"Hsiung Feng III hypersonic nuclear missile"[edit]

The page for the Hsiung Feng III does not state it to be "nuclear-capable" or list it as having hyper-sonic speeds. I don't think listing it as "hypersonic nuclear" on this page would be accurate at all. It would also imply that Taiwan has hyper-sonic missiles as well as nuclear weapons to mount on the missiles, which is untrue for the reasons that been discussed on the talk page for the Hsiung Feng III already. 118.168.100.131 (talk) 19:55, 4 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

This and other false statements are an issue again, I think this page needs protection. Horse Eye Jack (talk) 17:24, 23 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I note that the RFC on the HF-3 page has closed with the conclusions that the HF-3 does not have nuclear, chemical, or biological warheads, does not appear be hypersonic, and that the three sources continually used to claim so are not up to wikipedia standards. Revert recent edit by 218.53.242.15[edit]

Please revert the most recent vandalism by 218.53.242.15, almost all of this has already been covered on the Hsiung Feng III talk page. Claims that a non-nuclear state is in fact a nuclear state are a little more serious than garden variety vandalism. Horse Eye Jack (talk) 15:05, 24 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: please establish a consensus for this alteration before using the {{edit protected}} template. Reaper Eternal (talk) 03:47, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

RfP on Sources, HF-3, and Vessel Speed[edit]

An WP:RFC has been filed to bring editors to a consensus on various issues regarding the Tuo Chiang-class corvette. There are two conflicts here, the first is conflict is around the class's Hsiung Feng III missiles and the second is around the capabilities of the Corvette itself.

First, is the HF-3 hypersonic and nuclear armed? See Talk:Hsiung Feng III#RfC On Sources, Nukes, and Speed

Second, is the language currently used to describe the class’s superlatives moving into puffery territory or is it still supported by the sources?

Please comment below. Horse Eye Jack (talk) 17:29, 25 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

What is your brief and neutral statement? This RfC is far too big for Legobot to handle, consequently the entry at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Maths, science, and technology consists of a heading only, and the RfC will not be publicised via WP:FRS. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 12:32, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Never made one of these before, is this an acceptable length? Horse Eye Jack (talk) 15:12, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, the way to check is to wait at least one hour after making your edit, and then look at Wikipedia:Requests for comment/Maths, science, and technology again to see if it now shows - and it does. You can include the extra detail if you like, but it must be after the first timestamp. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 18:10, 26 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Recent editing[edit]

Just a heads up to all users, the ip currently inserting info also had a thing over at Corvette with me. Same MO. Llammakey (talk) 18:41, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

User:Mfb/Taiwanese articles is the general repository for information about this, MO has been the same for years with no effective administrative action taken. Your contribution would be most welcome. Horse Eye Jack (talk) 19:00, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
I tried at the Help Desk but was essentially told to bugger off. I will add my interactions. Thank you. It has been most frustrating. Llammakey (talk) 19:11, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
The ineffectiveness of the administrators in ending this problem is by far more frustrating than the actual vandalism itself. Be mindful as they tend to seek retribution when thwarted. Horse Eye Jack (talk) 19:16, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
