The article Pioneer Middle School (Washington) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Per WP:NSCHOOL and WP:SCHOOLOUTCOMES, ordinary middle schools do not warrant separate articles. Not to mention, there are several Pioneer Middle Schools in Washington, so the disambiguation is off.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Help me!

Is there any specific template to mark an article with many red internal links so that someone else can fix it? Bsoyka 04:46, 25 April 2019 (UTC)

We apparently do have a template for everything: {{Cleanup red links}}. You are also welcome to try to fix it yourself. Redlinks should be removed, for instance, if that same word or phrase has already been redlinked before in that section (or the page at all, if it's a short article). Redlinks should also be removed if the target is not likely to ever be an article, among other reasons. It could also just be a mistake, as well - perhaps the target page exists, but the correct name has not been used. You can read more at Wikipedia:Red link. GOCE May drive

Thanks very much for offering to review copyedits during the May drive. Since the "Reviewing" section on the drive page specifies "experienced Guild members", it might be more helpful to gain experience by copyediting first; it's something you learn by doing :-). See you in a day or so and all the best, Miniapolis 01:45, 30 April 2019 (UTC)

Miniapolis: So would you like me to remove my name from the reviewers list or leave it? It’s not a problem at all if you want me to remove it. Bsoyka 04:22, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
It would probably be best at this time. Please help us out by copyediting, and you'll be better able to review in the not-too-distant future. Have fun and all the best, Miniapolis 13:41, 30 April 2019 (UTC)
Miniapolis: Alright, I have done it. Bsoyka 01:03, 1 May 2019 (UTC)

Serial Commas

Hello, I have a quick question. What is Wikipedia's recommendation about using serial commas? Does it matter, or can editors simply choose their preference? Bsoyka 03:05, 1 May 2019 (UTC)

Hi Bsoyka, you can decide whether to use them or not, unless a style has already been established consistently in the article, in which case you should follow what's already there. In general, articles written in American English tend to use serial commas. See MOS:SERIAL for information about how to use them. SarahSV (talk) 03:23, 1 May 2019 (UTC)
SlimVirgin: Ah, okay. Thanks a lot for your help! Bsoyka 03:30, 1 May 2019 (UTC)

Hidden Category

I am working on making a template. How do I add a hidden category? Bsoyka 06:51, 6 May 2019 (UTC)

In the same way you'd add any other categories. Being hidden is a property of the category itself, not of the template. Compare Category:Hidden categories. Also of interest may be the codes <noinclude></noinclude> and <includeonly></includeonly> which make whatever is included between the tags not be transcluded or make it only transcluded when the template is used (if either pages the template is used on or the template itself isn't meant to be in that hidden category). Huon (talk) 08:29, 6 May 2019 (UTC)
Huon: Oh, okay. That makes sense. Thanks for your help! Bsoyka 13:04, 6 May 2019 (UTC)

On the talk page you state in the GA review that "6. Illustrated, if possible, by media such as images, video, or audio:". At that time (25 April), was the map in the infobox _not_ messed up? That is, did it appear? Right now it's just a little box icon you have to click on to see the map. Did that break _after_ 25 April? Shenme (talk) 03:37, 24 May 2019 (UTC)

Shenme: Yes, the map appeared fine before my review. See s.put.re/R5FgprNK.jpeg for a screenshot of the revision before the review on April 18. Bsoyka 03:47, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
Okay, I'll try to find someone to ask what has broken the maplink template(?) since then. This is possible _because_ you can say it's not a problem with the _article_. Thanks. Shenme (talk) 03:59, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
Shenme: Maybe try User:SounderBruce. It appears they last edited the article and edited it when the issue seems to have started. Bsoyka 05:19, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
I've reviewed the edits since 25 April (again, I think) and none of them should have affected the infobox because they are further down in the text. But I just saw something that made the hair on my head stand up. (Well, I've also got shingles on my scalp...) Go to Washington State Route 99. If you see the map, it might be just my browser. Otherwise, click edit, then click "Show preview". Does the map show up? It showed up for me during preview! I think I'll add that bit to my comment at Template_talk:Maplink#Washington_State_Route_99. Just plain spooky. Shenme (talk) 05:31, 24 May 2019 (UTC)
Shenme: Yes, that does seem to be the case for me. I’m running Safari on an iPad Air 2, iOS 12.3 (one of the betas). Bsoyka 06:23, 24 May 2019 (UTC)

September 2019 GOCE Newsletter

Guild of Copy Editors September 2019 Newsletter

Hello and welcome to the September newsletter, a brief update of Guild activities since June 2019.

