Clearing COI edit backlog by addressing the oldest requests first[edit]

Does anyone know why the "Tagged since" column entries on Category:Wikipedia conflict of interest edit requests are different (usually more recent) than the date the edit request was made? I want to address the oldest requests to help clear the backlog. As an example, Alfa Laval's request was posted in December 2021, yet it says "Tagged since May 15 2022". Indeed, most of the Tagged since dates say May 15 2022, despite the requests not being all date stamped with that date. Perhaps the system updated them accidentally? I can also ask at the pump if this is too technical. And when this is cleared up, I'm going to see if I can get some of the COI detectives to help with the backlog, since that will encourage company employees and others with a COI to use this process. What happened on May 15 2022 was that the category was renamed from Category:Wikipedia edit requests to Category:Wikipedia conflict of interest edit requests per Wikipedia:Categories for discussion/Log/2022 April 9#Category:Wikipedia requested edits, which apparently reset the timestamps of everything. The oldest requests as of May 15, 2022 (before the rename) can be seen here. I'm honestly surprised, as the person who did most of the technical work implementing that decision, that nobody has yelled about this until now. * Pppery * _{it has begun...} 00:38, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Request for changing categories[edit]

Could you explain which categories are wrong? The categories on a talk page of an article are mostly determined by what WikiProjects are added (Pakistan was added twice, now only once), and those seem accurate. Femke (talk) 14:32, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, because it's categories are as unknown important articles and unassessed important articles . So I think they should changed and also it's class,If and only article is able to. And may you please also review this article to find it's mistakes and to correct them. Missing (?) anatomy article[edit]

I was trying to look up the anatomical term Sac but did not find a basic article on that topic. The Sac DAB page has a "Biology" subheading with many articles about topics such as vocal sac, ink sac, etc. but not plain old "sac" itself. Is there a reason for this? It's presumably because there would be little to say about the term other than to give a definition, and Wikipedia is not a dictionary. The definition is given in Wiktionary. Deor (talk) 15:21, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Sources collecting / Further reading[edit]

What is the best way to "collect sources" such as all related and reliable articles from websites? I can use browser bookmarks or user space but my idea is to have a list of sources close to article to use not just by myself but others as well. Personally I don't like "Further reading" section in the article and it can list only few works due to limited space. Is this a good idea to add "Further reading" section at the top of talk page? Maybe Talk:Article example/Sources is better idea (I assume it's less noticeable and may be missed)? What is the best way to arrange such list? Chronological order and division by language or website? It would be helpful especially if Google search not show up all results anymore and search is a lottery by algorithms or page is deleted (in some cases without link you can't find the article in Wayback Machine especially if website has more than 10,000 pages - you can't search in archived version inside of Wayback Machine). It's similar idea to "Reliable sources" section of wikiprojects just more detailed with direct links to articles stick to article/group of articles. Eurohunter (talk) 14:14, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Which is, what is the E-Address for purchase/downloads, for the HTML you utilize for Wikipedia Encyclopedia.[edit]

Greetings ...!!! I have been constructing what now has become a huge "encyclopedia-like," website, about "condominiums," in Puerto Rico.

Up to now, I have been utilizing the "DreamWeaver," software by Adobe. However ..., my "WebSite," has become "HUGE."

I believe that the software that "you people," use in constructing/developing, and publishing the Wikipedia Encyclopedia, could help me to better continue constructing, and/or managing my huge "WebSite."

But it's Wiki software, not an HTML editor. If you want to structure your information as a Wiki, it's ideal; but if you want to do something else, it may not suit your needs. ColinFine (talk) 16:39, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, this is my first time merging pages. I copied and revised the content from this stub page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pinnacle_Armor) to another page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dragon_Skin). I attempted to follow the guide, but I don't think I successfully set up the redirect.

@Pizzarush: It looks like you tried to insert the wikitext (article source code) for making a redirect using the visual editor. That doesn't work – wikitext can only be inserted using the source editor. I've fixed the page. Rummskartoffel 22:10, 4 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]
