Young Justice (film)[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Delete all except Outsiders (film) as that has the best chance at continuing as a redirect (to The Outsiders (film)). Jay (talk) 03:47, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is a group of redirects with a (film) disambiguator to a comic book character or team that does not mention a film by that given name. Note that some of these articles do mention the character's appearance(s) in film, but that is quite a bit different from having an eponymous film. -- Tavix (talk) 23:33, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Weak retarget Outsiders (film) to The Outsiders (film), as even though that isn't exactly the film's title (and I'm not 100% sure this is the best course of action), people might misquote it that way, plus a Google search shows this other movie in the majority of search results (if that doesn't work, I'm also open to deleting it). Delete the rest per nom, as I couldn't find any movies by that title either (not even on the disambiguation pages!). Regards, SONIC678 17:19, 14 November 2021 (UTC), updated 17:23, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Retarget Outsiders (film), Delete the rest per Sonic. The former has the best chance, so I'd recommend retargetting for now, and creating another RFD in at least 6 months if someone still doesn't think that redirect works. OcelotCreeper2 (talk) 23:21, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

94415 and other hentai serial (?) numbers[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. All are obscure identifiers. Jay (talk) 05:53, 21 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned at the target, no relevant results in an internet search. Presumably a serial number, but unless this is a commonly used moniker it's not an appropriate redirect. Deletion seems the way to go. signed, Rosguill talk 20:14, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete All The source of these numbers is the scanlation website nHentai. This is not an acceptable alternate name redirect. Could 306936 (to The Titan's Bride) also be included for the same reason? Link20XX (talk) 20:30, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
 Done. -- Tavix (talk) 23:39, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete all. Completely incomprehensible to anyone who's not a hentai enthusiast. No possible encyclopedic value. JIP | Talk 20:44, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete all per everyone above me, these numbers could also refer to anything else, hentai or not (I second JIP's reasoning as well). D8 also applies here. Regards, SONIC678 22:24, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete all it isn't even a common identifier such as an ISBN, and isn't even specific to hentai piracy sites in general... It's specific to exactly one of them? Fail to see the point, and only useful to a fraction of a fraction of hentai readers. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Canadianerk (talkcontribs) 21:42, 14 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. I'll be blunt, but the only people who would know URL numbers from a hentai site are porn addicts. It isn't even a well-known one like 177013. Actually, even 177013 is questionable, given that this number system is only used on 1 hentai site, not hentai sites in general. (JayPlaysStuff | talk to me | What I've been up to) 02:37, 15 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete No point of keeping them, and nobody would know these numbers except for porn addicts. ThatIPEditor - Public (talk) — Preceding undated comment added 19:23, 18 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Human body temperature#Historical understanding. (non-admin closure) Qwerfjkltalk 11:05, 20 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

98.6°F is just one of a large number (infinite actually) of temperatures in the normal human body temperature range, which in any case is not well defined. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 08:28, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The temperature is in fact, very well defined as a historical value for the average normal human body temperature, which was determined so in 1868, and has been used widely ever since, even though recent research consistently found lower averages.[1]. The result of the discussion was speedy delete per G6, unambiguously incorrect namespace. There is also a bluster of snow. -- Tavix (talk) 21:48, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Weird project page, maybe we should delete it. Did Q28 make a mess today? 04:27, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • delete Someone created a draft, someone else mistakenly moved it to Wikipedia namespace, I moved it back to Draft namespace with a corrected disambiguator. This redirect was a byproduct. It looks like the draft will remain abandoned, in which case it will be speedily deleted under G13 in the first quarter of next year, at which point this redirect could be speedily deleted under G8. The value of the redirect is near zero, so accelerating its deletion should be harmless. --Worldbruce (talk) 05:05, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete this cross-namespace redirect. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 07:54, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete, misuse of Wikipedia namespace. JIP | Talk 14:52, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. If it was clear that the page move was to an accidentally incorrect namespace (e.g. it's not uncommon for people to move things to the Wikipedia namespace when intending to move to the article namespace) then it would be speedily deletable under G6 as a page created by mistake (or when fixing a mistake), but in this case I have no idea what the page mover was intending so it might have been intentional. Regardless, the redirect is not useful. Thryduulf (talk) 16:32, 13 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
