2021 All Stars Match[edit]

Thanks for all your updates on this page just curious as to why this section is needed? The rep section is mean't for those that have appeared in a rep game not players that have been named but then not played. If you include this section you are making a rod for your own back because you then have to include any player that has ever been withdrawn from a rep game for whatever reason. The reason for withdrawal is irrelevant. Anderch (talk) 08:00, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks @Anderch: - would you consider it appropriate to put the following in the season summary:
  • 12 February – Seven Melbourne players (names) were forced to withdraw from the 2021 All Stars match due to a Victoria COVID-19 border closure.[1]
Might we also consider a pandemic related section in the summary as a subsection? I’m happy to go through the 2020 summary to make it uniform. Storm machine (talk) 11:33, 19 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Yes that is a better spot for it because that section is mean't for "news" type items and details. Also just a tip when adding links to other pages in a section, you only need to link the very first reference. After that they are not required otherwise the article looks too busy and you lose the effect of the link. Anderch (talk)

thanks @Anderch:, have added now.

DYK for AFL Women's season seven Grand Final[edit]

On 20 December 2022, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article AFL Women's season seven Grand Final, which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/AFL Women's season seven Grand Final. You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, AFL Women's season seven Grand Final), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.
