Hit enter by accident, supposed to be moved to HV & CV Quick Sb008 (talk) 22:07, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep. Harmless redirect. --Stay safe, PRAHLADbalaji (M•T•AC) This message was left at 22:41, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    It's wrong, either "H.V. & C.V." or "HV & CV", but not "HV & C.V." or "H.V. & CV". Nothing to do with staying safe. --Sb008 (talk) 01:14, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Stay safe is an automatic part of Prahlad balaji's signature. J947 [cont] 02:14, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Sb008, please read RHARMFUL and K4. If a reader searches this {{R from incorrect name}} up, they are highly helped by being automatically targeted to the page they are looking for. What is to be gained by deleting this redirect? J947 [cont] 02:14, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep - It may not be exactly correct, but it's a reasonable error, and it will help users find the page. Hog Farm (talk) 04:06, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

O-glcnac[edit]

The result of the discussion was keep. (non-admin closure) ComplexRational (talk) 15:04, 8 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This page used to be used as a redirect from "O-glcnac" to "O-linked ß-N-acetyl-glucosamine", which has since been moved to "O-GlcNAc". As "O-glcnac" is just a variant of "O-GlcNAc" capitalization, there is no reason to keep this redirect and it should be deleted. Scheng23 (talk) 07:41, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

British Rail Class 804[edit]

Propose deletion, there was never any official confirmation that the class would be classified as the Class 804. None of the cites provided when the article was established mentioned the 804 classification, so does appear dubious at best. Article was renamed British Rail Class 810 when a reliable cite confirming the classification was published creating the direct. Meirtout (talk) 06:43, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Almost certainly a hoax. See the most developed form of the article that use to exist at this title - [1]. I've seen the movie referenced, and there's no such scenes or cousin-lover plotline in it. Google searches bring up nothing about this "character", and other characters mentioned in the article, such as the teacher, don't bring up anything on Google either. Several attempts to add this character to Greg Heffley in the past, including several indeffed editors and the creator of this article. This is almost certainly a hoax. Not mentioned at the target, searching online did not return results suggesting that these names are equivalent. Delete unless a justification can be provided. signed, Rosguill talk 19:41, 21 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: Rosguill, I checked the article on the same topic in the Chinese Wikipedia. It seems Xiao En is the mandarin transliteration of 萧恩, which (according to that article) is the pseudonym (化名) of Ruan Xiaoqi. It is true the term Xiao En returns few (if any) results in English, but the Chinese term 萧恩 is mentioned in a few sources to refer to Ruan Xiaoqi: 1, 2. Not voting though as I am not too familiar with the protocol at RfDs (I'm more into AfDs), but as a Chinese speaker, I thought this might me a piece of useful information for you (or other editors) to decide the fate of this redirect. --Dps04 (talk) 19:40, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Dps04, that's a good enough argument to keep to sway me. I'll leave this open until the 7-day period has elapsed in case anyone else familiar with Chinese wants to weigh in, but I'm ok with this being closed as keep if no one does. signed, Rosguill talk 19:51, 27 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've added relevant information to the article, following the Chinese Wikipedia article's example. Deryck C. 20:05, 29 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]
    • Actually, on second thoughts, delete. Special:Search/"Xiao En"~ revealed that not only is this fictional character 蕭恩 mentioned across multiple articles of partially overlapping fictional universes, there is also a marginally notable Malaysian charity named Xiao En 孝恩 which is mentioned in multiple articles. And then there are multiple people with given name "Xiao En" / "Xiao'en". Delete to reveal search results. Deryckchan (talk) 03:30, 31 May 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Longest sea beach in the world[edit]

Previous RfDs for this redirect and similar redirects:

Here's another one recreated after Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2017 December 13#Xest Y. It's not the longest beach, that belongs to Praia do Cassino. "Sea beach" doesn't have a formal definition, but I would take it to mean "a beach on the sea". Well, it's on the Bay of Bengal...which is a bay. -- Tavix (talk) 01:27, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete per nom. Who said it's the longest? --Stay safe, PRAHLADbalaji (M•T•AC) This message was left at 22:40, 1 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Prahlad balaji: You can find sources calling Cox's Bazar the longest beach: here is a BBC article documenting Bangladesh's government using this as an international tourist campaign. -- Tavix (talk) 14:53, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Tavix But as you stated above, there is no formal definition for "sea beach". --Stay safe, PRAHLADbalaji (M•T•AC) This message was left at 14:55, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Okay? That's a completely different point than your question "Who said it's the longest?", which is what I was responding to. -- Tavix (talk) 15:14, 2 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete unless there unambiguously is a longest sea beach (which is a tougher call because coastlines are continuous and constantly changing), and even then it's not exactly a likely record that would be searched, and could open the door to many more redirects of the "Xest Y" sort.
