Bichipedia[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. Just Chilling (talk) 01:00, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Delete per WP:RFD#D8: "if a redirect is a novel or very obscure synonym for an article name, it is unlikely to be useful." It also has the potential for harm due to it being similar to "bitchipedia." -- Tavix (talk) 23:27, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of the debate. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page.

Imperfectionists[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget Imperfectionists to Perfectionism; delete the other two. Deryck C. 12:56, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Delete as confusing due to it not being mentioned at the target article. Someone searching for this would be disappointed as there isn't any information about the film. -- Tavix (talk) 23:16, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • I was thinking the same thing. In case it helps, neither Wiktionary nor M-W have an entry for "imperfectionist". -- Tavix (talk) 17:42, 13 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete, unopposed. Deryck C. 12:55, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Delete per WP:RTYPO. Too many typos to be a plausible search term. -- Tavix (talk) 22:02, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This looks like this was created as a joke. Delete as confusing because it's not mentioned anywhere. -- Tavix (talk) 21:10, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Football (real)[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. Just Chilling (talk) 01:05, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete as a WP:POV violation. It implies that one code of football is "real" and all the others are "fake". -- Tavix (talk) 20:32, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Note: This discussion has been included in WikiProject Football's list of association football-related deletions. --BDD (talk) 16:25, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - as nonsense. GiantSnowman 17:50, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - simply not a term that is used to describe association football. Fenix down (talk) 08:02, 16 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Golden-Eyed Shark[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. Just Chilling (talk) 01:07, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not seeing any sharks known as the "golden-eyed shark". -- Tavix (talk) 18:33, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - this does not seem to be a real species of shark; Google just returns Wikipedia mirrors. There is a smalleye hammerhead which is also known as the golden hammerhead, but not "golden eye". Ivanvector 🍁 (talk) 15:07, 13 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. Just Chilling (talk) 01:08, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Delete per WP:RFD#D8: death has no particular affinity to Sanskrit. -- Tavix (talk) 18:30, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment just to clarify, I'm still fine with deleting this redirect. --Lenticel (talk) 00:53, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete "Mrityu" WP:NOTDIC Wikipedia is not a translation dictionary; general topic with no particular affinity for any language. -- 67.70.32.20 (talk) 07:34, 13 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Muerta[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was disambiguate. Looking at the suggested options, I'm going to point the redirect to DAB Muerto and expand it, but if anyone disagrees, feel free to turn Muerta into a disambiguation page in its own right, or point it to a more appropriate disambiguation page... Deryck C. 11:11, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Delete per WP:RFD#D8: death has no particular affinity to Spanish. -- Tavix (talk) 18:30, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Lenticel: I wasn't sure if your comment implied that you were fine with deleting both or the delete comment was specifically for "Mrityu". If you could clarify, I'd appreciate it. -- Tavix (talk) 17:32, 13 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'll remove my vote. Anon has a better case below. --Lenticel (talk) 00:40, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment I split this out so we can discuss "Muerta" without distraction. I'd be fine with retargeting/disambiguating if there are any targets known as "Muerta," but I'm not seeing that. I see plenty of WP:PTMs which make me think that search results would be best. -- Tavix (talk) 17:32, 13 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Delete as confusing. You can have a "negative" patient care outcome that isn't death. -- Tavix (talk) 18:23, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

William I of the United Kingdom[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete all. Just Chilling (talk) 01:14, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I don't see him called "William I" in the article, and this seems like it would cause confusion with William I the Conqueror of England or William I the Lion of Scotland. I think we should delete them. Compassionate727 (talk) 17:08, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete all - the Kingdom of Great Britain didn't exist until a few years after William III's death; the United Kingdom took nearly another century. The first William to rule the UK was William IV, who was never known as William I. The titles in the redirects are nonsense. Ivanvector 🍁 (talk) 12:52, 13 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete all - there's no differential numbering in the UK. The current queen is Elizabeth II, not Elizabeth I of Scotland. Bazj (talk) 06:36, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment - the first listed redir is spelt wrong anyway, even further reducing the chances of anyone ever using it -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 19:46, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
