Tabiyus moved to draftspace[edit]

An article you recently created, Tabiyus, is not suitable as written to remain published. It appears there is a WP:UPE or WP:COI conflict. Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, and have addressed the UPE/COI issue, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. As per WP policy, please do not move into mainspace yourself. Onel5969 TT me 12:22, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you, the adjustments to Tabiyus page has been updated, please review the changes and thank you for bringing this my attention. Currently in process of making 5 to 7 additional articles and I don't want to run into this problem again. Please check the update to for the adjustments to that article and get back to me. MusicIsMade (talk) 13:15, 27 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
After reading the notices on this article, I confirm there is no payment (WP:UPE or WP:COI) of any kind coming to me for any/and all articles I've created. These people are already on wikipedia and do not have the write ups about them. I source all information from whats online, websites, non biased articles, and the obvious visual proof from television networks, YouTube, quotes and interviews etc of the living person/s or group.
I will be adding and have been adding important content to the wikipedia community that has not made it to the site yet.
As far as the things that you removed or addressed from articles that I sourced that was a copyright issue, I have fixed those errors and apologize for that oversight. Please let me know after reviewing if everything is in the clear. MusicIsMade (talk) 02:28, 28 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Your account has been blocked indefinitely for advertising or promotion and violating the Wikimedia Foundation's Terms of Use. This is because you have been making promotional edits to topics in which you have a financial stake, yet you have failed to adhere to the mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Paid advocacy is a form of conflict of interest (COI) editing which involves being compensated by a person, group, company or organization to use Wikipedia to promote their interests. Undisclosed paid advocacy is strictly prohibited. Using this site for advertising or promotion is contrary to the purpose of Wikipedia.

If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, please read our guide to appealing blocks to understand more about unblock requests, and then add the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} at the end of your user talk page. For that request to be considered, you must:

  • Confirm that you have read and understand the Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements.
  • State clearly how you are being compensated for your edits, and describe any affiliation or conflict of interest you might have with the subjects you have written about.
  • Describe how you intend to edit such topics in the future.

No one is getting paid or advertising. This a page I have done research on and have works cited an extensive amount of research. No payment Is involved. MusicIsMade (talk) 01:33, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Response to the Wikipedia Family: To whom it may concern is my full appeal. Dear Wikipedia Administrator, I am writing to appeal the automatic block placed on the IP address which has prevented me from editing pages on Wikipedia. I understand that this block was put in place because someone using this IP address was engaged in undisclosed paid editing, but I want to assure you that I am not involved in any such activity. I have been contributing to Wikipedia by providing information and citations to pages that were previously incomplete or missing. I can 100% attest that no page was done under any promotional gain, and I have cited facts on all fronts of bodies of work.
The whole point of Wikipedia is to put out information of these people that hasn't been issued, and that's what I was trying to do. I understand that there may have been some confusion or misunderstanding about my intentions, and I am willing to adhere and edit if there is anything you feel is promotional or irrelevant. I have looked at similar pages that are in the entertainment industry and provided all proof of each item. I am not receiving any payment for the work I've done, and I would be happy to provide any additional information or evidence to support my claim. I would appreciate it if you could lift the block and allow me to continue contributing to Wikipedia. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter.
Going Forward:
I appreciate your response and would like to apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused. I now understand that the way I presented the information in the articles was deemed promotional instead of informative. Moving forward, I commit to writing in a non-promotional and unbiased way that adheres to Wikipedia's guidelines.
I understand that my actions were unintentionally problematic, and I assure you that I will leave out any information that could be construed as biased or promotional. I am committed to following Wikipedia's guidelines and contributing in a constructive manner.
I appreciate your patience and willingness to work with me on this matter. I assure you that I am learning every day and will strive to improve my contributions to Wikipedia. Please accept my appeal and unblock me so that I can continue to contribute to this valuable resource.

Thank you for providing me with guidance on how to address the issues that led to my block. I have read and understand Wikipedia's Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements, and I confirm that I have not been compensated in any way for my edits, nor do I have any affiliation or conflict of interest with the subjects I have written about. I apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding that may have led to the appearance of undisclosed paid editing.
Moving forward, I intend to edit topics in a neutral, informative way that adheres to Wikipedia's guidelines and policies. I will avoid any language or content that could be construed as promotional or biased, and I will cite reliable sources to support the information I include.
Again, I apologize for any issues I may have caused and appreciate the opportunity to learn from this experience. Thank you for considering my appeal. MusicIsMade (talk) 03:05, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

Dear Wikipedia Administrators,

Sorry for the messages everywhere I am still learning my way around this site.

I am writing to appeal the automatic block placed on the IP address, which has prevented me from editing pages on Wikipedia. I understand that this block was put in place because someone using this IP address was engaged in undisclosed paid editing. However, I want to assure you that I am not involved in any such activity.

The page I was working on is not unambiguously promotional because I have provided factual information and citations to pages that were previously incomplete or missing. I have not received any payment for the work I have done, and I have no affiliation or conflict of interest with the subjects I have written about.

