thanks[edit]

hey, thanks, i know u deleted some of my articles i wrote, but they were actually for a project. thanks for deleting them, because they had no relation to whatsoever wikipedia's standards are, and what it expects. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Edgardegasfrancais (talkcontribs)

I actually didn't delete the articles, as I'm not an administrator. I only nominated them for deletion. An admin deleted them, meaning that at least one other editor agreed with my assessment. I'm not sure what type of project you were working on, but if it was a school project, you and your professor should read WP:SUP to get an idea of constructive ways to use Wikipedia within the learning environment. What is your problem with professionals?[edit]

I'm reading this mostly spammy 'data recovery' section in wikipedia, and I was trying - not to fix, but at least to add something new and valuable to readers about their problem with hard drives.

As data recovery specialist, I had lot's of ruined data media. Just because people don't know simple knowledge about data recovery.

But somehow you decided it was a spam.

I don't know how it's possible to contribute articles about data recovery FROM PROFESSIONALS, without shoing link to source, it will violete you know what. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.234.61.121 (talk) 19:31, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The difference between your addition and the other links to recovery software is that the other links were internal WikiLinks, indicating that the links were to articles that (presumably) have passed the Wikipedia test for neutrality and notability. The addition of EXTERNAL links (as you did) is generally seen as spam. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 19:39, 25 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Contesting Gracie Javid's Speedy Deletion[edit]

Did you see the template saying that this article is in the middle of a revamping? It is unbelieveable that someone would nominate a page under construction for Speedy Deletion. I've NEVER seen anything so obsurd. Now, if this is incorrect (the article right now is under A7, I know, it meets the criteria), and the article isn't changed, then I agree with you. Until then, could you please take the template down? Leave me a message here if you disagree.

This same message is also at Gracie Javid's talk page. Thank you for reading this.

sockpuppet stuff[edit]

I'm a new user and I don't know what this means but I've been editing two articles and there are about 7 different accounts that all do the same thing R&R Partners and Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. Delete information that is unfavorable to the two companies. Unfortunately one of those accounts is a wiki-administrator but I'm not even sure who is who or if they are all the same person. I suspect that Vegaswikian (I think that is his name) is the master puppet of the other 5 to 6 accounts that delete the information. Most recently a brand new account reverted some data and accused another user of violating a 3rr rule (they did not). They even went so far as to put up tags on that users page and their own and that to me showed they were an experienced wiki user, not some newby like me. How do you find out? I'm only asking because I saw your username accusing another person of being a sockpuppet and it seemed like you knew what you were talking about. Thanks for any help you can provide. (LVAustrian (talk) 07:00, 9 December 2008 (UTC))[reply]

It seems unlikely that you have stumbled on a case of sockpuppetry. Just a local controversy with strong opinions on both sides. Wikipedia vets its administrators pretty well, so I really doubt one of them would get involved in sockpuppetry. The fact that the page has an admin's attention is probably a good thing, since if the opposing sides of the controversy get too heated up, he can step in and protect the page until the tempers simmer down. It is clear that several of the editors have a conflict of interest; you should probably write to Vegaswikian and ask for his advice as he is more familiar with the page history (and the local interests) than I am. copyright issues at English Language Skills Assessment, input?[edit]

English Language Skills Assessment (edit | talk | history | protect | delete | links | watch | logs | views)

Hi. :) I'm knocking because of your note at this article's talk page. It's been tagged as a c-vio and come current at WP:CP. While the material is published at ncela.gwu.edu, the link indicates that the text is taken from the GW-CEEE and the ERIC Clearinghouse on Assessment and Evaluation. I've found it at ERIC, here. I can't find anything to suggest that the text is a work produced by the US Federal Government, though, although the first website may be. If you can show me that I don't have to revise this one, I'd be most grateful. :) I've got quite a lot to do at CP today and would much rather not, if it's truly free for use. If I can't verify pd, I'll have to rewrite it anyway. I'd be very grateful for response either way, so I can get about striking it from the list one way or another. I'm watching you here. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 13:57, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I take your point. I did not find the ERIC reference so I could not assess the copyright issue. The COPYVIO notice should probably point to the ERIC site rather than the NCELA site. However, in any case, the material is clearly a copyright violation (and probably so at the NCELA site also). Feel free to address the issue as you see fit. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:12, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, and rats. :) I was really hoping you were going to say, "Oh, but ERIC has plainly taken it from [insertpublicdomainurl] here." :D Thanks for taking a look. I'll get on it. (hearty sigh). --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:13, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the NCELA site does contain the disclaimer (see the talk page). Maybe that's sufficient for Wikipedia's rights. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:24, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Canditv[edit]

