Recently promoted to GA by me. Xtools shows 817 thousand page views in the past 365 days, with a daily average of 2,240. λ NegativeMP1 18:14, 19 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Verified: Significant contributor, responded to GA reviewer. No Main Page appearances. A couple big pageview spikes per above, but the baseline is steady. Assessing at 750k views. Awarded. (PS: thanks for the courtesy link to the article!) – Reidgreg (talk) 00:47, 20 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Might this qualify? It was passed at FA last year. Unlimitedlead (talk) 20:10, 4 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Verified: Major contributor, responded to FAC reviewers. Daily pageviews are well above 2k and steady. Based on the year before promotion, assessing at 1.3M pageviews. Awarded and HOF. – Reidgreg (talk) 02:25, 5 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Just passed FAC. 284,000 views last year. –♠Vamí_IV†♠ 04:27, 6 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Verified: primary author, responded to FAC reviewers. Just the one spike. Assessing at 278k pageviews. Awarded posthumously. RIP. – Reidgreg (talk) 15:52, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The article Catherine, Princess of Wales had 3,185,372 page views between 21 December 2022 and 21 December 2023 when it was listed as a GA. Also it has had 3,859,710 page views between 22 February 2023 and 21 February 2024, that is yesterday. The article was nominated by me, being one of its significant authors and active editors. A book related to the article also appeared on the Main Page's Did You Know column on January 9 this year. @Reidgreg: Am I eligible hence to receive the Million Award? Regards MSincccc (talk) 07:29, 22 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Verified: Authorship ranking is a bit low but a significant long-term contributor, with lots of work to get this ready for GA. I'm also including Keivan.f as a signifiant author and a fellow responder to the GAN reviewer. A couple big spikes. Assessing at 2.5 million pageviews in the year before promotion. Awarded and HOF. – Reidgreg (talk) 16:09, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Nota bene* Also, since this article was the subject of multiple deletion discussions, you both qualify for a Deletion to Quality Award. Awarded and HOF. – Reidgreg (talk) 16:09, 25 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The article William, Prince of Wales had 4,989,415 page views between 14 November 2022 and 14 November 2023 when it was listed as a GA. Also it has had 5,810,428 page views between 25 February 2023 and 25 February 2024, that is yesterday. The article was nominated by Keivanf, being one of its significant authors and active editors. A hook related to the article nominated by me also appeared on the Main Page's Did You Know column on 31 December this past year. Both I and Keivan worked together on the article and its entire GA process. We are both among the top 5 authors and also the top two editors of the page presently. @Reidgreg:: Are we both eligible hence to receive the Million Award? Regards MSincccc (talk) 09:11, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Verified: MSincccc and Keivan.f are major contributors and responded on GA review page. Discounting 800k views for a single large spike on 6 May, the day of his father's coronation. Assessing at 4.16 million pageviews. Awarded and HOF. – Reidgreg (talk) 19:34, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Well, since we are at it, one could as well look into the articles on Diana, Princess of Wales and Queen Camilla, because I feel those might be eligible too. Keivan.fTalk 14:21, 26 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Verified: Keivan.f responded to GA reviewer and is the largest contributor to the article. Some big spikes... Assessing at 5.2 million pageviews. Awaraded and HOF.
