Their mainspace work, especially in weather and current events related articles, is solid too, with 4 DYKs, 3 GAs and several [[Wikipedia:In the news|In The News]] nominations. In short, they are an excellent content creator and a vandal fighter at the same time. I wouldn't be surprised if I see them with a mop and bucket one day. New Pages Patrol newsletter June 2023

Hello Tails Wx,

New Page Review queue April to June 2023

Backlog

Redirect drive: In response to an unusually high redirect backlog, we held a redirect backlog drive in May. The drive completed with 23851 reviews done in total, bringing the redirect backlog to 0 (momentarily). Congratulations to Hey man im josh who led with a staggering 4316 points, followed by Meena and Greyzxq with 2868 and 2546 points respectively. See this page for more details. The redirect queue is steadily rising again and is steadily approaching 4,000. Please continue to help out, even if it's only for a few or even one review a day.

Redirect autopatrol: All administrators without autopatrol have now been added to the redirect autopatrol list. If you see any users who consistently create significant amounts of good quality redirects, consider requesting redirect autopatrol for them here.

WMF work on PageTriage: The WMF Moderator Tools team, consisting of Sam, Jason and Susana, and also some patches from Jon, has been hard at work updating PageTriage. They are focusing their efforts on modernising the extension's code rather than on bug fixes or new features, though some user-facing work will be prioritised. This will help make sure that this extension is not deprecated, and is easier to work on in the future. In the next month or so, we will have an opt-in beta test where new page patrollers can help test the rewrite of Special:NewPagesFeed, to help find bugs. We will post more details at WT:NPPR when we are ready for beta testers.

Articles for Creation (AFC): All new page reviewers are now automatically approved for Articles for Creation draft reviewing (you do not need to apply at WT:AFCP like was required previously). To install the AFC helper script, visit Special:Preferences, visit the Gadgets tab, tick "Yet Another AFC Helper Script", then click "Save". To find drafts to review, visit Special:NewPagesFeed, and at the top left, tick "Articles for Creation". To review a draft, visit a submitted draft, click on the "More" menu, then click "Review (AFCH)". You can also comment on and submit drafts that are unsubmitted using the script.

You can review the AFC workflow at WP:AFCR. It is up to you if you also want to mark your AFC accepts as NPP reviewed (this is allowed but optional, depends if you would like a second set of eyes on your accept). Don't forget that draftspace is optional, so moves of drafts to mainspace (even if they are not ready) should not be reverted, except possibly if there is conflict of interest.

Pro tip: Did you know that visual artists such as painters have their own SNG? The most common part of this "creative professionals" criteria that applies to artists is WP:ARTIST 4b (solo exhibition, not group exhibition, at a major museum) or 4d (being represented within the permanent collections of two museums).

Hello @Tails Wx! I saw that you are a trainer for the counter vandlism unit and i wanted to ask if you could train me. Thank you! LuxembourgLover (talk) 17:19, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there, LuxembourgLover! I will be happy to train you. I'll set up a training page in the next 24 hours. I'm looking forward to training ya! Tails Wx (they/them) ⚧ 18:15, 16 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Tails Wx I had a question about finding the vandalism. What do I put in the row that says Diff of your revert“ where do I find that. I found two examples of vandalism I want to uses both on my sandbox page. LuxembourgLover (talk) 03:05, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@LuxembourgLover, you can enter the URL link of your revert of the vandalism, like this!