Dear Shoessss, I had removed the ICT award reference from Canditv because the only source I could find was a company press release. A search of the ICT site itself shows no such award. In fact, the ICT does not even list an award for "Best Innovative Product". The DO list a "World Class Innovation Award", which was apparently awarded to a company named Lincor Solutions in 2008. Because of this, I removed the reference in an earlier edition of this article, and I will remove it again. If a better citation can be found, the fact may be restored. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 17:35, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comment - not a problem. However I am going to add it back based on this reference [1] if you are in agreement. ShoesssS Talk 17:38, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure I can trust the Sentinel reference, as it may well be based on the company's own Press Release. The fact that the company is NOT listed at the ICT award site is very troubling, don't you think? WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 17:47, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Not at this point, for a couple of reasons. The first, if the company made a false claim, and this would be a biggie, it would negatively affect the company both in reliability and most likely financially, and to be honest, I could not see this company doing that {at least personally). The second is that the awards are just coming out. I have seen it take months sometimes for organizations like this to post winners. Especially in lower profile categories. However, I have no problems waiting to post until you are 100% satisfied with RS. Likewise, I would hate to see the article deleted because Notability could not be established and this award could have swayed consensus that indeed it had been. ShoesssS Talk 17:56, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Struer[edit]

I'm scratching my head over this edit. How do you get a "no context" out of that?--Fabrictramp | talk to me 16:10, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is not enough information to differentiate between the "town" of Struer and the municipality in which it is contained. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:14, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not sure I follow you. The article says explicitly it's about the town, and links to the municipality article. Sounds like it's an editing issue, not a deletion issue, if it still needs clarification.--Fabrictramp | talk to me 19:58, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
There is no information in the article to indicate that the town is in any way different from the municipality. In English (well, American English, at any rate) a municipality is a generic term that can mean a town, village, or city. Unless there is any information about the existence of a TOWN of Struer separate from the Municipality of Struer, it seems that the article is redundant. I.e., there is not sufficient information in the article to different Struer (the town) from the Struer Municipality, which seems to me to be the definition of insufficient context. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:07, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
WP:SOFIXIT might apply here. The Struer Municipality has plenty of information to show that these are different entities. In Denmark, a municipality is like a smaller version of a US county, and may contain several towns, villages, and cities. (And if the article truly were redundant, changing it to a redirect would be the way to go.)--Fabrictramp | talk to me 20:13, 11 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You're right, technically. I thought that the article was not truly spammy enough for a G11, but I doubt it has the requisite notability. There's no speedy for non-notable software; so I prodded it and blocked the spamusername. --Orange Mike | Talk 15:55, 12 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Andrew stine deletion[edit]

Hi - you recently left a speedy deletion notice for User:Andrew4511. The article was soon deleted. However, the history of the Andrew4511 account shows only a single edit, some silly vandalism to the Bill Ayers article. Just letting you know in case you left it for the wrong editor.... or does deleting an article remove it from the edit history? Cheers, Wikidemon (talk) 23:57, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

That edit is no longer in my history, but if I recall properly, the user had redirected his user page to an article space page, which constitutes an illegal redirect. Deleting the user page does not delete the user account (as his talk page is still available), and the user is free to recreate an appropriate user page. Dr Louisa Martindale and her mother, also Louisa Martindale[edit]

I've only just joined up so forgive me if I have not left this note in the right place. I found it extremely difficult to find a way to contact WikiDan61.

My name is Helena Wojtczak and I am a researcher, university lecturer, public speaker and author and publisher of books on women's history, including one that features biographies of both Mrs and Dr Martindale.

I was contacted today by Val Brown who is extremely upset that her contributions on Mrs and Dr Martindale have been altered to make them wrong, and that they are now both going to be deleted, I understand on the grounds that the women were "not notable enough".

I write to strongly protest at this decision. The two Martindale ladies, mother and daughter, have entries in the Dictionary of National Biography and are acknowledged by everyone in my field to have been extremely important to the progress of women.

Miss Brown is acknowledged in the field of women's history as an expert on Dr Martindale, having researched her life extensively, and is the author of a book which is substantiallly about the doctor. Miss Brown currently leads a campaign to get Dr M's portrait taken from its present location into the main museum at Brighton, and is enlisting the help of the British Solicitor-General, who is a relation of the Martindales. She created the Wikipedia entries partly to assist in the campaign, so as to be able to point potential supporters to some information on the lady concerned.

