Hohenschwangau Castle

Hohenschwangau Castle is a 19th-century palace in southern Germany. It was the childhood residence of King Ludwig II of Bavaria and was built by his father, King Maximilian II of Bavaria. {{edit protected}} I propose the addition of Eid al-Ghadeer. This day is an important day for Muslims specially shia muslims. Mhhossein (talk) 19:19, 12 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Not done: @Mhhossein: I'd say that this was a worthy entry, but there's a problem: there's no mention in the article that the festival falls on 13 October this year. We would need a citation for this in the article before it could be added to the selected anniversaries page. — Mr. Stradivarius ♪ talk ♪ 21:55, 12 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Mr. Stradivarius: Thanks for your attention. This event is a non Gregorian-based one and so it's date changes every year. Even, every year, it's date is different in most of the countries based on their geographical location and because it is date is calculated based on lunar system. However, in many countries, 13 October coincides with this important event this year. Mhhossein (talk) 02:21, 13 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
Take a look at how it's done on Eid al-Fitr. You would need to do something similar. Thanks. howcheng {chat} 15:40, 13 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
@Howcheng: Thanks for adding it to the anniversaries but it was late and next year it will not be on the same date (13 October). Mhhossein (talk) 03:28, 28 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I have it on so that next year I'll know to move it to the right date. howcheng {chat} 06:12, 28 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
