The result was redirect‎ to 2023–24 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Consensus is split between the need to merge info and whether what's there is sufficient. Obvious Keep: Absolutely bogus claim that the content is already on that article. The parent article only contains the points tables, and mainly links to the respective groups articles for the match scorecards, which is surely necessary. Since there are a lot of matches in the league, it would excessively increase the article size if separate groups articles were not created. See WP:SS and WP:SUMMARYHATNOTE. Thanks for linking to those guidelines they're useful but I don't think they really apply to this case. Instead of redirecting why not just merge them into one easy to read article like this 2015–16 Ulster Rugby season. The other group articles for other years lack any real substance they just contain basic information about what happened and external links to ESPN. Merge to 2023–24 Vijay Hazare Trophy. It's an unnecessary WP:CFORK to have separate articles for each group, when the extra information like fixtures could just be added to the main season article. This is what we do for most other domestic cricket tournaments e.g. 2023 County Championship has all fixtures listed in main article, not 2 separate articles for each group/division. Agree with Joseph2302. I looked in the respective articles, the only information that the articles contain that is not contained in the general one are various notes on the matches, definitely not requiring a separate piece. I think they should be Redirected--deletion seems too harsh, and redirection is more useful to users. AriTheHorse^{talk to me!} 02:28, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Merge. I don't think the groups are important enough to have their own articles. A summary of each in the parent article will suffice.