June election: Reidgreg was chosen as lead coordinator, and is being assisted by Baffle gab1978, Miniapolis, Tdslk, and first-time coordinator Twofingered Typist. Jonesey95 took a respite after serving for six years. Thanks to everyone who participated!

June Blitz: From 16 to 22 June, we copy edited articles on the themes of nature and the environment along with requests. 12 participating editors completed 35 copy edits. Final results, including barnstars awarded, are available here.

July Drive: The year's fourth backlog-elimination drive was a great success, clearing all articles tagged in January and February, and bringing the copy-editing backlog to a low of five months and a record low of 585 articles while also completing 48 requests. Of the 30 people who signed up, 29 copyedited at least one article, a participation level last matched in May 2015. Final results and awards are listed here.

August Blitz: From 18 to 24 August, we copy edited articles tagged in March 2019 and requests. 12 participating editors completed 26 copy edits on the blitz. Final results, including barnstars awarded, are available here.

Progress report: As of 03:00, 23 September 2019 (UTC), GOCE copyeditors had processed 413 requests since 1 January. The backlog of tagged articles stood at 599 articles, close to our record month-end low of 585.

Requests page: We are experimenting with automated archiving of copy edit requests; a discussion on REQ Talk (permalinked) initiated by Bobbychan193 has resulted in Zhuyifei1999 writing a bot script for the Guild. Testing is now underway and is expected to be completed by 3 October; for this reason, no manual archiving of requests should be done until the testing period is over. We will then assess the bot's performance and discuss whether to make this arrangement permanent.

September Drive: Our current backlog-elimination drive is open until 23:59 on 30 September (UTC) and is open to all copy editors. Sign up today!

Thank you all again for your participation; we wouldn't be able to achieve what we have without you! Cheers from your GOCE coordinators, Baffle gab1978, Miniapolis, Reidgreg, Tdslk and Twofingered Typist.

Rollback, signatures, and everything else

Hey, Benjamin—I saw you weren't approved for rollback (yet!) but were very chill in receiving the disappointing news, and I appreciate your good attitude. I myself only added a bit of anti-vandalism work into my routine after almost a decade of being an editor, so I like that you're stepping up so soon. For what it's worth, I recently decided to ask for rollback privileges so that I could respond to stuff more effectively when I'm constrained to the mobile site, but that's after years working without that ability, so I know good work can be done with Twinkle or even just a keen eye and a can-do mentality. I'm sure you'll do great.

While I'm here, I wanted to note to you that your new signature uses a transcluded (as opposed to substituted) template, and that's a no-go on Wikipedia. I'm not well versed in all the reasons for it, but I understand that it's a pretty firm guideline. I think this old conversation might be a good starting point if you're looking for reasons for the rule, but you may need to just ask someone (I've always gotten helpful feedback from Redrose64). On a personal note, I'll say that I've had productive conversations unfold over the course of years, so I recommend that you not worry too much about alerting people to your hour-to-hour status. I know there are some hard-working people here who need to be reliably reachable because they're engaged in arbitration or mediation or whatnot, but mostly Wikipedia is a project with a distant horizon, and that's one of the things I find most beautiful about it.

Let me know if I can ever be of help. I'm usually aware of my (usually quiet) talk page, even during those weeks when my recent edits can be counted on one hand. —jameslucas ▄▄▄ ▄ ▄▄▄ ▄▄▄ ▄ 22:21, 1 December 2019 (UTC)

@jameslucas: Thank you so much for your kind and well thought-out message, it really means a lot.
As for the signatures part of your message, thanks again! I wasn't aware of that guideline, and I've adjusted my signature accordingly (take a look at the end of this message!).
I'll make sure to reach out if I ever need anything. Have a great day/night! —Bsoyka talk 22:35, 1 December 2019 (UTC)

GOCE December 2019 Newsletter

Guild of Copy Editors December 2019 Newsletter

Hello and welcome to the December 2019 GOCE newsletter, an update of Guild happenings since the September edition. Our Annual Report should be ready in late January.