Verified: Keivan.f is a significant contributor to the article and responded to GA reviewer. The article title changed in the year before promotion, so I'm splicing together pageviews from Queen Camilla and Camilla, Queen Consort, discounting the spike where this change occurred. Assessing at 2.7 million pageviews. Awarded and HOF. – Reidgreg (talk) 19:34, 14 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Reidgreg: The article was upgraded to GA-class this morning. Article had 1,632,670 views between 20 March last year and 20 March this year. I hope this qualifies for a Million Award. Regards MSincccc (talk) 11:29, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Verified: Based on past 90 days of 456,065 (x4) the view count is 1,824,260. Even removing a few spikes above 10K it'd still be over 1.6 million. Last year was easily over 1 million without spikes. It passes with ease. CommunityNotesContributor (talk) 13:44, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@CommunityNotesContributor: Are you going to give the award and list the article on the hall of fame, or just tell us that it qualifies? – Reidgreg (talk) 15:37, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Was planning on just telling you it qualifies so you can add it yourself. I haven't checked the GA to be dishing out awards here, likewise with who to list in the hall of fame. Will leave that to someone else. CommunityNotesContributor (talk) 16:29, 21 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Reidgreg and @CommunityNotesContributor I have still not received the Million Award message on my talk page. I am the nominator as well the prime author of the article. I hope you both will look into the matter soon
Regards and expecting to receive the award soon. MSincccc (talk) 18:10, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
CommunityNotesContributor checked the article so I feel the easiest thing would be for this editor to follow-through. I can't do it without repeating everything from scratch (as I would have to do with, for example, an abandoned GA review or DYK review) and I don't feel that's a worthwhile use of volunteer time. I strongly urge CommunityNotesContributor to show some responsibility and finish what they started. – Reidgreg (talk) 19:50, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I was specifically asked if the article qualified for the award, not specific editors, otherwise quite frankly I wouldn't of bothered responding. Why don't you award each other? I've verified that the article qualifies, so surely you can just award each other? CommunityNotesContributor (talk) 20:45, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@CommunityNotesContributor: I don't believe that you were asked (specifically or otherwise). The request was addressed to me but you jumped in and took over. In doing so you took responsibility for the request. This is now yours to deal with as far as I'm concerned. – Reidgreg (talk) 01:15, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
My bad, I mistook your name included thinking it was a ping to another contributing editor rather than a request (missed the collon), as well that the ask was for verification rather than awarding. The wording of my previous should have been "It" not "I" as per specificity of the request. CommunityNotesContributor (talk) 10:42, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Reidgreg and @CommunityNotesContributor Still did not receive the award message. Regards MSincccc (talk) 03:32, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As @Reidgreg doesn't appear willing to fulfil your request, I've awarded you the MA in the spirit of personal honour. CommunityNotesContributor (talk) 10:46, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Well @CommunityNotesContributor and @Reidgreg, the article's name along with mine has still not been added to the Hall of Fame. I did receive the message on my talk page though. MSincccc (talk) 15:08, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
As per Hall of Fame: The table below lists some of the articles and editors who have been awarded the highest tier of the Million Award. Editors are welcome to add themselves or others to the list. As it's not based on "strict record-keeping", it bares no reflection on the award given to you. If you want to update the article, you are welcome to do so. Regular weekly pageview spikes with a decline in baseline views October–December 2023 and February 2024, suggestive of a TV show going on hiatus. Easily passes the million mark.  Later. In response to your edit summary: Hey, I'm an unpaid volunteer and I have a lot of other things to do on and off wiki. I sometimes wait for multiple requests so I can do them together and make more efficient use of my time. I'll get to it when I get to it (unless someone else does first). – Reidgreg (talk) 14:51, 15 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Not sure if this views is guarantee [1]. But, me and StarScream1007 helped this article turned into GA. 🥒Greenish Pickle!🥒 (🔔) 03:57, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

no No action: Primary authors of article. Greenish Pickle replied to GA reviewer and made most changes, with StarScream1007 also contributing article edits during the review process. No Main Page appearances detected. However, I'm only seeing 218k pageviews in the 365 days before promotion. That's the period I take for pageviews, and it misses that high block from mid-March to mid-April 2023 coinciding with the release of Resident Evil 4. Sorry. I've also missed out due to wait times on GA reviews. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Feel free to seek another opinion. Reidgreg (talk) 17:13, 19 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Reidgreg: The article was approved as GA recently. It has been viewed 4,391,953 times between 19 April last year and 18 April this year (2024). The article Dolly de Leon had 453,278 pageviews between January 31, 2023 and January 31, 2024 when it was promoted to FA. Also, it has had 272,313 pageviews between April 24, 2023 and April 24, 2024, that is yesterday. I expanded the article late last year and was nominated by me to FAC, having 89% authorship. Spikes may be attributed last year from January-March, during the acting awards season as she was nominated for a GG and BAFTA. The article also appeared on the Main Page's Did You Know section on January 5 this year. Pseud 14 (talk) 17:34, 25 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I searched for a mention of this article in the archives but I couldn't find any which is surprising. The article passed a GA review in May 2023 thanks to User:Tim O'Doherty's efforts and has garnered millions of views over the years. I'd be glad if one of the participants at this project could verify this and thus extend the award to the nominator. Cheers. Keivan.fTalk 23:50, 26 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Keivan.f The aforementioned article had 22,191,842 pageviews (60,633/day) between 22 May 2022 and 22 May 2023, the latter date when it was listed as GA-class. User Tim O'Doherty deserves a Million Award for his work. Regards. MSincccc (talk) 07:04, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Pageviews was a pain with the page move and multiple Main Page appearances thru Sep 2022, 10 Nov 2022, 7 Jan and 13 Mar 2023, and thru May 2023.
