Zweden[edit]

The result of the discussion was keep. It seems that we think {{R from typo}} wins over WP:FORRED here. Deryck C. 12:51, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is a strange redirect, I don't find it particularly useful. I say to delete it. Compassionate727 (talk) 19:18, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

As the creator of the redirect my verdict is do so if you want to. However, it is the Dutch name and is a fellow North Germanic name for the country that is closely related. However, if there is no use well that is that I suppose. Not that I really mind. Lommaren (talk) 21:46, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Leniency[edit]

The result of the discussion was no consensus, default to keep. Deryck C. 12:52, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Don't we have a better target to point this towards? If not, this topic or a similar one ought to be created. Leniency and mercy aren't the same thing. Mr. Guye (talk) 23:37, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

@Mr. Guye: The easy way to fix this is to write an article on leniency. Schwede66 00:59, 5 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment Lenient also redirects to Mercy -- 67.70.32.20 (talk) 03:27, 5 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. This is what I call "close enough" (close enough for dictionaries to render them synonyms...). -- Tavix (talk) 18:08, 6 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Please add new comments below this notice. Thanks, Deryck C. 09:40, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep plausible synonym. --Lenticel (talk) 07:24, 13 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • delete Leniency is not a synonym for mercy, though mercy can be the intent of leniency. If someone can come up with a better target relating to the enforcements of laws/rules, I'm happy to go with that. But mercy is definitely the wrong target. Mangoe (talk) 12:38, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Mole-Dagbon[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was boldly closing as retarget to Mole-Dagbon people, given that "X people" seems to be the standard naming for ethnics articles. - Nabla (talk) 12:00, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Mole-Dagbon is a meta-ethnic group and not synonymous with Oti volta languages. I'm actually starting a page on Mole-Dagbon people —M@sssly 14:08, 4 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

then why the deletion request? Just change it to point to your new article. dab (𒁳) 07:52, 5 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.
Relisting comment: @Masssly: Do you mean you're planning to write a userspace draft and need to move page over redirect? In that case any admin can do it for you without needing an RfD. Deryck C. 09:39, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Mandy Lee[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was procedural close. Page is no longer a redirect. Jackmcbarn (talk) 18:02, 19 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure this redirect should exist, as it appears that Miss Cho has never actually been credited under this name. Erpert blah, blah, blah... 08:00, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't notify the creator because s/he hasn't edited since 2010. Erpert blah, blah, blah... 08:03, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget to the band MisterWives, whose lead singer is actually named Mandy Lee (unlike the current target). Don't see any other plausible targets. 58.176.246.42 (talk) 19:20, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment there appears to be two songs called "Mandy Lee" also, documented at Kevin Coyne (1969) and Arthur Collins (singer) (1899) -- 67.70.32.20 (talk) 09:46, 12 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    • Maybe it should be converted to a disambiguation page then? Erpert blah, blah, blah... 07:14, 13 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
      • I added a draft disambiguation below the RFD template on Mandy Lee. Though, is there any policy either way on dab pages which consist solely of WP:DABMENTIONs and no actual article with that title? 58.176.246.42 (talk) 03:09, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep as dab Mandy Cho is not and does not seem to have ever been called 'Mandy Lee' as a personal name. There are no policies on whether a dab page need consist of articles, just as long as they are all valid entries, and there are many valid entries for this page. Boleyn (talk) 11:43, 14 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
    • I tweaked the disambig page a bit (the final entry wasn't necessary, imo). If we all agree that a disambig page indeed suits the situation better, we can just close this thread. Erpert blah, blah, blah... 00:21, 15 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was speedy delete per A11 by RHaworth. (non-admin closure) Erpert blah, blah, blah... 23:33, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Fictional character that is also WP:MADEUP. There is no appropriate target as there is no such character. Reach Out to the Truth 00:49, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy delete per A11; tagged as such. It doesn't help that the creator's only edit (back in 2009) was this redirect. Erpert blah, blah, blah... 08:07, 11 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
