Does not meet notability criteria for WP:GNG or WP:NBIO. Google search for the name "Karen Lile" comes up with fewer than 100 results, none are reliable sources discussing the subject significantly. ... discospinster talk 19:16, 25 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Given the large number of secondary sources which mention her, it seems to me she meets notability requirements.--Ipigott (talk) 08:48, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete, per nom. Karen Earle Lile is barely mentioned in the supposedly extensive coverage cited above, much of which seems to be completely irrelevant to the topic at hand. Zacwill (talk) 20:16, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment: To Zacwill and Onel5969: The references you used to dismiss notability, were actually not even in the article itself. They were included for this deletion page merely to support my statement that Lile was a female in male dominated industries. The articles were not intended to be about Lile specifically, but rather to show that these industries are acknowledged as being male dominated, because I made a statement that she is a prominent female in 4 industries that are primarily male dominated. But, since the major objection is notability, it is fine not to consider the point about her gender, since Lile is featured prominently in many of the newspapers, magazines, and in prime time news as listed in the article and mentioned again below in the references I have included and that be should be enough, regardless of her gender, to meet notability requirements of Wikipedia. Below are references in the actual article itself Karen Earle Lile that were entirely focused on her work. Please see examples in the references I mention below. There are more references that are entirely about Lile and Bean, over the years, but my understanding is that it is not appropriate to include too many references in the article, when a few will do. I have seen these articles myself through library and microfilm and in some cases ordered copies from the publisher or obtained a used copy of a journal.
1. These articles were about the Classical Music Video Lile produced for which she was nominated for an ACE Award. Included were two major newspapers on both coasts, with the subject prominently featured: Ulrich, Alan (23 July 1986). "Get Ready for Chopin on Video". Article. San Francisco Examiner.. San Francisco Examiner and Brown, Steven (24 July 1986). "Roll over, Chopin - music video takes cue from MTV". Article. The Orlando Sentinel. Orlando Sentinel
2. She had 4 articles about her work in this magazine insert inside the Contra Costa Times: "Health and Safety Today". Contra Costa Newspapers. 26 Oct 1996. This was an entire magazine inside the newspaper devoted to an event she co-produced and with several articles inside about Lile’s work specifically. Now know as East Bay Times
December 2018 Music Trades Magazine, opened to Industry Forefront article about Karen Earle Lile as Executive Producer of benefit album featuring Grammy Winners in the last two weeks before Fantasy Studios closed, on a marble table top.

3. Here is an online article entirely about her work as the producer/art director for the USPS Building Bridges Special Postal Cancellation Series: Mary Corbin, Tracey Taylor. "Post Office marks 70 years of music recording in Berkeley with special postmark". USPS. Berkeleyside Newspaper on 16 Nov 2018. Berkeleyside
4. This article was a major headline in the People in Business Section of the San Francisco Chronicle: Watson, Lloyd (11 March 1991). "Brokering Pianos – An East Bay Specialty". San Francisco Chronicle. .
5. Her Classical Music video was in prime time news on KGO-TV and Magazine, Entertainment (1 July 186). "Entertainment Magazine". TV Magazine. KSL TV. KSL TV. Retrieved 1 Jan 2012. KSL-TV.
6. I obtained a copy of this magazine from the publisher, and the article was about her work, prominently featured in a Global edition in the Forefront section. This is a recent article and fills three full pages in a journal that only has a few articles per issue that fill that much space. "One-of-a-Kind Recording Project Fills Fantasy Studios: Karen Lile, an independent executive producer and co-owner of Piano Finders brings together Grammy winners and top producers for one special benefit album". Music Trades Magazine. Published continuously since 1890 (The Global Issue): 40–42. December 2018.. The Music Trades (magazine)
7. There were also many articles that had photos of Lile and Bean, one of which featured their photo as the front page of the Time Out Entertainment magazine titled "New Life for Old Keys in 1990, Contra Costa Times. Added to Article: I did some more research and added a section in article about Lile's role and major coverage as a whistle blower. See the section Community Service. Here are two references:Lile and Bean story prominently featured in Dan Rather's 48 Hours (TV program) Rather, Dan (15 October 1998). "48 Hours feature on Lile-Bean Family".