Election time: Nominations for the election of a new tranche of Guild coordinators to serve for the first half of 2020 will be open from 1 to 15 December. Voting will then take place and the election will close on 31 December at 23:59 UTC. Positions for Guild coordinators, who perform the important behind-the-scenes tasks that keep our project running smoothly, are open to all Wikipedians in good standing. We welcome self-nominations so please consider nominating yourself if you've ever thought about helping out; it's your Guild and it doesn't run itself!

September Drive: Of the thirty-two editors who signed up, twenty-three editors copy edited at least one article; they completed 39 requests and removed 138 articles from the backlog, bringing the backlog to a low of 519 articles.

October Blitz: This event ran from 13 to 19 October, with themes of science, technology and transport articles tagged for copy edit, and Requests. Sixteen editors helped remove 29 articles from the backlog and completed 23 requests.

November Drive: Of the twenty-eight editors who signed up for this event, twenty editors completed at least one copy edit; they completed 29 requests and removed 133 articles from the backlog.

Our December Blitz will run from 15 to 21 December. Sign up now!

Progress report: From September to November 2019, GOCE copy editors processed 154 requests. Over the same period, the backlog of articles tagged for copy editing was reduced by 41% to an all-time low of 479 articles.

Request archiving: The archiving of completed requests has now been automated. Thanks to Zhuyifei1999 and Bobbychan193, YiFeiBot is now archiving the Requests page. Archiving occurs around 24 hours after a user's signature and one of the templates {{Done}}, {{Withdrawn}} or {{Declined}} are placed below the request. The bot uses the Guild's standard "purpose codes" to determine the way it should archive each request so it's important to use the correct codes and templates.

Thank you all again for your participation; we wouldn't be able to achieve what we have without you! Cheers from your GOCE coordinators; Reidgreg, Baffle gab1978, Miniapolis, Tdslk and Twofingered Typist.

IP block exemption request

This user's unblock request has been reviewed by an administrator, who accepted the request.

Bsoyka (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

Hello! I have discovered that my school's IP range is blocked, including while logged in. I'd rather not share the IP itself on my talk page, but let me know if you need it and I can email it.

The IP block reason states "{{schoolblock}}: To edit, please log in or create an account", but the block is not anon only, meaning that logging in or creating an account does not resolve the problem.

I submitted an appeal through UTRS but forgot to mention that the block isn't actually anon only, and it was quickly declined and I'm not able to make another yet.

I believe I'm a fairly well-trusted user with a decent edit count and no history of vandalism, and am requesting IP block exemption rights. Thank you so much in advance!

Accept reason:

I will give you a short term exemption so you can resume editing. For a longer term one you will need to follow the instructions at WP:IPECPROXY to contact a checkuser. If you need to in the future, you may use WP:UTRS to make private unblock requests. 331dot (talk) 07:40, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

I've fixed the block on that range, so you shouldn't have any trouble in the future. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆 𝄐𝄇 14:00, 8 May 2021 (UTC)

15:08, 10 May 2021 (UTC)

You appear to be reverting indiscriminately without being aware of what you are doing. You appear to be using an automated script ("Twinkle") so you can (presumably) revert other editors without even reading what they wrote. My edits to Sadiq Khan removed red error messages but you simply added them back. Why did you do this? 95.148.229.85 (talk) 11:34, 11 May 2021 (UTC)

That's quite a heavy accusation, particularly from a new user who hasn't even taken the time to create an account. Twinkle is a semi-automated tool, meaning it requires human review and interaction for every reversion or other edit. I can assure you that I carefully review each edit that I revert.
Since you didn't add an edit summary to either of your edits to Sadiq Khan, how was I meant to know why you removed the {{sfn}} templates? To me, it appeared you had removed them for no reason, as I had no idea you were doing so to remove error messages, and I can't read your mind. Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 13:01, 11 May 2021 (UTC)
Note: If you only came here to argue and will never admit the possibility that you're in the wrong (similar to here), there's no use discussing this further and you can leave.

