@OldGreyBeard59: Overall the sources look good, but right now it seems a bit sensational and editorialized. Wikipedia articles usually have to be pretty neutral and are structured in a way that's more plain. The process of rewriting the page might require removing some unnecessary details and any lengthy quotes, since quotes should be used sparingly and summarizing information in your own words is preferable. Reading WP:EPSTYLE might help. It's a difficult but necessary task to pare back an article sometimes. BuySomeApples (talk) 00:00, 25 January 2023 (UTC)

Hi @Perumalism: I would love to help but I'm not sure I can A state level elected official would meet WP:NPOL but the page seems to say that he lost the election to another party, and is the leader of the BJP party in that state. Hi! This article has not been published citing that he is not notable.

Since July 2021 he has been serving as president of TN BJP and as on 13.01.2023, he has been accorded with Z category security [1] by the Ministry of Home Affairs, owing to his increasing popularity and security threats.

@Perumalism: Yes, technically the page protection can be removed but only if the page became ready for mainspace. Right now I don't see how it's been improved since the last few times it was reviewed or when it was at AfD. I don't really have anything else to add here.