Now you have given notice, on what I consider to be erroneous grounds, to remove both pages, you are besmirching the memory of these two important women, denying people the right to learn about them, and are losing the future assistance of both Miss Brown and myself, who could potentially contribute much valuable information about various individuals, events and organisations in women's history.

Neither Mrs or Dr Martindale was a "suffragette", an error which someone (not Miss Brown) has added to the pages. If you are going to meddle with British women's biographies, at least learn the distinction between a "suffragist" and a "suffragette".

Yrs

Helena Wojtczak

[email protected] —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wojtczak (talkcontribs) 12:36, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ms Wojtczak -- I do not intend to besmirch anyone's memory. Ms Brown created several very confusing articles in an attempt to differentiate between Dr Martindale and her mother. The article on the mother was never developed, and the article on the daughter (Dr Martindale) has been nominated for deletion. This nomination was done by me because the article does not indicate that the subject is notable in any way. This does not mean that Dr Martindale is not notable, only that the article fails to convey that. If you would like to make your voice heard in the decision process, please add a comment to the discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Dr Louisa Martindale. If it is any consolation, my opinion appears to be in the minority, and the article on Dr Martindale seems pretty safe. If you or Ms Brown would like to recreate the article on the daughter, I would suggest creating it in a User Space page (such as User:Val Brown/Louisa Martindale. When the article is complete and ready for publication, it can be copied to Louisa Martindale (which is currently directed to Dr Louisa Martindale, but that can be addressed when the proper article is available). Creating pages in the main article space, including all the test editing and citation development, is considered disruptive, and such test articles are often deleted before they can be completed. If you or Ms Brown need help with this, please feel free to ask (me or any other experienced editor). I am not opposed to articles on these women, but I would hope that they can be GOOD articles. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 13:09, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
As a postscript, I should not that I was not the editor who added any of the content about Dr Martindale being a suffragist, a suffragette, or anything about her possible sexual orientation. I agree with you that such information is irrelevant to the content of the page. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 14:14, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've restored the article on the surgeon Louisa Martindale's mother, under the title Louisa Martindale (feminist). I don't have time to work on it right now, but she has a full entry in the Oxford Dictionary of National Biography, which has usually been seen as sufficient evidence of notability on its own in AfD. As your actions with regard to these pages seem to have had the consequence of upsetting a couple of new good-faith editors, could I ask you to hold off testing the notability of Louisa Martindale (feminist) at AfD, at least until those editors have had a chance to work on the article. Thanks, Espresso Addict (talk) 21:49, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The deletion/threatened deletion has stimulated people to improve the articles enormously, so all's well that ends well! Espresso Addict (talk) 17:51, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It looks like Val Brown has made a few comments on the Louisa Martindale talk page, so hopefully she will continue to contribute. Espresso Addict (talk) 18:18, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

jane krakowski[edit]

She's an american actrees, but with a Polish name, therefore there should be a note how it was originally pronunced correctly by her ascestors. There are no silent letters in Polish. J is never silent. Polish is a phonetic language, therefore you can pronounce correctly any word even when you see it for the first time in your life. Her family must have lost the idea about correct pronunciation of the name, but there is no reason to keep people in the dark about that. They should know how her ancestors pronounced the name. —Preceding unsigned comment added by ekpc (talkcontribs)

The point is irrelevant to the discussion in the article. She pronounces her name "krah-kowsky", not "kray-kowsky" or "krie-kowsky". The reason she removed the 'j' was to prevent people trying to pronounce her name "kraj-kowsky". It is HER pronunciation of the name that is at hand, not her Polish ancestors' pronunciation of the name. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 19:17, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Well it is a shame that English is not a phonetic language. Such problems do not exist in phonetic languages. In imdb.com there is a trivia section. Why not create such trivia in wikipedia in Jane Krakowski article, and put there that information?—Preceding unsigned comment added by Ekpc (talkcontribs) 20:38, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This is true. English orthography is a mess!! But all attempts to correct it (see Noah Webster# Speller and dictionary) have been half-successful at best. This is what happens when a language grows organically through assimilation of many different cultures. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:43, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
PS -- Wikipedia discourages such "Trivia" sections -- especially as this particular piece of trivia has to do with the difference between Polish and English, and nothing much at all to do with Ms Krakowski herself. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:46, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
She has a Polish name, so how can you say that it has nothing to do with her? It has because of her name, which is Polish, despite the fact that she is an American, it is as simple as that. BTW, in my opinion English from the beginning was not phonetic, so it is not foreign influence which caused that problem. However by not revealing how originally her name was pronounced you intensify the problems with pronounciation in English, as people will not be able to learn anything about that. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ekpc (talkcontribs) 21:06, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
You are really overcomplicating the problem. Her original name was Krajkowski. In English, people will try to pronounce that name as "kraj-kow-ski" (i.e. pronounce the 'j' as an English 'j'). Since SHE pronounces her name "krah-kow-ski", she removed the 'j'. No one (neither she nor anyone else) care that in Poland her original name would be pronounced as "kray-kow-ski". That point is irrelevant to the discussion on her page. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:13, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps because no-one there care you have such a mess in ortography. That is a wrong attitude. Why not put just a little bit of effort and learn how to pronounce foreign names the way they are pronounced in their countries of origin?