@Tails Wx Hello agin! I was working to revert edits and I found this user, his edit was bad but I am unsure what warning it give? Would it be Blatant vandalism? If so what leval? LuxembourgLover (talk) 15:01, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
To be honest, a 4im for vandalism would be best. Tails Wx (they/them) ⚧ 15:25, 22 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Tails Wx I am almost done with most of the Wx/CVUA/LuxembourgLover, however I have a question. I have seen two 1 2 act of vandalism that are the same, within one month. What is the best way to deal with this? This is a common act of vandalism on the page. LuxembourgLover (talk) 01:29, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If it's a common act of vandalism on the page, I would go ahead and warn the user vandalizing the page with uw-vandalism1. However, I honestly might've gone ahead and warned the user for adding unsourced content since, well, how did a "decisive Oklahoma victory" occur? I'm not sure how it's a joke either. Plus, only two of the same disruptive edits on the page isn't convincing me to determine that it is a common act of vandalism on that page. I'd say if the same four disruptive edits occur on a page, then, in my opinion, is a common act of vandalism on the page. Tails Wx 01:47, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Should I change the warning to unsourced content? I just thought it was a joke as the article never mentions that anyone won, also in the past people added "decisive Oklahoma victory, texas lost 1 bridge and dignity." Overall I do not understand the history and old edits. It is a really messy page. LuxembourgLover (talk) 02:21, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
No, I don't think it's necessary for now. If the same user comes back and repeats the edit, then you can warn them for adding unsourced content. But changing the warning now...seems unnecessary. Tails Wx 02:27, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have just about finished the questions on yhe training page. The only questions i have ledt are the spots where I put vandlism, do I need to find and revert 15 examples of vandalism before I move on? LuxembourgLover (talk) 02:44, 17 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Yup! Tails Wx 12:36, 17 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Tails Wx I need help. I have seen this user make multiple edits just to remove them. He also have made edits where he just cut and pasted random info. What should I do? I have used {subst:uw-subtle1} because it feels wired and is not helpful. LuxembourgLover (talk) 15:17, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I also used {subst:uw-test2} he just keeps going and I do not know what to do? It looks like a bot or something but I do not know. LuxembourgLover (talk) 15:20, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again, @LuxembourgLover! I've examined a few of their edits on Hema Sundar. The edits there seemed to be made in good faith, as I believe they were trying to add a movie that the subject had a role in. It's unsourced though, so uw-unsourced3 would be best should they continue to add the unsourced content. Can you provide a few links where the IP made "multiple edits just to remove them"? And also, the IP is not a bot. Tails Wx 15:38, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Edit 1 and 2 are simmer. I also found edit 3 and 4. I hope I linked those right. Just in case:

Just for easier access on desktop, [1] [2] [3] Tails Wx 16:09, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@LuxembourgLover, I've reviewed the diffs.
For the S. K. Misro article, I think the edits made there by the IP were made in good faith because it seemed to me like the IP was removing an unsourced film that the subject may have or not had a role in, and the IP also added a year for the film, which is fine considering that the film year is also in the film's article. However, they didn't provide an edit summary for the edit that removed the film–regardless, I think nothing should be done for now since I can't find a source that the actor played in the film that was removed.
For the P. Sai Kumar article, seems like it's an addition of unsourced content–they've added a film without a source. Plus, the article about the film doesn't seem to mention the actor, so reverting it would be best as it doesn't have a source. And as stated above, if they continue to add unsourced content to articles, especially to BLP articles, then the uw-unsourced3 should be warranted. Tails Wx 17:44, 11 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Tails Wx If you could look at example 11, User:The Banner and User:149.101.1.117, have been doing that a lot, and I could uses a second option. I have never see two users so focused on one user. Also User:Murray Hewitt NZ Consulate came out of nowhere created an account days ago just to comment on one of my talk pages. I could be over reacting and by asking you this they will probably probably see this they will get mad at me, they have been directly watching my contributions. All I want is another option and I am not trying to be mean or launch a personal attack. LuxembourgLover (talk) 15:23, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If you start looking over our edits, then please also look at his edits. Especially regarding to WP:CIR and the use of spell checkers. The Banner talk 16:08, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi there, @LuxembourgLover and @The Banner! I've looked over the edits on Lake Conroe and determined that the IP's edit summary is correct here. LuxembourgLover, I suggest, if you haven't, read WP:CIR. Sorry, but I'm not sure what you mean here is "well-sourced" since the sources about the claim failed to verify the information and didn't mention the "Coast Guard base".
Also, Google Maps is not a reliable source, per this edit. Additionally, please don't say here "No source", since there is a source for the subject living in that area further in the article. If you have any further questions, feel free to ask! Tails Wx 20:41, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Tails Wx I also want to ask for a second option on what seam to be watching my contribution, is this allowed? Anything I can do so I can edit in peace? I fell like I am more than cable of making edits without three people watching me, I also don't need a account who was created one day ago coming onto talk pages supporting the other side, if you asks me its an alt-account or a friend of the editors. LuxembourgLover (talk) 22:49, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I do not want to sound mean or disrespectful, he could and is most likely a editor who just so happened to join theses discussions after joining. The whole discussion most notably on the Lake Conroe is falling apart so could uses some help or just a tip on how to fix it. LuxembourgLover (talk) 23:01, 13 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) – edit histories are open to viewing by all editors. If there are problems with someone's editing, there's nothing wrong with other editors looking at their edits. Given your editing patterns, it might not be a bad thing to have some edits reviewed by experienced users. As for accusations for sockpuppetry, you might want to stop that. WikiCup 2023 September newsletter