<Melissasears1: i just want to understand wikipedia better im trying to setup a knowledge panel through wikipedia i know that this is the number 1 source that it comes from so if you could help me with any information that will help me with that, that would be really helpful.>

Melissasears1 (talk) 13:40, 12 May 2021 (UTC)

@Melissasears1: Hey! So first off, keep in mind that Wikipedia doesn't control Google Knowledge Graphs in any way – they may use a Wikipedia article for it or they may not, but we as Wikipedians don't have control over that. As for that article, it was declined for not citing any reliable sources (or any sources at all, for that matter). You'll need to work on that before the draft can be accepted. Rollback granted

Hi Bsoyka. After reviewing your request for "rollbacker", I have enabled rollback on your account. Keep in mind these things when going to use rollback:

  • Getting rollback is no more momentous than installing Twinkle.
  • Rollback should be used to revert clear cases of vandalism only, and not good faith edits.
  • Rollback should never be used to edit war.
  • If abused, rollback rights can be revoked.
  • Use common sense.

If you no longer want rollback, contact me and I'll remove it. Also, for some more information on how to use rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback (even though you're not an admin). I'm sure you'll do great with rollback, but feel free to leave me a message on my talk page if you run into troubles or have any questions about appropriate/inappropriate use of rollback. Thank you for helping to reduce vandalism. Happy editing! Anarchyte (talk) 07:07, 18 May 2021 (UTC)

@Anarchyte: Thank you so much for taking the time to do this – I really appreciate it! Have a great day! Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 13:13, 18 May 2021 (UTC)

River Plate (Montevideo)

Hi Bsoyka. I've noticed that you reverted more citations needed template removal from the so called article. Let me emphasize that I've referenced the article with reliable sources: AUF's links, as well as River Plate (Montevideo) official site information. Official uruguayan digital newspapers (El Observador) are also cited.

Therefore, I shall request you to stop adding this template to River Plate article.

Sincerely, VH1982. 21:14, May 19th, 2021 (UTC)

Hi, VH1982! I'm not sure if you're 167.57.201.209 (talk), but I removed the template because the edit didn't fix the issue at the same time nor did it have an edit summary. At least one of those is typically expected when removing maintenance tags, so if the issue's been fixed, feel free to remove it properly.
Looking at your edits, you've used edit summaries in only about 10% of them, so as a general piece of advice, you should make sure to add one in most cases. Also, you should use four tildes (~~~~) to sign your messages rather than typing your signature manually.
Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with, and have a great day! Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 22:28, 19 May 2021 (UTC)

Draft Help :)

Hi Bsoyka! I'm just reaching out because I'm relatively new to Wikipedia article creation and you seemed like a friendly person! I submitted an AFC draft a few months ago and haven't really heard back from anyone. I know that the process can be long and I need to be patient, but I'm wondering if you could help me out in any way? I understand that you might not be interested, though if you are, could you please help me out with my draft? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Breaktime_(organization) Thank you so much. WikiSpitfire (talk) 15:15, 20 May 2021 (UTC)

Hey, WikiSpitfire! Your draft looked good to me, so I've approved it and moved it into the article space. You can find it at Breaktime (organization)! I also created a disambiguation page since there's a novel with the same name. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with – have a great day! Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 17:50, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
Hey Bsoyka @Bsoyka:, thank you so much! I really appreciate you taking the time to help me :) The message you left on my talk page says that I can create articles without posting a request- can you clarify what that means? Again, thank you so much Bsoyka! WikiSpitfire (talk) 19:17, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
@WikiSpitfire: Sure, I can explain that for you! What you just did was submit an article through Articles for Creation (AfC), which anyone, including users without accounts, can do. (Note the previous Draft: at the start of the article name.) Since you've made a few more edits on the site, you can now create articles directly in the article namespace, skipping the AfC process altogether. WP:YFA might be able to help you with that process. Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 20:18, 20 May 2021 (UTC)
Sounds great, thank you so much for everything! WikiSpitfire (talk) 21:17, 20 May 2021 (UTC)

Bio Page RE: My husband Jay Chavez

Hi Bsoyka! Thank you so much for reaching out and being willing to help me with this. I would be at a total loss in how to proceed on my own. So I'm not sure what info you would like to start with. Maybe you want to search him on google and familiarize yourself with what info is already out there? His name is Jay Chavez, founder of the Jay Chavez Band. Our official website is www.jaychavez.com which has a bit of information on it. I can also start to put together some easy hard data for you (dates, marriages, degrees, early life, etc) if you would like. I want to give you my personal email so that we can easily communicate if that's easier (I know it is for me, wiki can be a bit confusing in how to format stuff). it's: [email protected]. Let me know whatever it is that you require and I'll get it. And again, thank you SO much for volunteering for this!