If there was no mention in the article that her name was changed because of pronunciation problems, I would of cours agree that that information, which I put was irrelevant, but because there is information about her name pronunciation problems, then there should be an information how her Polish name should be pronounced correctly in the country of origin of her ancestors. If her name was not Polish that information would be irrelevant, but it is Polish, and therefore there should be some explanation about that otherwise people might think incorrectly that 'j' is silent in Polish which is misleading (most of people reading the article will recognize that it is Polish name). In fact because of the change she made to her name people knowing Polish or Poland might think that it originates from the name of the city of Kraków, however that is not what her father name means, as it is derived from the word krajać which means to cut. BTW, Polish gramma and ortography is also a mess. The only good thing about Polish language is that it is a phonetic language, hence you can pronounce correctly any Polish word (when you learn the rules how to pronounce Polish letters), even if it is an unknown word for you. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Ekpc (talkcontribs) 21:25, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just don't think you understand the point I'm trying to make, and I really don't have time to continue this argument any further. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:29, 22 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The guidelines are spelled out in the links on the proposed deletion template, specifically that Wikipedia is NOT to be used to publish original research and Wikipedia is not your personal soapbox. If you have a message you want to disseminate, that's a fair and good thing -- this country was built on people disseminating their message. But Wikipedia is not the forum in which to do it. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 17:33, 23 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First of all, I CAN'T delete it; I'm not an administrator. The {{prod}} template will remain on the page until either 1) someone removes it (which you are free to do if you feel the article meets the guidelines I've pointed out, at which point I will bring the matter to an open forum known as the Articles for deletion), or 2) five days have passed, at which point an administrator will assume the proposal is uncontested and the article will be deleted. Second of all, yes, as a human being you DO have the right to speak about Karl Mark, or Groucho Marx, or marks on the sidewalk for that matter. But Wikipedia is under no obligation to provide you a forum to exercise that right. As for other articles on Marx and his theories, these are well documented and referenced articles about the facts and theories espoused by Marx, they are not odd meanderings about one person's beliefs on how the Communist system should repair itself. Dutch Dirty[edit]

You have marked the Dutch Dirty article for deletion as not being a notable artist. However, if you google "Dutch Dirty" you will find an abundant amount of articles relating to him, he is just a "newer" artist.. He's toured alongside national artist T-Pain, and is represented by T-Pain's mothre (Aliya Najm)... He was featured on a single with national artist T.I., and his debut solo album is scheduled for release in March of this year.

I am not sure how exactly to lay out a wikipedia page, so if I neglected to format it right, of left something out, I ask that you assist me with it.. However, before deleting it, please use your search engines to verify that this artist is "notable" —Preceding unsigned comment added by Coreyarealgoon (talkcontribs) 14:55, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm sorry, I don't find the "abundant" articles you mention. I find a myspace page, a YouTube page, and a few other self-created music pages, but no indepdendent articles to assert notability. In general, touring WITH a notable artist is not sufficient to assert notability. The artist will need to generate some press of his own before he can be considered notable. An up-and-comer, perhaps, but not notable yet. If you disagree, you may make your arguments at the AfD page. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 15:01, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I didn't block you. An admin blocked you because your username violates policies. (You may NOT create a username that implies that you are somehow affiliated with the Wikipedia foundation.) I DID revert your edits because the articles you marked were NOT spam. I don't know what the articles for Voodoo Tiki Tequila looked like -- they may have been blatant advertising. That does not mean that ALL articles about ANY branded product are blatant advertising. I can't help you restore your articles or unblock your username -- you'll have to contact an administrator about that (and I am NOT an administrator). Seeking knowledge: Speedy declined on Dutch Dirty[edit]

