Stats in football players' infoboxes[edit]

Hi, when you update the stats in football players' infoboxes please remember that you should also update the |pcupdate= (or |ntupdate=) parameter. This shows when the stats were last updated and prevents editors from accidentally updating the stats again. Thank you. --Jaellee (talk) 06:27, 6 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

August 2017[edit]

Information icon Please do not introduce incorrect information into articles, as you did to Alireza Haghighi. Your edits could be interpreted as vandalism and have been reverted. If you believe the information you added was correct, please cite references or sources or discuss the changes on the article's talk page before making them again. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Thank you.

Please stop adding unsourced content, as you did to Daniel Norouzi. This contravenes Wikipedia's policy on verifiability. If you continue to do so, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. GiantSnowman 08:16, 28 August 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Use of edit summaries[edit]

Information icon Hello. Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.

When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:

Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)

Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.

Edit summary content is visible in:

Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. You can give yourself a reminder to add an edit summary by setting Preferences → Editing → check Prompt me when entering a blank edit summary. Thanks! Foreign players lists[edit]

Hello Persepolis1400, I am pinging creators and active editors of the lists found at Category:Lists of expatriate association football players because of the discussion where your opinion would be welcomed. Persepolis F.C. affiliated clubs[edit]

Hi there, I'm not sure if you've seen recently, but there been issues with IP editors adding unsourced entries to the 'Affiliated clubs' section of the Persepolis page. I notice that you have previously reverted these entries yourself. I imagine, given your username, you have some understanding of the club, so I just thought I'd reach out for some advice. Is there any basis in fact to these additions? I've been reverting simply because they are unsourced. I have no particular knowledge of the club, so I'm not sure whether any of those entries are valid (I don't speak the language, which makes it a bit more difficult for me to check these things). I've been warning the users about adding unsourced content and have added a note to the article talk page. I thought that would be enough to either stop the additions, or prompt those editors to add their references (which shouldn't be a problem if the list is valid). However, a new IP address has today readded the same content and I'm now in danger myself of breaching WP:3RR. Would you mind also keeping an eye on this please? If it continues, I might have to take it further. Thanks, Nzd (talk) 23:15, 26 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

  • Masoud Shojaei: the contents are sourced, unless you are saying The New York Times released a FALSE article. If Hajsafi and Shojaei have been pardoned (I see in his article that Hajsafi has returned), then add that to the article and don't remove the other part. Also, please, don't EVER call me a vandal again when you are the one disrespecting WP guidelines. Situation has been reported, sorry to bother you. --Quite A Character (talk) 09:39, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I have added more content to the article now (instead of reverting everything and insulting, but I apologize if you think I was trying to say anything against Mr. Shojaei or Iranian people/football, not my intention), saying the Iranian federation is reviewing the case. Better now? Please let's cooperate. --Quite A Character (talk) 11:28, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • No reply, even though i tried to be more or less polite and interact. Sorry to bother you, goodbye (but i will keep an eye on the article, be sure of it, i am not trying to VANDALIZE the article, but IMPROVE it). --Quite A Character (talk) 16:40, 11 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of Farshid Hakki[edit]

Hello Persepolis1400,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Farshid Hakki for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.

If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions.

Restart (Iran) moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Restart (Iran), does not have enough sources and citations as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. signed, Rosguill talk 21:19, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Your draft article, Draft:Restart (Iran)[edit]

Hello, Persepolis1400. It has been over six months since you last edited the Articles for Creation submission or Draft page you started, "Restart".

In accordance with our policy that Wikipedia is not for the indefinite hosting of material deemed unsuitable for the encyclopedia mainspace, the draft has been nominated for deletion. If you plan on working on it further, or editing it to address the issues raised if it was declined, simply edit the submission and remove the {{db-afc}}, {{db-draft}}, or {{db-g13}} code.

If your submission has already been deleted by the time you get there, and you wish to retrieve it, you can request its undeletion by following the instructions at this link. An administrator will, in most cases, restore the submission so you can continue to work on it.

Thanks for your submission to Wikipedia, and happy editing. JMHamo (talk) 08:57, 31 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