The fourth round of the competition has finished, with anyone scoring less than 673 points being eliminated. It was a high scoring round with all but one of the contestants who progressed to the final having achieved an FA during the round. The highest scorers were

  • New York (state) Epicgenius, with 2173 points topping the scores, gained mainly from a featured article, 38 good articles and 9 DYKs. He was followed by
  • Sammi Brie, with 1575 points, gained mainly from a featured article, 28 good articles and 50 good article reviews. Close behind was
  • Thebiguglyalien, with 1535 points mainly gained from a featured article, 15 good articles, 26 good article reviews and lots of bonus points.

Between them during round 4, contestants achieved 12 featured articles, 3 featured lists, 3 featured pictures, 126 good articles, 46 DYK entries, 14 ITN entries, 67 featured article candidate reviews and 147 good article reviews. Congratulations to our eight finalists and all who participated! It was a generally high-scoring and productive round and I think we can expect a highly competitive finish to the competition.

Remember that any content promoted after the end of round 4 but before the start of round 5 can be claimed in round 5. Remember too that you must claim your points within 10 days of "earning" them and within 24 hours of the end of the final. If you are concerned that your nomination will not receive the necessary reviews, please list it on Wikipedia:WikiCup/Reviews. It would be helpful if this list could be cleared of any items no longer relevant. If you want to help out with the WikiCup, please do your bit to keep down the review backlogs! Questions are welcome on Wikipedia talk:WikiCup, and the judges are reachable on their talk pages or by email. If you wish to start or stop receiving this newsletter, please feel free to add or remove your name from Wikipedia:WikiCup/Newsletter/Send.

I will be standing down as a judge after the end of the contest. I think the Cup encourages productive editors to improve their contributions to Wikipedia and I hope that someone else will step up to take over the running of the Cup. Sturmvogel 66 (talk), and Cwmhiraeth (talk)

Question from Helperaz2 (23:09, 4 September 2023)

Hello! Hope you are having a wonderful day! I would like to contest the speedy deletion of the page (Draft: Biren Zaverchand) because I feel that it was wrongfully deleted. I am more than happy to change/alter any parts that you feel aren't right or constitute "self-promotion". Please help!! --Helperaz2 (talk) 23:09, 4 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

(talk page stalker)@Helperaz2: I’m not sure the full context here, given Draft:Biren Zaverchand exists and isn’t deleted. That said, here is some helpful advice:
  1. It appears the draft is on Biren Zaverchand, which is a living person. So, the person in question has to pass the requirements of Wikipedia:Notability (people).
  2. To pass the notability requirements, an article needs to have secondary reliable sources, which contain information related to the person. These need to be more than a simple passing mention. You can learn about citing sources here: Wikipedia:Citing sources.
  3. A quick look at the draft shows that it is a single sentence and no secondary reliable sources are cited. If the article was originally in mainspace (i.e. Biren Zaverchand), and it was this quality, then speedy deletion would have been appropriate, given the article (current state of the draft) would not pass the notability requirements linked above.
Hopefully this helps! Cheers! The Weather Event Writer (Talk Page) 00:09, 5 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Helperaz2! It seems like it has been already deleted, and you’ve also re-created it.
Regarding the deletion, Wikipedia is not a place to promote or advertise. Repeatedly doing so may result in a block. You are also welcome to read WP:PROMOTION and WP:NOTADVERT to understand Wikipedia’s guidelines on advertising and promotion and why it isn’t allowed here. Hope this helps! Question from Meimpink (00:46, 6 September 2023)

