Reasons for previous deleting

Dear QuiteUnusual

Greetings.

Some topics and sentences were deleted by me yesterday regarding Shri Ramakrishna Dev. I didnt cite the reasons for that and please excuse me for the same.

However, I would like to mentions the reasons on this plateform.

Shri Ramakrishna was God incarnate himself just like Shri Rama, Shri Krishna, Buddha, Shri Chaitanya, Jesus and many others, for his followers. Now, to discuss and write about God publicly, we must try to put things in a positive light. Talking about sexuality of such respected figures is an offence itself. Some people do that. But lets leave it to them. Please dont put this on a public plateform like Wikipedia. It hurts his followers.

We must try to understand his teachings, and incoprporate them in our lives to make ourselves better people rather than discuss some academic studies of people who cant understand a bit of him. There are many great books to comprehend him like Shri Ramkrishna Kathamrita & Shri Ramkrishna Leelamrita.

Such spiritual figures should be written about in such a manner which increses our love for God, a positive & healthy manner so that general public gets inspired to incorporate values taught by them.

For me, he was an icon of universal love & brotherhood and stood for all that is good within humanity. He preached that all religions lead to the same God and it is futile to fight in the name of religion. So it is sincerely hoped that we shall take whatever he taught us and not waste our time in futile academic discussions.

Spirituality is all about loving God in any form. Thats what he taught us. Lets respect his teachings and refrain from negativity. After all the aim of human life is to realize God. :) Akashkumar19 (talk) 08:52, 20 April 2013 (UTC)
