball team. Yosemiter (talk) 16:20, 13 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • If there's a primary topic among the basketball teams, I feel it would make sense to redirect it to that primary topic. A hatnote would be in place to guide readers to the other team should that be what they're looking for. As a longstanding article title for one of the teams, I do not think deletion would be wise due to link rot. -- Tavix (talk) 14:26, 14 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
  • Probably fine, it is not a unreasonable search term. It should be noted that currently nothing links to Las Vegas Aces (basketball) and as a defunct team, it is unlikely to be linked to again. (As the WNBA will be the primary topic, with a hatnote for the former ABA team, having (basketball) as a disambiguator seems like it would be unlikely to occur as a form of link, but that would just be an observational opinion.)
