Thanks!

Thank you for removing the content added to my userpage by the Trident University vandal. I appreciate not having to read their comments. Regards, 72Dino (talk) 20:52, 29 May 2012 (UTC)

Onix Audio

Hi, I have the pleasure of currently owning some of Onix Audio products and wanted to create the page about Onix Audios history. I created the original Onix Audio history page some time ago. I was new to Wiki when I created my first page and made a few errors in my original page. Therefore I changed and corrected the page to include links and citations as much as possible to meet Wiki's guidlines. Through my association with Onix Audio, I became a personal friend of Mr. Adam Worsfold the owner of the now liquidated company Onix Audio I'm not sure why, but now someone (Blubberweed)is constantly editing the page and seems to be editing the page with non factual information. I can ask Mr. Worsfold to provide further evidence of the historical facts and add additional cititations if required. Is there any possiblity I can request to have the page locked by one of wiki's moderators or administators. Any advice on how to resolve this issue would be gratefully received.(David Taylor (talk) 01:15, 31 May 2012 (UTC))

Edit warring is reported at WP:ANI/3RR. However, I would say that because you have a close association with the company that is the subject of the article you are likely to be warned about your potential conflict of interest and asked not to make edits to the article. In this particular case, Blubberweed's edits look to me like vandalism rather than edit warring and therefore a vandalism report to WP:ANI may be more appropriate. QU TalkQu 06:56, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
Thank you for your asistance, I think you may be right about Blubberweed. Thanks for amending the article for me. (David Taylor (talk) 10:13, 31 May 2012 (UTC))

Soka gakkai editing

Hi there, I'm Naveen. You recently reverted the changes I made into Soka gakkai article. I'm a practising Nichiren buddhist and I'm with SGI i.e Soka gakkai. The views and refrences presented in the "Perception and Criticism of the Sōka Gakkai" section are made by some one by the user name "SafwanZabalawi" are compeltely biased and is unacceptable. Either he belongs to the rival "Nichiren soshu" priesthood school or he was a past SGI member I believe, coz he is hell bent on distorting this article for the past many months( you can check the history of "soka gakkai" page). I left a warning on his talk page and if he further continues the same, I would take the case to "Wiki admin task force" and he will be blocked permanently from Wikipedia. If you have any objections to my edits feel free to drop a msg on my talk page. every one has the right to protect their image and and walk in the society with their heads held high. One is not a culprit untill proven and should not become a victim of negetive propaganda. Hope you understand my views Naveen Reddy 08:00, 5 June 2012 (UTC)

The problem is that this is just you disagreeing with someone else. Your edits and comments here make it clear you have a conflict of interest and may not be expressing a neutral point of view. You need to discuss your changes on the article talk page to gain consensus. QU TalkQu 10:56, 5 June 2012 (UTC)

About ShopAtHome edit

I removed that portion because it did not have anything to do with the history of the network. I forgot to mention that in the edit summary. Next time, I'll be sure to use the edit summary. Thank you for kindly pointing this out to me.

Meligalas

Thank you for undoing that far-right SOB's vandalism on the Meligalas page. After May 6th's elections in Greece, the neo-nazis have become more and more insolent, violent and dangerous and they are trying to censor anything that exposes the action of nazis, neonazis and Nazi collaborators in Greece. I would greatly appreciate it if you could put that page on your watchlist. Once again, thank you. Moderatelyaverage (talk) 13:59, 9 June 2012 (UTC)

Persondata missing name cat

Hi!

I noticed that you are experimenting to see why some articles with a completed name in the persondata field are not being cleared. If you work out what is happening, please let me know! I too am trying to clear out some backlog here and am puzzled.

Thanks --Quiet Editor (talk) 20:38, 6 June 2012 (UTC)

There are a number of things that seem to fix it. It seems to need a carriage return between the end of the template and the next piece of information in the article (usually a category). It also seems to break sometimes if the white space between NAME and = contains a non-display character that isn't a space. Clearing the text between the NAME and = and replacing with one space, and adding the carriage return after the template closing brackets seems to fix it (most of the time!). QU TalkQu 20:42, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
Looks like it is the whitespace fix that solves it. See diff. QU TalkQu 20:46, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
Thanks. I'm just closing down here, but will try this out tomorrow.--Quiet Editor (talk) 20:54, 6 June 2012 (UTC)
Well in general I've been quite successful by adding whitespace, but I have been defeated by Vanessa Webb. Any chance you could take a look? Quiet Editor (talk) 15:41, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
I removed the whitespace following the = signs when the parameter had no value, and that seemed to work. No idea why it is so temperamental. QU TalkQu 17:31, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
Good grief! Tempramental is a good description. thanks for your help. Quiet Editor (talk) 17:59, 20 June 2012 (UTC)