My Wiki-inexperience shows... How can you tell? I thought that when a speedy was declined, there would be a note in the edit summary explaining that it was declined and the reasoning. I see where a new editor deleted the flag, but no speedy decline. If you don't have time to answer please don't worry about it, I am just sponging up knowledge where I can find it. :) Thanks in advance and Cheers!sinneed (talk) 17:18, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I got it. It looked like a decline because the flag was deleted? But it was vandalism. I warned the flag-killing editor.sinneed (talk) 17:26, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bhaṭṭikāvya: no references[edit]

I have added notes and references to the article.
I had not included them before because I had not known how to do it.
If you have any suggestions for how the article may be improved, please say.
With thanks, Oliver

I have changed the notation from "no references" to "inline references" which means that, although you have provided many references, you have not cited those references within the body of the article, so it is difficult to know how the references support the article. You have already created 3 footnotes using the proper <ref> </ref> syntax, so you should be able to use the same syntax to cite all the other references within the body of the article. Inline refs added[edit]

Hi, I have added inline refs. opfallon (talk) 18:28, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Bhattikavya[edit]

Yes I am an expert, Some of this is original research but it has been published in a peer reviewed series: http://www.claysanskritlibrary.org/ The Wiki article is a reworking of the introduction to my translation of the text. I am the copyright holder and it has been peer reviewed, and i have put it up here with the approval of my publisher. My book is now the main scholarly reference for this text. I am concerned about the accuracy of some of the Sanskrit related stuff here, but am wary of editing other peoples' contributions, but as a publisher myself, I would like to put up quite a few articles on various Sanskrit texts, properly linked and referenced. Is this OK? opfallon (talk) 20:06, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I would suggest that you mention your affiliation with the publisher on the article's talk page, as this might be relevant to further discussions of the article. I would also suggest that you submit your page to the WP:WikiProject Literature for review there, as the members of that project have more experience than I in the area of critical literary analysis. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 20:19, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you, I'll do that.opfallon (talk) 20:29, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. You seconded the PROD notice on the Storm(Novel) entry, but the author contested the PROD, so I have it up at AFD, if you'd like to add your 2 cents. Cheers, Dawn Bard (talk) 21:01, 5 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Template Question[edit]

I would like to place a template such as the one on http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nikos_Kazantzakis to show Fteris' nationality, birth and death. How do I do so? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Iliada (talkcontribs)

That box is placed by including the template {{Infobox writer}} on the page. If you click on that link, it will bring you to a page that includes the documentation for that template. Your best bet may be to copy the infobox template from the Nikos Kazantzakis page and edit it as necessary. I have taken the opportunity to edit your user page with the infobox -- you may edit it as necessary. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 16:42, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
PS -- your article has the tone more of a personal remembrance than an encyclopedia article. You may want to tone down the use of such phrases as "his beloved Mani", "all very deep and thought-provoking" (that is an opinion, not a fact), etc. I certainly believe the subject is worth writing about, but if it's worth doing, it's worth doing well. Links?[edit]

How do I add links to text? For example, on Barack Obama's page, it says, "Barack Obama is the President-elect of the United States of America," where "president-elect" and "United States of America" are links to other Wikipedia pages. How do I do this? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Iliada (talkcontribs) 21:36, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

To add an internal link (a link to another Wikipedia page), type the text inside double square brackets, like this: [[Link page title]]. Be careful to type the name of the page exactly as it appears on the target page. If you want to link to a page, but not use that page's title in the text of your article (for example, linking to the page "President-elect of the United States of America" but using the simpler phrase "President-elect"), you can type [[Page title|text you want to appear]]. I hope that helps. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:40, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, you can delete those extraneous {{Talkback}} templates at the top of your talk page once you have gotten and read my response. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:41, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It didn't work[edit]

If you have the time, could you look at my page, and on the first sentence, instead of saying MANI, GREECE, it says [[1] Greece. How can I fix it so it says MANI, but links to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mani_Peninsula? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Iliada (talkcontribs) 21:46, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It appears you have already figured out the solution on your own. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 21:54, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

I have looked on many Wikipedia pages and saw that the title is always a different color from the text. How can I apply this, and what color is the right one for it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Iliada (talkcontribs) 22:16, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have never seen a different color title. All the titles on the pages I view are black, just like the rest of the text. Can you show me an example of a page with a different colored title? WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 22:21, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Title Color[edit]

For instance, if you go to Obama's page, Barack Obama is in Blue. The title for the Greece page is green. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Iliada (talkcontribs) 22:43, 6 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

In my version of Wikipedia (viewed using Firefox) all page titles are black. Sorry I can't help you on that one. WikiDan61ChatMe!ReadMe!! 11:00, 7 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
