Retarget to Black magic as the primary topic (also consistent with Grey witch/White witch). Though I'm not entirely certain, this seems to be the case from what I've found when searching. Randi🦋TalkContribs 09:52, 20 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Move DAB to the redirect. Randi🦋TalkContribs 14:24, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Dabify as per others. I don't believe "black witch" has a primary topic in black magic. Note that this wording was created by the nom of this RfD who has since changed their position. Natg 19 (talk) 21:18, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Since no one has objected at the disambig page, we'll have to go with black witch as the primary. @Randi Moth: even though you struck off your nomination of retarget to Black witch as the primary, you created the disambig page with Black witch as the primary topic. The result of the discussion was no consensus, disambiguate. No consensus between deleting and disambiguating, but a clear consensus against the status quo. (non-admin closure) Queen of Hearts ❤️ (she/they 🎄 🏳️‍⚧️) 07:52, 17 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned at target, very obscure name. As far as alternate targets go, there appears to be several options: Yellow-top redirects to Solidago juncea, and I think this might be the best option (though there is another flower variety called Yellowtops. There is also a Yellow-Top cab, Yellow top borer, Yellow top mallee ash. This could be grounds for the creation of a disambig page. Thoughts? TNstingray (talk) 18:10, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak Dabify I'm fine with the proposed dab at least for the flowers. I'm leaning delete since Top is capitalized. --Lenticel (talk) 06:29, 22 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, the current target was based on Old Yellow Top, which also doesn't have a mention at the current target. Hatnote the flowers - Solidago juncea and Flaveria, to each other. Yellow top borer and Yellow top mallee ash are partial title matches, so would at most be in the See also if there was a dab page. If the redirect was not capitalized, it could have retargeted to the target of yellow-top. Jay 💬 06:39, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget to Paris Is Burning (film): He is mentioned in the credits there, and a quick look at sources indicate he could be discussed further on that page. Eventually that could justify a mention on the Ball page as well but yeah until it actually happens, this seems better. Innisfree987 (talk) 05:32, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Oppose targeting to Paris Is Burning which only has a mention in the Infobox. There is more content at Pose (TV series) in the context of the House of Pendavis. Jay 💬 07:10, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. Jay 💬 07:19, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Delete per WP:RDAB due to the extra space between the title and the disambiguator. The title with the correct spacing, The Purple Rose of Cairo (film-within-film), does not exist, but it is not clear if it should exist. Apparently, this redirect is meant to refer to the topic in the edit history of the redirect The Purple Rose of Cairo (fictional film), which is a redirect that targets the same target as the nominated redirect, but the subject of The Purple Rose of Cairo (fictional film), per its edit history, is a subtopic of The Purple Rose of Cairo (which is confusing since the target article is also about a film.) is a redirect that targets the same target as the nominated redirect. Steel1943 (talk) 07:17, 28 November 2023 (UTC) Rationale updated. Steel1943 (talk) 18:04, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Move without leaving a redirect to The Purple Rose of Cairo (film-within-film). The concept of a "Film-within-a-film" (sometimes called a "film-within-film") is fairly well-established. BD2412 T 13:08, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@BD2412: I went ahead and created The Purple Rose of Cairo (film-within-film) due to what you said, and because the nominated redirect does not have a substantial amount of edit history that would need to be retained per WP:MOVEREDIRECT. Steel1943 (talk) 18:04, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
It doesn't, but it is always my preference to move them, since it most likely reflects the intent of the editor who created the redirect. It is neither required nor prohibited. BD2412 T 18:54, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. Yeah, it's a gray area, and I could have sworn there was another guideline that more specifically said something like "do not move edit histories of redirects unless the redirect contains substantial edit history, considering the redirect's creator intentionally created the redirect at the current title" or something of that regard, but I'm not finding it right now ... so I cited WP:MOVEREDIRECT as the only passage I could find. Either way, the nominated redirect was created as the result of a page move, so there is not necessarily any history that is necessary to retain anyways. Delete per WP:RDAB due to the extra space between the title and the disambiguator. The title with the correct spacing, Craig T. Nelson (character), does not exist and should not exist, given that the target of the nominated redirect is a biographical subject and not a fictional character, making the disambigator too erroneous to be helpful or likely. Delete per WP:RDAB due to the extra space between the title and the disambiguator. The title with the correct spacing between the title and the disambiguator, Dragon Ball Z:Super Butouden (series), does not exist, but neither should it exist due to the lack of space between the "Z:Super" instead of "Z: Super". In addition, the title with proper spacing and no disambiguator, Dragon Ball Z: Super Butouden does not exist, but a title with a slight spelling adjustment, Dragon Ball Z: Super Butoden, does exist. Contested PROD. Was converted to a redirect to Keene, California by user who contested PROD. I think this would be better as a deletion because the site is a non-notable railway point with almost no information found, which just happens to be close to Keene (which is notable). Fails WP:GNG and WP:GEOLAND, and it strains imagination to think anyone would be searching for a non-notable railroad site and find what they need at the Keene WP entry. WeirdNAnnoyed (talk) 03:29, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Keep The 1966 USGS 1:24000 topographic map shows "Woodford" as the location of the Keene post office and the Keene School, both of which are about 3/4 mile away from "Keene".
Some older topo maps showed a cluster of buildings at this location but did not identify them as Keene-related; they were just "Wodford". --A. B. (talkcontribsglobal count) 05:03, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. Mentioned at target article, which explains why the redirect is mentioned. (WP:GNG applies to articles, not redirects.) Steel1943 (talk) 08:05, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per both above. The presence of this name on the old maps makes it a plausible search term, and the redirect target contains relevant content. Thryduulf (talk) 15:45, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