Hi Tails. I made an account because it looked like my IP address was in a blocked range, so I was unable to fix a typo on an article I've successfully edited before. If you're familiar with how IP addresses and user-blocking works (I'm not, so I'm sorry if this question seems to be common sense), do you know if making an account will prevent me, for the foreseeable future at least, from IP-address-range blocks? --Meimpink (talk) 00:46, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, Meimpink! Yes, you'll be prevented from IP-address range blocks if you make an account. On an unrelated note, however, if a separate user connected to your IP address is blocked, then you'll be blocked as well. If this happens, you've done nothing wrong; simply request an unblock or IP block exempt. See WP:EXEMPT for further information regarding that. In the meantime, though–your account will be free of IP blocks in the foreseeable future. Happy editing! Tails Wx 01:53, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for the explanation! Meimpink (talk) 07:33, 6 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your incredible contribution to Hurricane Idalia

Hi! I was snooping around the statistics pages for Hurricane Idalia and I noticed how much work you had put into the article. I just felt like thanking you because, as a Floridian, I feel especially drawn to hurricanes and their respective articles which impact my home state, and you did incredible work in regards to our latest storm.

I felt especially concerned about Idalia because of its impact on a rural and poorer region of my state. I know if Idalia had impacted a more highly populated area of the state it would have been given much more love, though to be fair, there has been an incredible amount of love from you and other Wikipedians given to the article despite that.

So, thank you very much! Have a great day/night! ~~ RaskBunzzz (talk) 07:02, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hey there, @RaskBunzzz! No problem! Yes, I've also been tracking Idalia since it was a tropical wave and to develop and threaten Florida was especially concerning since it would undergo rapid intensification. And don't worry; I'll always try to update and add natural disaster articles wherever they impact and how intense they are! Tails Wx 12:11, 8 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Question from BlueshiftMonsoon (23:35, 9 September 2023)

Hi! I just started editing, and I’ve got a couple questions about sources for the Michael Bergmann article.

First, I was was looking for sources for the Style section and it turns out the entire thing is taken pretty much verbatim from Bergmann’s own website, which seems like a copyright violation. If so, what’s the best way to deal with it?

I was also looking for sources to confirm some of the film festival awards in the Works section, and the only sources I could find were Bergmann’s personal site and the IMDb page for the festival. (I tried to go to the festival’s website directly but for whatever reason it’s not loading for me.) I saw IMDb and self-published sites are both generally considered unreliable, so what should I do in the absence of other sources?

