Suspicious behavior at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/New York Dolls (album)/archive1, comments "grouped together" (see the subsection), the suspected socks are all recently created users with few edits outside voting support on this FA review. kelapstick(bainuu) 01:04, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • Two IPs from Macedonia voted in the New York Dolls FAC:

  • I was following up on Johnny338 (talk · contribs), but I see that they have freely admitted that they have two prior accounts, which they have abandoned. This is a failed WP:CLEANSTART attempt rather than sockpuppetry, and they are Red X Unrelated to any of the other accounts here. ​—DoRD (talk)​ 13:52, 5 June 2014 (UTC)[reply]

User Shane Cyrus, after having two unblock requests declined, posted a retired notice on their user page at 06:32 on 7 June (diff). Account Super Camille made its first edit at 14:34 on the same day. It currently has 156 edits, of which 62 are to 14 different pages that had been edited by Shane Cyrus (Editor Interaction Analyzer). Account Super Camille has requested the Guild of Copy Editors to copy edit the article Justin Bieber, indicating an intention to take that article to GA, in spite of never having edited that article -- but Shane Cyrus was a leading editor of that article (article history). Inspite of being indefinitely blocked, Shane cyrus has continued to edit under the IP addresses starting with 219.*.*.* as is evident from his talk page and other Miley Cyrus related articles. —Indian:BIO · [ ChitChat ] 15:49, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

  • I've blocked the  Confirmed sock Sick Caller (talk · contribs) and placed a couple of range blocks on the self-admitted IPs. I don't think we're at the point where talk page access needs to be revoked, however if they continue to post the same appeal that has been declined a couple of times already I'm sure it will happen eventually.--Jezebel'sPonyobons mots 17:59, 6 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
