Retarget to Proton (disambiguation)#In business. Multiple companies named Proton; incomplete disambiguation. 162 etc. (talk) 15:40, 16 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Relisted to generate a more thorough discussion and clearer consensus.

  • Retarget per BarrelProof. * Pppery * it has begun... 01:36, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget per WP:PDAB and BarrelProof's rationale above. I think a reader looking for the Proton car maker would be more likely to search "Proton (car)" or something to that effect anyway; I think in this case since the bar for a primary topic is much higher, it's better to redirect to the dab page. --Sable232 (talk) 15:35, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • retarget per nom and BarrelProof -- 64.229.90.172 (talk) 05:55, 25 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was soft delete. Based on minimal participation, this uncontroversial nomination is treated as an expired PROD (a.k.a. "soft deletion"). Editors can request the article's undeletion. plicit 23:38, 30 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The target is unclear in why the redirect's phrase has exclusivity to the target; there could be readers searching a term like that that may be attempting to locate articles like or related to Abuse. Steel1943 (talk) 20:06, 23 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in the target article, leaving the connection between this redirect and the target unclear. In addition, Buzzword issue does not exist, and it seems the article Buzzword does not contain information about the nominated redirect's subject either. The result of the discussion was retarget to Anti-Social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014#Background. I've tried a rough job of expanding the section. (non-admin closure) J947edits 00:50, 2 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unclear why this term is meant to redirect to the city (not mentioned at target), but even if it is the city's motto it's, it's not a useful search term. Hey man im josh (talk) 15:53, 23 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was no consensus. While there's a majority in favor of redirecting, the issue of existing use was never addressed by editors proposing redirect, and requires consideration. signed, Rosguill talk 04:49, 8 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Implausible and nonsense redirect. Should be retarget to Template:Pseudo image. Vitaium (talk) 15:30, 7 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Relisting comment: Where to retarget?

  • Comment: Strong keep. In use. This was redirected as a result of this TfD, in which it was pointed out that the template previously at the redirect was redundant in functionality to Template:Image frame. As a template redirect, it should not be retargeted to something totally different, as it will break old uses and confuse users (if there were any) totally break all of the pages that currently transclude it. A trout to the nom for failing to check. Deletion could be an option as it's unused, but I'm not sure if this is the proper venue? --Paul_012 (talk) 13:28, 15 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Paul_012; Also Template:Pseudo image is a near-duplicate of Template:Image frame and should probably be merged or redirected. * Pppery * it has begun... 17:11, 17 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per above. The name may be a bit surprising, but actual use trumps more theoretical considerations. -- Visviva (talk) 04:45, 19 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • retarget per above. Frietjes (talk) 23:43, 20 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
@Frietjes: Two targets are being proposed above. Please clarify which do you prefer. CycloneYoris talk! 00:50, 22 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Orphan redirect from 2015. Redirect is not in use and there is no wiki content about this alleged day. This is NOT a Scientology holiday. Grorp (talk) 06:04, 23 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Agree with Grorp. North8000 (talk) 11:34, 23 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I originally created this redirect in 2015 as a replacement for a piped link; at that time the target article had an entry for 'Flag Land Base Day' in the Holidays section. However as that entry has since been removed, and there appears to be no such holiday, I'm happy to see this unused redirect deleted. Colonies Chris (talk) 12:46, 24 June 2023 (UTC)[reply]