Cheers! CassidyRoseL-C (talk) 20:52, 6 May 2021 (UTC)

Hey, CassidyRoseL-C, glad you decided to stop by! I've made a page at User:Bsoyka/Jay Chavez, which is where I'll work on this draft for now. I'll start off with the "In The News" page on his website and will look into the bio on his "Press" page, although there are some special guidelines I'll have to stick to with that part.
Also, keep in mind that unfortunately I can't get other info directly from you unless you can provide some other reliable, published source that can support it, since that would probably be considered original research and all content on Wikipedia needs to be verifiable by others.
Let me know if you have any questions for me – I'll work on it soon and will keep you up-to-date on this page. Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 22:43, 6 May 2021 (UTC)
@Bsoyka: That's Great! Thank you. And as for the tech/entrepreneur side you can just do a google search of "Jay Chavez Ursus Telecom"; "Jay Chavez IBM"; "Jay Chavez Thestream.com". that should pull up some good stuff. He also got his degrees from U.C.Berkeley, should be easy to corroborate that. Oh and also, His legal name is Steven Jay Chavez but he's never gone by Steven so on the more technical stuff it's usually listed as S. Jay Chavez. Just so you don't get confused :) Thank you again!

To editor CassidyRoseL-C: Super sorry for the long delay, this kinda got stuck on the backburner for a while. All done, you can find the article at Jay Chavez now! Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 15:00, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

Jay Chavez moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Jay Chavez, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. PRAXIDICAE🌈 15:17, 9 June 2021 (UTC)

@Praxidicae: Can you let me know what still needs to be referenced? There are eight independent citations on there, including four that focus primarily on the subject (although one of them is self-published). I'm just confused because it seemed ready for mainspace to me, and I've seen plenty of stubs with much less. Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 15:23, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
There are not 8 independent sources, half are sponsored posts. blackhat SEO or press releases. There is no evidence this guy is notable as a musician and certainly not as a business person. PRAXIDICAE🌈 15:24, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
@Praxidicae: Alright, so I removed the phrase about him as a businessman, but I don't see anything wrong with the remaining sources. Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 15:31, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
not a single source is in depth coverage or independent of him. They're all literally a single passing mention, PR or completely unreliable. PRAXIDICAE🌈 15:32, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
@Praxidicae: Super sorry, but how are any of these passing mentions or unreliable? Every single one that's left goes into detail about his career as a musician. [15] [16] [17] [18] Sure, the first one is self-published, but it seems to be perfectly fine per the requirements at WP:BLPSELFPUB. Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 15:37, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
1.) is his website 2.) is sponsored content, it literally says as much at the bottom and 3.) is a completely fake news site - it's black hat SEO and sponsored content 4.) is also a blackhat SEO "interview" site with no actual editorial board and is pay for publication. PRAXIDICAE🌈 15:39, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
@Praxidicae: 1) Why does that make it unreliable as a source? Seems to meet WP:BLPSELFPUB to me. 2-4) I don't see what's making you so suspicious of these sites. New Music Weekly even has an article here and I don't see where you see that it's sponsored content. Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 16:22, 9 June 2021 (UTC)
take a read of WP:RS, websites that publish content for pay, especially using fake journalists (literally, emonthly has photos of a Kardashian, Selena Gomez and several scientific researchers pretending to be other people) cannot be used for anything. It doesn't qualify for SPS either. He isn't notable. Please do not ping me in every response, I will see this on my watchlist. Further, having an article on a source doesn't mean it's reliable. Hi,

I'm trying to create a wikipedia page. What are the steps to save, and submit a draft?

I have the script, just need to make sure my account is active.

Thank you in advance!