Thanks for taking the time to help, and I’d also love to hear any general recommendations/advice you have for starting out! --BlueshiftMonsoon (talk) 23:35, 9 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, BlueshiftMonsoon! Couple things.
First, if there is a copyright violation, you can request revision deletion by tagging the article under RD1 with Template:Copyvio-revdel and following the procedures there. However, I'm not seeing any close paraphrasing or copyright violation per Copyvio detector, so if it isn't close paraphrasing or copying-and-pasting or anything like that then it's not a copyright violation, so I wouldn't tag that page for revision deletion.
Second, if there's no reliable sources for the information/content then I would remove the unsourced paragraph due to original research and related concerns. BTW, do you have the festival website? I might try to find information and see if that source is reliable and has enough significant coverage of the subject to be used on that article (if it loads). Happy editing! Tails Wx 01:58, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I was looking specifically at the About page on Bergmann’s website – I did a few edits to the article before I started looking into the sources, but it’s still pretty much identical. When I put it directly into Copyvio Detector it says it can’t find any text on the page, so maybe there’s some weird formatting or something that stopped it from showing up in the general search?
Here’s the New York Independent Film and Video Festival website. It looks like it’s more commonly called the New York International Independent Film and Video Festival. If you can't find any good information, I can delete the paragraph (and I'll probably be checking the rest of the article anyway, since it looks like there might be more information without reliable sources). Thanks for the info! BlueshiftMonsoon (talk) 20:15, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Hi again, BlueshiftMonsoon! I've taken a closer look and yes, almost the entire section is a copyright violation. I've deleted the section and its text and listed the page at Wikipedia:Copyright problems/2023 September 10. And the website you've linked did not load; so it's probably a dead link or something. And the whole article looks like it needs work, good work so far! Wish ya luck in improving it, and although that page is under investigation, this will not stop you from editing. Happy editing! Tails Wx 21:04, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Great, thanks for your help! BlueshiftMonsoon (talk) 21:11, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

—delivered by MediaWiki message delivery (talk) on behalf of Imzadi 1979  on 19:00, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

I wanted to ask if you could create a sandbox for me? I am asking because I am interested in creating an article and would like to start by using a sandbox, and it would obviously be harder to do that in the community sandbox since numerous others would be editing over me. Plus, I don't want to rush into AFC right away, since that hasn't worked well with me in the past. 47.227.95.73 (talk) 21:47, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

 Done. Tails Wx 22:25, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Much appreciated. Cheers! 47.227.95.73 (talk) 22:27, 12 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Also, do you have any thoughts on the draft so far? This is my first major attempt at creating an article. 47.227.95.73 (talk) 00:16, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Doesn't look bad! Tails Wx 01:24, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
(talk page stalker) Hey, 47.227.95.73 (talk · contribs),
The article looks great! & One thing, I've fixed (a city in Japan) Takahashi to Takahashi, Okayama as it was redirecting it to a list of people with that surname. Cheers 🛧Midori No Sora♪🛪 ( ☁=☁=✈) 03:22, 13 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Question from Leng Navatra on User:Leng Navatra/sandbox (01:53, 19 September 2023)

Hello, My Wikipedia account doesn't has option move to publish. Could you please advice? How can I publish my Wikipedia? Looking forward to hearing from you soon. Thanks in advance.

Best Regards, --Leng Navatra (talk) 01:53, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hiya, I've added {{User sandbox}} to your sandbox. However, it seems like you've created an autobiography–I strongly suggest you do not do so. See WP:AUTOBIOGRAPHY for further information. Happy editing! Tails Wx 02:00, 19 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

DYK for Tropical Storm Danny (2021)

On 20 September 2023, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Tropical Storm Danny (2021), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that in 2021, Tropical Storm Danny became just the third named system to make landfall in South Carolina in the month of June since 1867? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Tropical Storm Danny (2021). You are welcome to check how many pageviews the nominated article or articles got while on the front page (here's how, Tropical Storm Danny (2021)), and the hook may be added to the statistics page after its run on the Main Page has completed. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Question from Pranay Chopde (07:16, 21 September 2023)

Hello sir....how can i prevent my article from deletion --Pranay Chopde (talk) 07:16, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Well, does your article, Pawar/Bhoyar, meet notability guidelines? I see there's a AfD discussion going on, so you really can't prevent your article from deletion unless notability is established with reliable sources. You cannot remove the AfD tag on the article either. And, that article has Wikipedia sources so that can't be used a reliable source per WP:CIRCULAR. Tails Wx 13:19, 21 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

New pages patrol newsletter

Hello Tails Wx,

New Page Review article queue, March to September 2023

Backlog update: At the time of this message, there are 11,300 articles and 15,600 redirects awaiting review. This is the highest backlog in a long time. Please help out by doing additional reviews!

October backlog elimination drive: A one-month backlog drive for October will start in one week! Barnstars will be awarded based on the number of articles and redirects patrolled. Articles will earn 4x as many points compared to redirects. You can sign up here.

