Isan

I don't know what your qualifications in Thai geography and demographics are, but try telling my wife she's not a Khon Isan. Yes, we all speak a Thai that is more of a dialect of Lao up here, but down in southeast Isan some 500Km away, the people mostly identify with Khmer. Peace war game

Kolyvansky I don't have a problem with the quote being applied to the game in the correct context. At the moment, the quote as applied to the peace war game makes the article look essay-like , not encyclopedic. The basic problem is that Sun Tzu was not writing about the game. Obvious Conflict of Interest for 2020 Thai Protests Entry

John Drapper, according to his own CV, has written for US government funded fronts now involved directly in Thailand's protests. He has also co-authored a paper with a protest leader, Pavin Chachavalpongpun, and has written numerous op-eds critical of the current Thai government. He is clearly an activist and supports the protests and his bias has led him to attempting to conceal information and evidence critical of the protests. The US NED funding of core groups organizing the current protests is on the US NED's official website which I have linked to. Why wouldn't this be included in the article? It would be like a Russian agent repeatedly erasing evidence of the Kremlin funding groups in the US aiming to overthrow the US government. If Drapper doesn't like the format he is free to touch it up. His erasing it entirely reflects a concerted effort to conceal the information borne out of a conflict of interest.

Given the rhetoric, support for Armenia could imply support for Armenia in a nationalistic war. Support for Azerbaijan could imply support for a counter-attack into the disputed area. So, I suggest a change to the key: Support for Azerbaijani territorial integrity Vs. ??? I am honestly not sure what support for Armenia implies. Support for the Nagorno-Karabakh Line of Contact? So, the Russian source is stating that a civilian cultural center (the House/Palace of Culture) in Shusha was being used by Armenian forces for a meeting and was then bombed on October 4, resulting in nearly two dozen casualties. Is that correct? Re accounts of what is happening on the front, they are anecdotal and may be being highlighted by the Russian source for a variety of reasons. @SacredForest: On the photo, the basic problem is that it can't be used on Wikipedia. The copyright needs to be completely 'open', i.e., it needs to allow sharing and alteration for commercial purposes. For reddit, we can't use reddit itself. Hi Johncdraper, On the reddit page, there is a timeline of events which would be supportive of the timeline (2.1 Timeline of military engagements) already in place on Wiki. I've listed 3 below. If you use ctrl+f for Martuni, you'll find these entries easily: 13:53 - 18:25: several French Le Monde journalists were targeted by Azerbaijani/Turkish fire while at civilian Martuni city. Two French citizens and Armenians were wounded; one Armenian civilian has died. 14:54 Russian media: Russian Rain TV journalist Dmitri Yelovski and colleagues were under fire in Martuni city. No injuries. They're in a bomb shelter. They published the video showing the moment when the bomb fell near them. 18:40: Azerbaijan's bombardment of civilian Martuni city has left 4 dead and 11 wounded, including the aforementioned journalists. The text disappeared in your last edit. So I'm clear - do you think all mention of civilian deaths should be restricted to the "Civilian casualities" section? @AntonSamuel: My personal philosophy is that evevry human life counts. On Wikipedia, this depends on the death toll; proportionality is important. Hi again, regarding your removal of the extra text and tag in the caption for the featured picture of the Mosque, I've explained my view on this on the talk page: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk:2020_Nagorno-Karabakh_conflict#Further_sources_needed_for_Ganja_mosque_damage_claim It's true that the page features many conflicting and unconfirmed claims from the different sides, however placing the picture of the mosque, which no neutral sources have confirmed to be hit and no visual evidence has been presented to confirm the claim, next to the damaged Armenian cathedral in Shushi, that numerous sources have confirmed to have been hit and have provided visual evidence of that, I would argue is quite problematic and misleading with regard to WP:NPOV. Referendum on Independence - Nagorno Karabakh

Following both Armenia and Azerbaijan's independence from Soviet rule in early 1992, Nagorno-Karabakh declared independence and Azerbaijan revoked its autonomous status. A referendum subsequently characterised as a reductio ad absurdum of the region's legal status was held on 10 December, 1991, boycotted by the Azerbaijani population, which then constituted around 22.8%: 99.8% voted in favor.

Could you share the source? Something seems to be off with the chronology as it says "following...1992" but mentions the referendum happening on 10 December 1991 (i.e. before 1992). I hadn't seen it and added similiar text at 2020 Thai protests#Second wave (July–present), which is also where the intial severe emergency details are. I'm not sure if all state actions should be put off into a separate section, as it can make it hard for the reader to understand the flow. Also nice going on the edits you made at the psychohistory article. The 3 branches of mathematics which match up with the objectives Asimov stated for psychohistory are found in economic forecasting, the mathematical study of population dynamics and, third, optimal estimation theory; it would be nice to use these in the article since they match up with Asimov's own definitions of psychohistory as found in the Foundation trilogy. Separately, I've left a comment on the Talk page about Existential threats of AI which you recently edited which might be of interest if you have any comments or edits. FYI, I am a research associate with the UN-accredited Hawai'i-based peacebuilding NGO the Center for Global Nonkilling. My work on the global aspects of AI focus on the militarism of AI and existential risk of AGI: Carayannis, E.G., Draper, J. Optimising peace through a Universal Global Peace Treaty to constrain the risk of war from a militarised artificial superintelligence. AI & Soc (2022). [7]https://doi.org/10.1007/s00146-021-01382-y. There will also be a chapter on the forthcoming EElgar Handbook of Research on Artificial Intelligence, Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
