Please stop posting bare URLs as references[edit]
I have just looked through your 20 most recent edits to Wikipedia, the ones you have made in December. 12 of these edits were additions such as this one of a bare, unexplained URL in reference tags. Looking back further at random edits from your contributions history, it looks like the majority of your edits for at least several months have been of this kind. A URL is not a source, and on its own it does not tell the reader anything about what the actual source is. The citation/reference must include information about the title, author, publication, and date (at least), and those things are more important than the URL. A new editor is given a lot of latitude in things like this, but you have been around for years, and other editors have asked you before to cite the sources properly, for instance in 2016, 2017, and 2018 (with some advice on good tools to use).
Please stop doing this. If you want help with citing sources properly, ask at the Teahouse or Help desk. Also do consider whether a short sentence that already has a source really needs several more sources stating the same thing (e.g. 1, 2). Because the stubs honestly feel more like you're spamming them out. And, I hope I am not being impolite, but some of the phrasing and innaccuracies are worrying. I wish I could cleanup every one of these stubs but I don't have the time to familiarise myself with each film enough to provide an accurate and full representation. Hi Sunuraju, I appreciate your updates on the 42nd Hong Kong Film Awards. However, please ensure that when updating an awards ceremony, you not only change "pending" to "won", but also update the losing categories to "nom", while providing sources for verification and updating the biography section. Otherwise, other users will have to clean it up, and it would be better to have a fully completed update rather than leaving it halfway done for someone else to finish.
