Alphabet speech[edit]

I notice that Jeffries' "Alphabet speech" got a lot of coverage: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=speaker+of+the+house+alphabet+speech&atb=v329-1&t=chromentp&ia=web

Perhaps it's worth mentioning even though it's just one event. ~Anachronist (talk) 15:00, 2 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

he also knows signing. Someone get him a laser pointer. If you make him put his hands in his pockets can he talk? 2600:1004:B111:5631:23:E808:B376:8BA0 (talk) 00:07, 21 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned references in Hakeem Jeffries[edit]

I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Hakeem Jeffries's orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. Feel free to remove this comment after fixing the refs. AnomieBOT 14:53, 18 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Congressional Progressive Caucus[edit]

Jeffries is no longer listed as a member. Check their website. User keeps listing him as a member. 73.29.10.120 (talk) 18:36, 20 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed; unless someone has an updated source confirming membership after Rep. Jeffries became House Minority Leader, please do not add this reference. Page is now supported & monitored by WP:AmPol. Wispinn (talk) 22:07, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Bias[edit]

Jeffries is noted for his ability to work with Democrats across the caucus and Republicans on shared goals. Considered a centrist, he has said he is willing to work with Republicans "whenever possible, but we will also push back against extremism whenever necessary." - this part is extremely biased and subjective, and there are no links pinned. It goes against principles of objectivity and neutral point of view Ruhrob (talk) 12:13, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Jeffries' position on 2016 election, general tenor of entry[edit]

Why is there nothing in this entry about Jeffries' repeated allegations of illegitimacy concerning the 2016 presidential election? This article is a puff-piece, clearly written by or on behalf of Jeffires and unreviewed by an objective editor. Entries of this kind discredit Wikpedia.
