Hello, and thank you for your contribution to Wikipedia. I noticed that you recently added commentary to the Mary Fitzpatrick (photographer) article. While Wikipedia welcomes editors' opinions on an article and how it could be changed, these comments are more appropriate for the article's accompanying talk page. If you post your comments there, other editors working on the same article will notice and respond to them, and your comments will not disrupt the flow of the article. Thank you! Recent edit to University of York[edit]

I have reverted your edits in keeping with a recent discussion on the talk page to which no objection was made. Please note the Wikipedia policy WP:TALKDONTREVERT states that "Consensus can be assumed if no editors object to a change. Editors who ignore talk page discussions yet continue to edit in or revert disputed material, or who stonewall discussions, may be guilty of disruptive editing and incur sanctions." Hello, I've moved one of your recent edits on Berthe Morisot to the article's talk page. Remember that information in the lead paragraph must reflect information already present in the rest of the article, and that it must be written in an encyclopedic tone with proper citations to disputable claims. Number formatting[edit]

Please would you format numbers and currency correctly? See MOS:NUM, but briefly focus on

  • Numbers use commas between thousands and a decimal point, not a spaced comman, for the fractional amounts. e.g. 1,234.56
  • Currency - use £1{{nbsp}}million - with a non breaking space. Once this has been used in an article you may choose to use £1M (note this is in uppercase not £1m)
  • Convert units of measure, e.g. using {{convert}} - {{convert|7.5|mi}}

Any questions ask, but right now people are having the spend time cleaning up after you to make content manual of style compliant. 10mmsocket (talk) 17:29, 19 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Warning icon Before adding a category to an article, as you did to Reel-to-reel audio tape recording, Digital Audio Tape, Digital Compact Cassette, Magnetic tape, Microcassette, Mini-Cassette, Picocassette, Single-hole cassette, and Wire recording, please make sure that the subject of the article really belongs in the category that you specified according to Wikipedia's categorization guidelines. The category being added must already exist, and must be supported by the article's verifiable content. Categories may be removed if they are deemed incorrect for the subject matter. Please do not add articles to categories which are currently under CSD just for the sake of trying to save the cat. The category from which you removed the articles were more than appropriate, and would encompass the CSD'd cat. Picard's Facepalm (talk) 18:08, 27 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
