Environment of Korea[edit]
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- The result of the discussion was procedural close as now out of scope as converted to an article. NAC. The Whispering Wind (talk) 01:09, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
- Environment of Korea → Environment of South Korea (links to redirect • history • stats) [ Closure: keep/delete ]
This should be a disambig page. GZWDer (talk) 16:51, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
Keep for now: there is no article about environment of North Korea, and, given the level of transparency of information about North Korea, I wouldn't expect it any time soon. I also suggest adding a note to this redirect that it should be disambiguated once appropriate article about North Korea is created. — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk•track) 17:34, 17 June 2014 (UTC)- Disambiguate between Environmental issues in North Korea and Environment of South Korea. Nice find, GZWDer. — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk•track) 07:58, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
- Keep per Dmitrij. It would be nice if this could eventually become an article about the environment of the entire Korean Peninsula, with subsections summarizing the two country-specific articles. Neelix (talk) 20:45, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- @Czarkoff and Neelix: Why not create a disambig page with one red link?--GZWDer (talk) 06:56, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
- I found Environmental issues in North Korea exists and Environmental issues in South Korea redirect to Environment of South Korea. Probably Environment of North Korea should be redirected to Environmental issues in North Korea.--GZWDer (talk) 06:58, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
- Thanks, GZWDer! It seems incongruous to me to have the South Korean environmental article using an "Environment of..." title format while having the North Korean environmental article using an "Environmental issues in..." title format, so I moved the North Korean environmental article to the "Environment of..." format and and expanded the general redirect into a parent article for both of these. Neelix (talk) 11:18, 18 June 2014 (UTC)
- disambiguate per now bluelinked pagenames. -- 65.94.171.126 (talk) 05:03, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

Marriage in Korea[edit]
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- The result of the discussion was keep. At present there is nothing to disambiguate and this redirect provides a useful search aid to the article we currently have. NAC. The Whispering Wind (talk) 00:45, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
- Marriage in Korea → Marriage in South Korea (links to redirect • history • stats) [ Closure: keep/delete ]
This should be a disambig page. GZWDer (talk) 16:49, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- Keep for now: there is no article on marriage in North Korea. — Dmitrij D. Czarkoff (talk•track) 17:37, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- When an article on marriage in North Korea exists, let me know and I will change my vote accordingly. For now, keep.--Launchballer 18:41, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- Keep for now. It could be a good dab page once the North Korean counterpart is developed.--Lenticel (talk) 00:52, 18 June 2014 (UTC)

- The result of the discussion was disambiguate. A draft disamb page has been provided, under the redirect, that will be created. NAC. The Whispering Wind (talk) 00:57, 24 June 2014 (UTC)
- Pertemps → Copycat crime (links to redirect • history • stats) [ Closure: keep/delete ]
Delete because Copycat crime is unrelated to the word pertemps. Paulusthewalrus (talk) 13:05, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- Disambiguate Drafted under the redirect. Ego White Tray (talk) 15:03, 17 June 2014 (UTC)

Chilly climate[edit]
- The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
- Chilly climate → wiktionary:Special:Search/chilly climate (links to redirect • history • stats) [ Closure: keep/delete ]
I really don't think we need a soft redirect to wiktionary for every newly created combination of two common words. Fram (talk) 08:12, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- One of the given definitions is "A male-dominated environment where both overt and subtle forms of discrimination lead to the unequal treatment of women" - so I'm wondering about a possible retarget to misogyny or sexual harassment?
- Comment: This is a plausible search term. Chilly climate was coined back in 1982 by Roberta Hall and Bernice Sandler. It has been used in academia since and there is probably enough sourcing out there for a full-fledged article, so I've added a {{R with possibilities}}. A redirect to sexism in academia might make sense here if we don't want a soft direct to the wiktionary definition. gobonobo + c 16:17, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- delete The notion of a chilly social climate can be traced at least back to the late 1800s, which was the first hit I got on the phrase going back in time. It's an obvious metaphor and can hardly be said to have been coined so late as the 1980s. There are also, of course, dozens upon dozens of literal uses of the phrase. I cannot see a single target for this. Mangoe (talk) 02:01, 19 June 2014 (UTC)
- Delete. Makes more sense for this to be deleted per WP:REDLINK than kept and tagged with {{R with possibilities}}. Promoting article creation is better accomplished by freeing the article name, not having it a redirect to the Wiktionary. Steel1943 (talk) 16:26, 19 June 2014 (UTC)

This name for an Iraqi militant group has zero Google hits and cannot be verified. Probably trying to refer to Hilf al-Mutayibeen. Technophant (talk) 04:42, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
- Update: I withdrawn this nom. This appears to be a rare alternate spelling. - Technophant (talk) 11:51, 17 June 2014 (UTC)