@Coonoor block coordinator icds: As I mentioned in the previous section, content creation is one of the hardest things you can do on Wikipedia, so I recommend starting off with making smaller edits first. However, Help:Your first article can guide you through creating an article. Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 15:41, 15 June 2021 (UTC)

Hey Bsoyka,

How come this Draft of mine is not supported by adequate reliable sources? There are literally official channels, including the governor's official Twitter that has his video too. Some big sites like Reuters too. — Preceding unsigned comment added by SAMsohot (talkcontribs) 17:34, 14 June 2021 (UTC)

@SAMsohot: You added seven of the eight references after I declined your draft. Please resubmit it if you believe it can be published now, although I don't recommend using a tweet as a source due to the fact that it's self-published. Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 04:34, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
Hey Bsoyka, I didn't notice that. I have resubmitted again. Please have a look. Also, it's from an official government channel for an official law, the references page says that "In most cases, Twitter accounts should only be cited if they are verified accounts or if the user's identity is confirmed in some way." So, it's coming directly from the Governor, there is no better source than this! SAMsohot (talk) 18:39, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
@SAMsohot: Ah, missed that, sorry – the tweet should be good. I've also left a comment on the draft. Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 21:28, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
@SAMsohot: Apologize for jumping in univited, but I think something more that a single sentence with seven citations added to it is needed here. I came across this the first time you asked about it at Wikipedia:Teahouse/Questions/Archive 1111#Draft:Sam Virtual Assistant. You seem to have followed my advice and asked about this at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject LGBT studies#https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Florida_Transgender_Female_Athletes_Bill, but didn't follow up. Did you check the responses you got there because they weren't very positive? That doesn't mean that a stand-alone article about this shouldn't be written, but perhaps right now it's maybe WP:TOOSOON or too WP:RECENT to write a proper one, particularly if editors who seem to have some familiarity with the subject matter think so. Anyway, I'm not an AFC reviewer and perhaps Bsoyka is looking at this differently, but I think you should try to do better that re-submitting a single sentence stub with just some more sources added to it. Article creation is hard for sure, but you should (at least in my opinion) be a little more willing to develop a draft before submitting for review. You seem to want to create lots of new articles (which is a good thing), but you should strive to do more than single-sentence stubs with multiple citations tacked on at the end like you also did with Draft:Sky Pool and Draft:Sam Virtual Assistant. -- Marchjuly (talk) 22:14, 15 June 2021 (UTC)
Fairness in Women’s Sports Act sounds good. I don't know, I think I read it on one of the references. I tried searching, but couldn't find a proper reference. Well, I believed Sam Virtual Assistant is a good one because the internet was taken by it. And Sky Pool seemed unique enough to be notable. Marchjuly I am still unable to see the reply! I am not being notified and the page leads to somewhere else. SAMsohot (talk) 05:00, 16 June 2021 (UTC)
@SAMsohot:. The link I added for the talk page discussion I mentioned above was incorrect. The correct link is Wikipedia talk:WikiProject LGBT studies#https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:Florida_Transgender_Female_Athletes_Bill. My apologies for the confusion. Just for reference, you're not always going to be notified when you receive a response to a question you ask, unless the other editor WP:PINGs you. So, you should add the page to your watchlist and occasionally check on it for responses just in case you're not pinged. -- Marchjuly (talk) 08:37, 16 June 2021 (UTC)
Marchjuly Great. Got it now! Well, I created that topic because I have seen really short stubs, and Wikipedia says Stubs are topics which don't have much information available but is notable/relevant to be created. So, I tried this because it is an official law. Nothing much. SAMsohot (talk) 02:48, 17 June 2021 (UTC)

I understand what your saying. Your not sure if I am a reliable source. Understandable. Where do I go on Wikipedia to prove my credibility? Or alternatively should I add something like unverified facts at the end of my edits. I also posted this on my page (was not sure where to put it) Thanks again for your help and time

So what kinds of people do you trust. Because if I have to be a celebrity I think I could do it ( I might need a few months) but if your talking government official I don’t think I will ever get there. I assume you can use direct quotes because those are reliable. Can I quote myself? All of these rules are very confusing. To be honest I just want to help people get correct information. I mean I trust myself more than a website. I feel like I would know if I was lying but I might not know if a website was lying. You see what I mean. Thanks so much to responding to my endless questions. I know looking for errors on Wikipedia is not a job… but if it was I would give you my highest recommendation. Question from Peter Pinguin (16:13, 2 July 2021)

hi, how can i add a new wikepedia page? --Peter Pinguin (talk) 16:13, 2 July 2021 (UTC)

@Peter Pinguin: Put simply, you shouldn't yet. Creating an article is one of the hardest things you can do on Wikipedia, and you should start with some smaller tasks first. Bsoyka (talk · contribs) 17:11, 2 July 2021 (UTC)
