The result of the discussion was delete. Feel free to recreate if a sourced mention is added. -- Tavix (talk) 16:36, 6 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned at the target, no results on Google Scholar, delete unless a justification can be provided. signed, Rosguill talk 16:38, 8 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment I have come across this mention here, it's an official webpage, can be considered reliable. However no other mentions found. Maybe a search in Hindi may help. Less Unless (talk) 13:35, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Stub long-ago merged (no attribution necessary), the current target doesn't provide any useful information for this quite unlikely search term. Elli (talk | contribs) 17:47, 13 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment: This appears to be a relic from the earliest days of Wikipedia, when, I guess, it was common to place subtopics like this at subpages (i.e., this would originally have been located at Glorioso Islands/Transnational issues, which does indeed exist). When Wikipedia's programming language switched from UseModWiki to the PHP script back in January 2002, all of those pages were automatically moved from "Topic/Subtopic" to "Subtopic of Topic" titles. Of course, having a foreign affairs subtopic for the Glorioso Islands was silly, so it was redirected later that year. I don't know if this has any value as an {{R with old history}}; in any case, if it is kept, it should be retargetted back to Glorioso Islands. Compassionate727 (T·C) 14:40, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Next National Assembly for Wales election[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Elections in Wales#2026. Nominally no consensus, defaulting to retarget over deletion as no one has expressed any preference for the status quo. signed, Rosguill talk 05:34, 6 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

These redirects are no longer necessary. There will never be another 'National Assembly for Wales' election. While I can understand why this page may have been retained for the 2021 election, given the recent name change, that rationale no longer applies, and there is no valid target to redirect this to now. • Delete but not for the nominator's reason (I think it's reasonable to assume that a user might use the obsolete term for the Senedd) but because we have no suitable target article. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 12:58, 14 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was retarget to Financial statement. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 07:23, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned in the target, so a reader who searches for this is given no indication of what it means. The only articles that mention this in the body are AICPA Statements of Position and Statements on Auditing Standards (United States), neither of which seems like a viable target. – Arms & Hearts (talk) 16:29, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Fork of List of Perry Mason episodes by an editor trying to avoid consensus on the page. Not an actual search term. Calton | Talk 14:29, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Procedural close, wrong venue - the fundamental dispute here is whether or not Zeus Maximus' presentation of this information is suitable for inclusion in Wikipedia, and the venue to resolve that dispute is WP:AFD. Ivanvector's squirrel (trees/nuts) 17:00, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • That discussion resolved that the information should not be added to the existing list. There was nothing about that discussion that would preclude creating a separate list, and the venue to determine consensus on the suitability of that separate list is AfD, not your unilateral declaration that it can't be done. You contend that forking the list is an end-run around consensus; I counter that your blanking of it is out-of-process speedy deletion. The result of the discussion was keep. (non-admin closure) CycloneYoris talk! 07:20, 4 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Per WP:R#DELETE#8 / WP:RLOTE, " In particular, redirects in a language other than English to a page whose subject is unrelated to that language (or a culture that speaks that language) should generally not be created." A number of similar redirects can be found linking to this list, but before mass nominating I thought I should seek consensus on just one first.  Spy-cicle💥  Talk? 13:50, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete - per nom. Sergecross73 msg me 14:30, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. The guideline the nominator quotes is actually in favor of keeping it since Sonic is a Japanese series. In fact, the section it redirects to attests this spelling in a footnote, which also asserts the language's relevance. -- Tavix (talk) 16:25, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Tavix. Ivanvector's squirrel (trees/nuts) 16:55, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Tavix and Ivanvector. As the former says, there is a connection between the Sonic franchise (and by extension Silver) and Japanese, so this redirect is appropriate. Regards, SONIC678 23:56, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Comment - It spawned as a result of this AfD. The history needs to be preserved to keep attribution. Anarchyte (talkwork) 09:49, 8 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete As no content from the original article appears to be currently mentioned in the article, therefore preserving attribution is meaningless.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 08:59, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Delete No useful history to preserve.  Spy-cicle💥  Talk? 13:52, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete. Hopefully we can put to bed the attribution question, but no merge actually took place. It was redirected to Sonic X on 8 December 2006, and there was no corresponding merge addition around that time. I checked the history of Sonic X at that time, and I was unable to find anything extant had been merged prior and there certainly isn't anything there today. -- Tavix (talk) 16:40, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Propose deletion of first redirect. Propose disambiguation of second redirect between Showa Station (Antarctica) and Shōwa Iōjima. Propose retarget of third redirect to List of islands in Japan#Islands in Tokyo Bay. Don't know what are these actually referring to. 122.60.46.122 (talk) 09:51, 28 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
