Italian for "Spirit", with related meanings in some other Romance languages according to Wiktionary.[1] Not mentioned on the dab or the former primary topic article, spirit (animating force). I do not see any other good target so recommend deletion. (t · c) buidhe 22:56, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete. Knifegames (or others), feel free to create the article! -- Tavix (talk) 20:11, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

This is the name of a record label[2] (possibly notable?) that doesn't have a wiki article and isn't mentioned in the dab page. It should be a redlink. (t · c) buidhe 22:45, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • CommentAstral spirit exists but the record label has plenty of mentions and perhaps we should delete to let search do its job until someone creates the missing article. Certes (talk) 23:17, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

M156[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was retarget to Mercedes-Benz M156 engine as the primary topic. I will add a hatnote to the now established M156 (disambiguation). -- Tavix (talk) 20:18, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Retarget to Mercedes-Benz M156 engine as primary target. Search results indicate this is most common usage. The Michigan highway is more local in nature and normally written M-156 anyway. MB 18:49, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Retarget per nom. Searching for "M156" all but two hits on the first three pages were directly related to the Mercedes engine and the two that weren't were not related to the Michigan highway (one was a warning light for lorries and excavators, one was a makeup brush). Thryduulf (talk) 19:12, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disambiguate (rather like M178). There are other uses. I have drafted a page at the current redirect. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 07:58, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • I agree a disambiguation page is needed, I disagree that it should be at the base title as the Mercedes engine is the clear primary topic. Thryduulf (talk) 12:18, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    • I created M178 recently. There are a lot of Mxxx that are both Mercedes engines and Michigan highways. I agree that the engine is PT in this case, and possibly some others where the dab is currently at the base name. MB 13:23, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disambiguate -- 67.70.27.105 (talk) 01:37, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Disambiguate This needs a disambiguation page. While admittedly some of the Michigan highway pages are infrequently visited people in Michigan refer to them as "MXXX" so if someone wanted to look this up and got auto redirected to the engine they may assume there is no article. Strato|sphere 13:57, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
If the engine is the primary topic then a {{redirect}} hatnote above its article would enable readers to find the road etc. If not then we should restore the dab version of M156 (or move the new dab there). Certes (talk) 15:47, 5 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

GQP[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was Speedy Delete, G7. by User:Liz Lenticel (talk) 03:49, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not mentioned at the target or at Qanon, delete unless a duly sourced mention can be added. signed, Rosguill talk 17:00, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I oppose this. Reliable sources don't typically use GQP when referring to the GOP, and it is more of an attempted partisan attack than a commonly used name. Not that I have anything against people using partisan attacks per se, but they don't have any place on Wikipedia redirects.JMM12345 (talk) 17:38, 2 May 2021 (UTC)JMM12345[reply]

JMM12345, it seems like you're agreeing with the deletion proposal but phrased your !vote as opposition. Could you clarify your stance? signed, Rosguill talk 18:17, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
My mistake. I agree with the deletion proposal.JMM12345 (talk) 18:58, 2 May 2021 (UTC)JMM12345[reply]
  • Delete. While there are multiple sources saying things like "the GOP is turning into the GQP" there is not the primary topic on google - good quality practice (a pharmacy standard if I've understood correctly) and [[1-[(4-fluorophenyl)methyl]benzimidazole]] (a chemical compound) are equally prominent in results. As far as I can tell though, none of these topics are mentioned anywhere on Wikipedia so there is no scope for a redirect or disambig. Thryduulf (talk) 19:00, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Bernspeed (talk) 22:16, 3 May 2021 (UTC) I added this redirect not as a political attack but as a genuine disambiguation. I used it because it was a word that is used sometimes. I understand this might be used to smear the Republicans for supporting QAnon. Maybe we should have a disambiguation page. That would be more appropriate.[reply]

ICICB Group[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was delete. -- Tavix (talk) 20:03, 22 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Article was deleted per Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/ICICB Group and paid/UPE editor, now blocked, came in and added redirect against consensus. scope_creepTalk 14:27, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Speedy Delete G4 and G5 as recreation of deleted article by blocked user. Dominicmgm (talk) 14:44, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Note, G5 doesn't apply when a user was blocked AFTER they did something. Lyanbox's block is CIR/disruption related, not paid/UPE related. A review of the deleted article doesn't show any blocked users involved. G4 also doesn't apply. The redirect has nothing in similarity to the deleted content. -- ferret (talk) 15:42, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Delete While ICICB is mentioned at Atari SA#Atari Chain, it's unlikely any reader who actually knows of ICICB Group is expecting to be redirected to a video game company section. Beyond their promotional agreements, the companies have no relation. -- ferret (talk) 15:47, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment: While the redirect to Atari SA is indeed confusing, the ICICB Group appears to be independently notable and worthy of a separate article if their homepage[3] can be trusted – that is, if the ICICB Group indeed has 58 subsidiaries and 114 branches in 26 countries, and manages $2.6 billion in assets. A better solution would perhaps be to create the article. — kashmīrī TALK 17:23, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Considering a (lightly attended) AFD just deleted it a week ago as non-notable, that's unlikely right now. That's a topic for DRV though, I suppose. -- ferret (talk) 22:01, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Baba Adam[edit]

The following is an archived discussion concerning one or more redirects. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on an appropriate discussion page (such as the redirect's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this section.
The result of the discussion was keep. signed, Rosguill talk 19:00, 23 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The target is irrelevant: Baba Adam is in Iran, Baba Adam Shahid is in Bengal. 4nn1l2 (talk) 14:06, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Restore version before it was redirected and send to AfD. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:26, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep. The subject is a person who was known as "Baba Adam" according to the article (eg: Baba Adam was living in Makkah as a faqir...) -- Tavix (talk) 00:43, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep per Tavix. CycloneYoris talk! 07:12, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep: alternative name of the target. I don't see anything to restore: the article in the history was part of a mass creation that later turned out confused villages with abadis; from what I can see, the topic may not even be noteworthy enough to mention in a list in the article about the bigger administrative unit. – Uanfala (talk) 14:24, 20 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was delete given the discussion for the first redirect. Since the same is true for all of Ymblanter's redirections, I will close as a group. -- Tavix (talk) 00:35, 10 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Mazraeh-ye Gorgan-e Bitaraf[edit]

A specific geoname has been redirected to a general disambiguation page. This is in contrast to the philosophy of disambiguation pages which should redirect readers from general pages to specific ones. 4nn1l2 (talk) 13:59, 2 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Restore version before it was directed and send to AfD. @Ymblanter: should not have redirected this article to a disambiguation page. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:24, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Restoring is not an option, it was rejected by the community. The options are delete or redirect.--Ymblanter (talk) 11:29, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
This applies to all the redirects below which I created.--Ymblanter (talk) 11:36, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Ymblanter: And how am I supposed to know that? Nothing in RfD or at any of the target articles references any discussion/consensus. On the face of it these are declined PRODS, inappropriately redirected to disambiguation pages. They should be put back to the point before the PROD was applied and dealt with appropriately. Shhhnotsoloud (talk) 11:53, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
    [4]--Ymblanter (talk) 11:58, 4 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • Restore to version before it was redirected, and send to AfD. Note that "Do Ab, Khuzestan" is ambiguous, and a result of a deletion process might well be to redirect to the disambiguation page, but the original PROD doesn't make sense ("First, it has the term mazraeh (farm) in its name": it doesn't).
