Please clarify sources

Hello, on your edits to the Suez Canal about the Ever Given, your source went against the consensus of other sources on the page, may you please clarify this in the paragraph? Partylizzard (talk) 14:55, 25 March 2021 (UTC)

@Partylizzard: When saying a claim is disputed, you need to provide a source saying that it's disputed. The article I've provided is backed up by many others, such as this one, so it's not disputed. Uses x (talk) 15:02, 25 March 2021 (UTC)

I am not saying the claim is disputed by general consensus, I am saying that it is disputed by the other articles cited on the wikipedia section, all of them say that there will be drastic effects on shipments transported through the canal, while your source says the jam is unimportant to global trade, so you have to clarify that the sources are slightly contradictory Partylizzard (talk) 15:08, 25 March 2021 (UTC)

@Partylizzard: There's an NBC source saying the effects will be drastic if it goes on for a few days, while the Market Watch and RTÉ sources say otherwise since there are alternative routes, stockpiles, and it's only slower for them to pass through (not a complete block). Those are the sources. Uses x (talk) 15:17, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
yes, they are sources that partially contradict each other, and you need to include that it is slightly contradictory information
Partylizzard (talk) 15:19, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
@Partylizzard The presence of oil stocks, and the limited effect on price, is not disputed. The NBC article is trying to predict the future, saying if it goes on for days it can cause problems. It does not say there are problems right now. If you think you can re-phrase what I've added to the articles with that in mind (not reverting what I've added, or slapping disputed tags on) please do. Uses x (talk) 15:25, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
@Uses x Thanks, will do Partylizzard (talk) 15:29, 25 March 2021 (UTC)

Are you now or have you been an agent of the Turkish Foreign Ministry?

Not an accusation, just wondering. You're resisting that good news pretty hard. Unless you're sworn to secrecy on the matter, come on, man. I'm not a bad cop, just want to know what's going on. Did a girl from Yerevan break your heart once, too? InedibleHulk (talk) 07:56, 25 April 2021 (UTC)

@InedibleHulk Yes, it's a very sad story. Maybe we can share a few beers some day and I'll get the opportunity to share the story as I cry on your shoulder. Saygılarımızla, Uses x (talkcontribs) 08:58, 25 April 2021 (UTC)

Request RE: Canvassing allegation

Hello, Uses x:

I've respectfully requested that you strike your allegation that editors had been canvassed to the discussion on WP:ITNC regarding the recent news regarding the U.S. President's Armenian Genocide recognition. If you believe that canvassing occurred, then I would understand why you would keep the flag up, though I don't really understand why you would keep up the note unless you continue to believe that I have engaged in prohibited canvassing in making my post. I'm reiterating my respectful request on this page to see if you would be willing to strike your comment, in light of the further discussion on the relevant page surrounding the canvassing tag.

Mikehawk10 (talk) 02:04, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

@Mikehawk10 HelIo, I plan on striking it when an admin has either decided to post or not, or if an admin determines the flag is inappropriate. I stand by the fact the user shouldn't have been notified considering their limited involvement, and I just want that to be weighed when the nomination is decided upon.
The flag is only "expressed a concern" for that reason. It won't (and can't) be used against you as I made it clear it wasn't intentional (which was apparent anyway), and I left no note on your talk page so that it won't be dug up. Even if I just left it (which I won't), it'd be gone from the page in a week and be forgotten. Uses x (talkcontribs) 02:19, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
Speaking of express concern, I just got off the horn with Sabaton, old wounds were reopened, and I need to ask you a couple of quick innocent questions about where you stand on the cliffs of Gallipoli and demand you spill everything you know about the slopes of St. Benedict. Unless, of course, this is a bad time. You do have the right to remain silent, incriminating as that might seem. InedibleHulk (talk) 09:29, 26 April 2021 (UTC)