PageTriage code upgrades: Upgrades to the PageTriage code, initiated by the NPP open letter in 2022 and actioned by the WMF Moderator Tools Team in 2023, are ongoing. More information can be found here. As part of this work, the Special:NewPagesFeed now has a new version in beta! The update leaves the NewPagesFeed appearance and function mostly identical to the old one, but updates the underlying code, making it easier to maintain and helping make sure the extension is not decommissioned due to maintenance issues in the future. You can try out the new Special:NewPagesFeed here - it will replace the current version soon.

Notability tip: Professors can meet WP:PROF #1 by having their academic papers be widely cited by their peers. When reviewing professor articles, it is a good idea to find their Google Scholar or Scopus profile and take a look at their h-index and number of citations. As a very rough rule of thumb, for most fields, articles on people with a h-index of twenty or more, a first-authored paper with more than a thousand citations, or multiple papers each with more than a hundred citations are likely to be kept at AfD.

Reviewing tip: If you would like like a second opinion on your reviews or simply want another new page reviewer by your side when patrolling, we recommend pair reviewing! This is where two reviewers use Discord voice chat and screen sharing to communicate with each other while reviewing the same article simultaneously. This is a great way to learn and transfer knowledge.

Question from Ajja Hasu (12:24, 24 September 2023)

I want to dedicate a wikipage for my grandad, can you help me with this? --Ajja Hasu (talk) 12:24, 24 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, @Ajja Hasu! Unfortunately, I would advise against creating an article or draft for your grandad since that's a conflict-of-interest violation, which is strongly discouraged on Wikipedia. Click on the blue link for additional information! Tails Wx 12:33, 24 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Question from ApexTriology (11:06, 25 September 2023)

Hi, I'm new user and decided to start editing Wikipedia. Basically I want to upload pictures of screenshorts of videogames in Windows PC. So, how does it work? --ApexTriology (talk) 11:06, 25 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, @ApexTriology! See Wikipedia:Uploading images. So basically, if the image is public domain or has a free license, it can be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons. If it is a non-free licensed image, then it can be uploaded to Wikipedia. There's also a Copyright policy on uploading images as well. So, regarding the screenshots of video games on a PC, I'm pretty sure they're copyrighted and aren't allowed to be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons or Wikipedia. Happy editing! Question from Equalflow (12:29, 10 October 2023)

Hi, someone changed the Black American entry of the Ethnogenesis page to incorrect information, and I have updated it with accurate, sourced information. Is it possible that I could have that section locked to prevent people from posting misinformation again?

I am an actual Black American who is very involved with and proud of his specific community and I have a pure obligation to protect the correct information. I appreciate your help.

Thanks! --Equalflow (talk) 12:29, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, @Equalflow! Unfortunately, we cannot protect the article (which includes the section, as the section cannot be protected itself,) as there is no ongoing vandalism or edit/page move warring.
Good work! At a glance, it looks sourced, though I'll review the information and the sources provided in the article just to verify the info that is referenced. Just one note that Newsbreak is an unreliable source and is deprecated. Tails Wx 13:21, 10 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Editor of the Week

Editor of the Week
Your ongoing efforts to improve the encyclopedia have not gone unnoticed: You have been selected as Editor of the Week in recognition of your great contributions! (courtesy of the Wikipedia Editor Retention Project)

User:Prodraxis submitted the following nomination for Editor of the Week:

I would like to nominate User Tails Wx for Editor of the Week. They can be seen doing virtually everything from countervandalism, AfC, CSD, NPP, cleaning up copyvios and more. Their mainspace work, especially in weather and current events related articles, is solid too, with 4 DYKs, 3 GAs and several In The News nominations. In short, they are an excellent content creator and a vandal fighter at the same time. I wouldn't be surprised if I see them with a mop and bucket one day. This nomination was seconded by Edward-Woodrow

You can copy the following text to your user page to display a user box proclaiming your selection as Editor of the Week:
