Jadon Sancho[edit]

Hi, I see you have edited Jadon Sancho's article and stated he is a Manchester United player, while I appreciate you editing this, please only edit this if there is a reliable source. Mattchapp7 (talk) 17:13, 1 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I have made the change because there is an official statement from Manchester United official website itself. Thank you though. Appreciate your concern.

Hello, I'm SunDawn. I noticed that in this edit to Helal Uddin Ahmed, you removed content without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry, the removed content has been restored. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. SunDawn (talk) 06:53, 5 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The content has to be removed because the allegations that are made in that article are completely false and undignified.

September 2022[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Federico Valverde. This means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be although other editors disagree. Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus, rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Points to note:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made;
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes and work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. FMSky (talk) 14:20, 16 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]

@FMSky: It is in fact common practice to specify the league a player's club plays in the lede of a player's article. Why are you reverting Sartaj267's changes? Robby.is.on (talk) 14:58, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
How is anyone supposed to know this? Its not like he ever provided an edit summary/explanation for edits that, at first glance, dont seem like improvements at all. Quite the opposite actually - having a league name that doesnt really tell a whole lot, instead of the country someone plays in. Literally just writing "this is the standard for footballers" or anything would've been ok --FMSky (talk) 15:03, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@FMSky: How is anyone supposed to know this? I don't expect you to know that. But I would expect you to know you're right if you're handing out template warnings. Both of you should have settled the disagreement by discussion instead of slow-motion edit warring across multiple articles. Literally just writing "this is the standard for footballers" or anything would've been ok Did you see explain your reverts anywhere? Robby.is.on (talk) 16:14, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
yes i wrote "no improvement" in a number of articles when first reverting, i didnt write it every time though. is this normal editing behaviour? https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Eden_Hazard&action=history just brute forcing the same edit into the article over and over again without an explanation --FMSky (talk) 17:16, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, good. is this normal editing behaviour? No, of course not. As I said, both of you should have started a discussion. Robby.is.on (talk) 17:27, 3 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Sartaj267. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on the page Helal Uddin Ahmed, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Vinegarymass911 (talk) 16:32, 25 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

You reverted my edit without giving any reason in edit summary, and I noticed in your contribution that you have been reverting edits of other users and administrators on a regular basis. DreamRimmer (talk) 09:29, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your edit on the "Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (Bangladesh)" page was reverted due to incorrect information, specifically the incumbent secretaries names, which I corrected after your wrong edits. Regarding my other reversions, they were made to maintain accuracy and adhere to Wikipedia guidelines. I would like to emphasize that my actions are rooted in a dedication to preserving the precision and quality of Wikipedia articles. Each reversion I've made aimed to rectify factual errors or breaches of Wikipedia's policies. I invite you to examine the relevant edits to better comprehend the reasoning behind my decisions. Thank you. You have a great day! Sartaj267 09:43, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
When you made the edit that I reverted, you didn't provide any source. You are aware that all users of Wikipedia come from various parts of the world, and when they check the changes made on the article of another country or topic, they must see the information inserted without any context and editing summary and If no significant information is discovered after extensive research, they believe it is appropriate to revert them, because even if there is less correct information in a Wikipedia article but there should be no incorrect information at all. I just want to advise you that in the future, you should not revert any edits other than harmful edits without summarising them so that no controversy arises. Thank you! -DreamRimmer (talk) 10:34, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Perhaps you should have checked the source in the first place before editing and this conversation and unwanted dispute between us would never happen. Sartaj267 18:26, 7 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Jude Bellingham[edit]

I wanted to know why you reverted the edit with regards to Jude Bellingham. A suitable source has been provided and follows the same pattern as other players. AtishT20 (talk) 09:58, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there. My decision to revert the edit was based on Wikipedia's policy of maintaining a Wikipedia:Neutral point of view (NPOV). The claim that Jude Bellingham is 'one of the best midfielders and youngsters in the world' is subjective and lacks sufficient verifiable achievements. As of now, Bellingham hasn't won accolades such as the UEFA Champions League, been included in the UEFA Team of the Season, been named Champions League Player of the Season, or won the World Cup. These are often used as objective benchmarks in evaluating such high acclaim. Without this recognition or substantial agreement among experts supported by reliable sources, the statement could infringe upon Wikipedia's NPOV policy. I hope this clarifies my decision. If you have any issues with my edit on Bellingham's page, please feel free to seek an Administrator's help. I will be the first one to put the abilities if other moderators consider it. Thank you. Sartaj267 10:42, 1 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

André Onana[edit]

Three editors (myself included) have not reverted your removal of sourced content from this article. A quick look at your talk page shows that you have a history of disruptive editing and edit warring. Unless you stop, you will likely end up blocked. GiantSnowman 07:56, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I understand your concern regarding the edits I've made. However, I must express my unease at the tone of your communication, which, at times, can be interpreted as threatening. Our goal here is to create and maintain accurate and balanced content collaboratively. Let's strive to keep our discussions productive, respectful, and free from personal or implied threats, as per Wikipedia's guidelines. Best regards. Sartaj267 08:02, 16 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Order of precedence in Bangladesh, BERC Chairman Rank[edit]

@EndzoneEnthusiast,

I am writing to urgently address a significant inaccuracy on the Order of Precedence page regarding the Chairman of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC). An erroneous edit was made on August 5, 2023, removing the Chairman's rank from the page. I am providing concrete evidence supported by official government documents to rectify this mistake and reinstate the Chairman's rightful rank without further delay.

Here's the unassailable evidence supporting the Chairman's rank:

  1. Legal Basis: According to Section 10 of the Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission Act, 2003 (Act No. 13 of 2003), the salary, allowances, and conditions of service for the Chairman and members of BERC are governed by rules. Until the rules are established, the government sets their salary, allowances, and conditions of service.
  2. Prime Minister's Decision: Memorandum No. 03.072.019.03.001.2010-234 from the Prime Minister's Office, dated November 10, 2010, confirms the Honorable Prime Minister's decision to equate the Chairman's rank with that of a Judge of the Appellate Division of the Supreme Court. (Copy attached as "Copy 01")
  3. Ministerial Approval: The Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources, along with the Department of Energy and Mineral Resources, issued Memorandum No. 28.013.019.02.00.035.2010-583 on December 7, 2010, formally endorsing the Chairman's rank equivalent to an Appellate Division Judge. (Copy attached as "Copy 02")
  4. Financial Alignment: Memorandum No. 07.00.0000.126.00.001.10-87, dated April 19, 2017, and Memorandum No. 07.161.00.00.00.002.2010-151, dated April 26, 2011, from the Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh, underscore the Chairman and members' agreement to align their salaries and allowances with the Supreme Court Judges (Remuneration and Privileges) (Amendment) Act, 2016. (Copy attached as "Copy 03")

Given the unequivocal legal framework and high-level decisions, I demand an immediate correction to the Order of Precedence page on Wikipedia. This demand is not a mere suggestion; it is a non-negotiable necessity based on the provided official documentation.

Should you require additional information or clarifications, please contact me at +8801777015777. Your prompt attention to rectifying this matter and upholding factual accuracy on Wikipedia is expected and demanded. 2400:C600:3369:1407:65BA:5D27:CC4C:8A2E (talk) 05:27, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your detailed evidence regarding the BERC Chairman's rank. I've reviewed and updated the Order of precedence in Bangladesh page on Wikipedia accordingly. Please check the changes and let me know if further adjustments are needed. EndzoneEnthusiast 10:47, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Jan-Carlo Simić[edit]

The player is part of the first team, has made his debut with the first team yesterday and has a first team number (#82), as you can easily find yourself from the Serie A football league website who lists him as a first team player: [1][2] Saying he is a player for the Under-19 and ignoring he is also an established player in the first team (he has been appearing already four times as an unused substitute in Serie A games before making his debut yesterday) is merely incorrect.
