A fictional battle that receives glancing mention in the article (and only in the context of spinoff video games), this redirect title could conceivably impair people looking for Battle of Fallujah. signed, Rosguill talk 18:26, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Biobag[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was speedy keep. Withdrawing nomination as an editor has provided justification with sources. If an article about the company BioBag is ever created this may need disambiguation down the road, but for now the redirect is fine. (non-admin closure) signed, Rosguill talk 20:48, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in the target, searching online would led me to discover that BioBag is the name of a biodegradable materials company. I would lean toward deletion, but could also see an argument for redirecting to Biodegradable plastic signed, Rosguill talk 18:23, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Here's an article about the biobag: https://jme.bmj.com/content/44/11/751 It's also discussed here: https://www.nature.com/articles/ncomms15112 (from which the second image of the Wikipedia article comes from) The RedBurn (ϕ) 20:27, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was keep. (non-admin closure) feminist (talk) 09:15, 12 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - the all caps make it an unlikely redirect. ZXCVBNM (TALK) 12:41, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak keep, as this does not seem like a harmful redirect. Also, the article on the series was apparently created at this title prior to being moved in 2006, so deletion could break older external links. Geolodus (talk) 20:09, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • It only gets a few hits a month, so I doubt there are any older links going to it, at least ones that are widely used at all. While not harmful, it's of dubious usefulness also.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 12:03, 6 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Unclear what the disambiguator "(generally)" is meant to refer to, or how its use as a disambiguator makes it a likely search term. Steel1943 (talk) 06:11, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete Confusing, unlikely search term. - CHAMPION (talk) (contributions) (logs) 09:22, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete Doesn't make any sense as a disambiguation.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 12:13, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete - as far as I can see, the page "Goods (generally)" was [created as a move of the Good (economics) following the a round-robin move which swapped Good (economics) and Goods. It is unclear to me why such a move needed to be made, and I have now restored that page with history back to the Good (economics) location, where it best belongs. The "generally" page is therefore just a copy of an old redirect that used to be somewhere else, and serves no purpose. Thanks  — Amakuru (talk) 16:07, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Amakuru: "...and I have now restored that page with history back to the Good (economics) location, where it best belongs..." What brought you to that conclusion? I explained why I moved the edit history to Goods (disambiguation) in my edit summary when I moved it there ... since the page included history as a disambiguation page. So, if there are two subjects there, rather than reverting what I did and leaving the history broken, split the history and don't leave the wrong edit history in the wrong place, rather than reverting what I did. See here where the history contained a disambiguation page, and literally the next edit that completely changed that situation, which seems to be the "Goods (economics)" you are referring to. Thanks. Steel1943 (talk)
@Steel1943: OK apologies, I thought the page had some substantive history as an article, which was the reason why it was moved to Goods (generally) in the first place. In fact, there doesn't seem to be any useful content there, and none that it used in any merged articles, so I have split out the parts of the history from when it was a disambiguation page, as you suggest, and moved those back to Goods (disambiguation). Good (economics) is now a newly created redirect. If you see anything else amiss, please let me know.  — Amakuru (talk) 08:33, 4 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was procedural close. Redirect has been converted to an article. (Nice work!) --BDD (talk) 20:32, 11 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Top 100 is just one of 5 new charts by RS, including the Top 200 for albums. JTtheOG (talk) 02:28, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I created the redirect and have no objection to changing it to lead to the 100 Chart as opposed to the Rolling Stone Magazine page. Probably could been done without a discussion as I don't believe there would be any objection from others. --CNMall41 (talk) 02:45, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
And to clarify, the name should not be deleted just because there are individual charts. That's like deleting Billboard charts because here is a Billboard 200 page. There are a total of five charts so not sure if they really need individual pages. --CNMall41 (talk) 02:47, 3 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Makes sense to me. The Top 100 and Top 200 are mainly sourced to RS anyways. Most of the available references talk about the charts as a whole. It would likely be better to merge everything into the Charts page until such time the individual charts receive more coverage. --CNMall41 (talk) 00:36, 5 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