I understand that there may have been some confusion or misunderstanding about my intentions, and I am willing to adhere and edit if there is anything you feel is promotional or irrelevant. I appreciate your guidance on how to address the issues that led to my block, and I commit to writing in a non-promotional and unbiased way that adheres to Wikipedia's guidelines.

I have read and understand Wikipedia's Terms of Use and paid editing disclosure requirements. I confirm that I have not been compensated in any way for my edits, nor do I have any affiliation or conflict of interest with the subjects I have written about. I apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding that may have led to the appearance of undisclosed paid editing.

Again, I apologize for any issues I may have caused and appreciate the opportunity to learn from this experience. Thank you for considering my appeal, and I hope you will lift the block and allow me to continue contributing to Wikipedia.MusicIsMade (talk) 03:13, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Your account is directly blocked, not your IP address which is autoblocked. As you have an account, you need only worry about getting your account unblocked- the autoblock on your IP will be removed when the account block is removed. Attempting to edit via IP would be considered block evasion. If others are affected by this block, they may request unblock themselves and will need to explain why they are on the same IP as a blocked user.

I'm wondering why you have an interest in expanding anyone's "digital footprint" if you have no connection to them, and how you selected the subjects of your edits(for the same reason) as it doesn't seem to be at random. You also seem to still think that language like "Patrick Walker overcame a challenging childhood in one of the city's toughest neighborhoods to pursue his dreams" and "In 2014, Patrick R. Walker's passion for acting and filmmaking led him to create the short film "Caretaker," is not unambiguously promotional. Until you can tell us how it is, I don't see a pathway forward here. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 08:56, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

You've said on your user page that it is your intention to promote musicians. Unless you understand that promotion is not allowed, whether paid or unpaid, you won't be successful in your appeal. Deb (talk) 07:57, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Response:Dear Deb,

Thank you for taking the time to review my appeal. I appreciate your guidance and the opportunity to demonstrate my commitment to adhering to Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.

I understand that promoting musicians, artist, filmmakers, execs or any other subject is not allowed on Wikipedia, and I apologize for any confusion or misunderstanding that may have led to my previous actions. I have since familiarized myself with Wikipedia's policies on neutrality and verifiability, and I commit to writing in a non-promotional and unbiased way that adheres to these guidelines.

Regarding my user page, I acknowledge that my intention to promote musicians was misguided and inappropriate. I will ensure that any future edits I make are neutral, informative, and supported by reliable sources.

Once again, I apologize for any issues I may have caused and appreciate the opportunity to learn from this experience. I understand that editing on Wikipedia is a privilege, and I am committed to using this privilege responsibly and ethically.

Thank you for considering my appeal

Note that when making an unblock request, your initial statement should replace the words "your reason here". I've done this for you in this case. 331dot (talk) 08:56, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Dear Administration,

I appreciate your response regarding my account block on Wikipedia. I understand that my account is blocked, and I apologize for any inconvenience or confusion my actions may have caused.

To clarify my intentions, my interest in expanding anyone's digital footprint stems from a desire to provide accurate and unbiased information to the public. I have noticed that some cast members or performers from popular television series and concerts, as well as executives in the entertainment industry, do not have their own Wikipedia pages despite their significant roles in these areas. I have created a list of these individuals because I feel that their absence from Wikipedia is a disservice to their contributions and achievements.

I acknowledge that my earlier edits may have included language that could be considered promotional or biased. However, I assure you that I understand the guidelines and policies of Wikipedia, and I am committed to writing in a neutral, informative way that adheres to those guidelines. I apologize for any confusion caused by my earlier edits and commit to submitting any future articles directly to drafts for review by the Wikipedia team.

Regarding your comment about Patrick Walker's page, I want to clarify that I was unable to make any edits to that page due to the 24-hour block placed on my account.

I apologize for any issues caused and appreciate the opportunity to learn from this experience. Thank you for considering my request, and I hope that my account block can be lifted so that I can continue contributing to Wikipedia in a constructive and helpful way.

In light of the current block on my account, I appreciate the suggestion to create a new account and follow all guidelines should this account be deemed unusable.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

Do not create a new account. You personally are blocked. Until the block on this account is lifted, you personally are not allowed to edit Wikipedia. I want to be as unambiguous as I possibly can be. You personally are blocked. If there's even the slightest doubt on what I mean here, please make sure you ask a question. --Yamla (talk) 11:36, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your response and for being clear about the block on my account. I apologize for any inconvenience or confusion that my earlier edits may have caused. I appreciate the opportunity to learn from this experience and will honor your request to wait until the block is lifted before making any further edits.
I understand that you want to ensure that Wikipedia's policies and guidelines are followed, and I want to assure you that I am committed to writing in a neutral, informative way that adheres to those guidelines. I will continue in the meantime to take the time to review them thoroughly so that I can make valuable contributions to the platform.
In the meantime, I'll forward my drafts to other experienced users who can help me improve them. I will do that and wait for the opportunity to redeem myself.
Once again, I apologize for any issues caused and appreciate your time and understanding. Thank you. I concede have a great week ahead. MusicIsMade (talk) 12:14, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
